Not sure you can even claim this is an app anymore...complete dumpster fire since the new update; most would-be functions just error out; the link to give them feedback via the app goes to a page that doesn't exist; and the payment feature doesn't work anymore even though the app is still showing the correct credit card information. It didn't work all that great before the update, but they seem to have turned either the coding or the overall project mgmt. over to folks who have no experience.

HORRIBLE app. Trying to place an order. Enter all of my credit card information, try to put in my zip code, cannot see the numbers, though I see the cursor moving. The box is smaller than all the other boxes, and when I hit "Done," nothing happens. Cannot place order. I called the store, they gave me a hard time about placing order over the phone and having it delivered. I don't want to have to get back in the car; I'd rather pay the delivery charge and a tip, but I guess not! Fix it, please!!

The app is inconsistent, often times it hangs on certain screens or will not allow you to order certain items. The website would get zero stars, don't bother trying to order there. The page has been stuck on 'heating up' for a month in my chrome browser. Then I tried a different browser (safari) and I got error 403 going to the main homepage.

Now they've fixed the menu issue, but the credit card portion still doesn't work right. Everytime I place an order, I have to re-enter my credit card info, even though it's valid. Recently, this cause an order to be canceled without me knowing. Fix your app!! As of 8/24/2023, still a problem, canceled my order 15 mins after placing, while I was driving to location. I guess other establishments want my money instead.

This company has had trouble with their app for some time now. They just can't get it right. I noticed they had a recent update so I decided to try it out. I wasted 20 minutes of my time trying to navigate through crashes only for it to not accept payment at the end of my order. I put in 2 cards for payment and it would automatically scroll up to where the add card tab is as if I didn't enter my card. This happened over and over again. I give up. Awful app.

With the latest update to the app, you now have to start your order over if you want to set a later time on the order. Got a saved favorite and want to order it for later? Too bad, you'll have to enter it again. Sometimes payment won't go through, but you'll still get your receipt and everything will seen fine until you show up at the store and they don't have your order. Please bring back the old app!

Formerly good, now garbage. I cannot even sign into the app... I cannot count on my hands and feet how many times I have tried to reset, only to be told after my PW was reset, that it was wrong. For those working on the app, I have a Samsung S22+. Phone is updated. Tried online. Same deal. Looks like it is time to EAT FRESH. At least their app works.

It's well designed by look only. The app freezes at every concern between updating payment info, scroll the menu, confirming the order and updating address location. Struggled Getting an order in, twice over the course of 4 hours maybe thinking it was a lunch rush and maybe it will be fine. Regretted relying on the app. Oh and there's no mac and cheese selection for the Mac n cheese option but is suggested as an order option.

Uninstalling, which is unfortunate because I love the restaurant, but the app hasn't worked for me once. I select pickup, choose a time, and get the pop-up that the location is unavailable for delivery... which I haven't selected. Updated and have tried various locations but am completely unable to complete an order. Bummer.

The payment option is terrible. It supposedly links or saves your card but needs to be reentered each time. Plus a card saved on phone with Google enters all the info quickly but the expiration date that Potbelly app uses is a different field type. So trying to order something quickly at a stoplight (or wherever), which should be easy becomes pulling over and fighting with the payment aspect. The rest of the app is fine.

I have literally only tried 2 things - customize a pizza melt and order a kids combo. When trying to customize the pizza, I am unable to remove meatballs. It always stays checked. When I try to scroll over to the Kids Combo section, the app crashes. Well, I guess I tried 3 things because the scan for points does work. So hooray, at least I'm getting my points.

Required a password reset, but password can only be reset in a browser that allows third-party cookies, which took me four failed resets to figure out. Gotta say, I'm not a fan of sites that refuse to function when you take the most rudimentary security precautions. Also, new app includes per-option calorie counts, which is nice, but the info is divided among three screens, and the app no longer displays total cals per item, which makes it all pointless. Who's adding all that up themselves?

There's a recurring problem with this app. It's connected to the Potbelly Perks rewards system, and occasionally you earn a free sandwich. Sounds great, right? NO. I 'm ordering for two people, so if one of the sandwiches is free, you get an error that says your order does not meet the minimum amount for delivery. THERE IS NO OPTION TO DECLINE THE FREE SANDWICH AND PAY INSTEAD. I need it delivered, I can't go pick up, so I have to order stuff I don't want to reach the minimum delivery price.

This review is for the app only! The App is annoying as it does not allow you to schedule your order for later pick up. I like to schedule my order based on my commute to work. You follow steps, the clicks don't work or won't lead you to the correct page. As of right now you can ONLY order through the App if you want to pick up asap. Come on Potbelly fix it!

App is super broken currently. Choose pickup at my regular location and it says "delivery not available at this location. Try pickup instead." Try to re-order a previous order and get a dialog that just says "closed" with an OK button and that's it. Randomly crashes entirely when I try to find a work around. Clearing cache doesn't help. Will upgrade my review when the app is fixed.

This review is strictly for the app, not the food or service. The app is clunky, and will randomly reset your selections. Can't back up a page without going to the main menu. The app changed selections I made after I had already submitted the order which caused issues at the restaurant when I went to pick up my food. Got a long way to go before the app is as good as the food is.

terrible app and portal where the buttons do not work when selected. ex. goes into infite loop when a selection is made to use the perks where it keeps going back to the starting point and will not accept the perks. Just cannot ever complete an order. Got so frustrated with the non functional buttons and skipped to use the perks and then the perks are expired. This is just one of many technical glitches from the app or portal. Please test your web and app thoroughly. Food is great...

The app has had so many problems. I've had issues where it takes me on a loop trying to add a perk. I have the item in my bag, but it's like it doesn't see it and keeps wanting me to add the item. And now the app keeps crashing, I can't even open it. My phone told me to wait for the developers to fix the bug and then update the app. I actually love potbelly, but this app is terrible.

Wow, where do I begin to describe the problems with this app. If you want to change location after selecting your food, you have to start over. If you want to change your pickup time after selecting your food, you have to start over. Once you select a Perk (cookie for example), you can't undo it and get your coins back. You also can't swap meats (no salami, substitute pepperoni instead). Please fix at least some of these! Galaxy S22

App sucks. My perosnal phone is androidand it doesn't work. I have an apple work phone and installed it on there and it works perfectly fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and it won't let me login in on my andriod. I tried resetting the password and it still comes back null. This is not the first time this app has failed me. Get your stuff together Potbelly and realize there's more android users than apple!!!!
