If I wanted to watch a trailer, I'd have clicked on the trailer button. Please do not force a full screen trailer right after I select a movie title to view more details about said movie. Maybe consider conducting a user study group when you roll out such features.

It's worse now with SO MANY ads with each click-thru. Cock-up navigation, took a few repeated moves to get to a cinema/movie schedule. Looking for alternative app now.

This app is riddled with ads. Everytime I choose a show time, an ad shows up to apply for a credit card. I might as well just visit the cinema's site myself.

Tried booking for a pop up cinema event a few times, but the app can't proceed to payment. so i tried creating an account, but still i wasnt able to log in. then i tried to contact customer service through the app, it doesnt work as well. NOTHING works

Lousy app. Full of adverts. Shd group all cinemas and showtimes under the same movie title whereby we don't have to go back and forth to check which has the ideal timing for the selected movie.

Not compatible with "back" button on android devices. So when i hit the back button, it quits the app instead of going back to the previous page. Developers seems to be developing in iOS mindset.

If you manage to fix the bugs, i will say this apps is good. It always can't check me in and need to keep restart several times on my headphone then only can check in. When i wanna refer my friends to install this apps, the link seems invalid.

The company tried to charge me $20.99 which is a lot more than I thought it was. I use Cinehut but Apple phones won't be able to use it, which is Hella crappie and it needs to be changed. It's $4.99 at the beginning of the month and at the end, buy it's totally worth the money seriously try it out. God bless you. XoJaynaoX ❣

Yeah, so I tried to search up Monsters Inc, and whenever I get to the word Mons, it just crashes! And when I try getting to mon, and then press the search button, it just says loading for a solid 4 hours! So I got fed up, and pressed the loading thing, and then? IT RESTARTS THE APP TO THE USELESS MOVIES! So I decided to watch the movie Inside Out instead. When I clicked, IT CRASHED AGAIN! SAME WITH ALL THE OTHERS! THIS APP SUCKS!

idea is good, if can list down all timing and movie for each cinema will be good (not click one by one) and can you guys improve on the backward function? sooo easy to quit the apps and have to restart all over again, very annoying!!

Aside from things everybody else has mentioned - limited to no movies options, awkward UI experience, there are also only about 10-15 major metropolitan cities/areas from which to choose. That in itself makes the app limiting, even if it actually had movies listed (which it did not).

Used to be a great app. Nowadays it just crashes or hangs and pops ups ads every 3 seconds. Impossible to do anything in the app. The moment you want to do something, ads will interrupt you. Its frustrating. Such a pity. This app was great for avid movie-goers like me. Uninstalled.

Need some updates to address a particular bug. Main annoyance is when i see a movie listing (say movie A) and press back, it went into an ad with 2 options "open" or "close" and if i choose "close", the page will return back to the movie listing A and the cycle goes on and on. Logic fail.

The app is fine to me. But there many major areas are still yet to be improved. The most important is the data mining (ie. available show location); which doesn't gave full geograhical information. Since Rotten Tomatoes is so unreliable nowadays, I'm looking for another honest review app I could find. I hope Popcorn would be like RT which they ignore our opinions.

It's amazing that as an app, Popcorn can afford to be lazy and yet still be up there. They haven't been including movie censorship ratings for the longest time but continue to get away with it. It seems like this app's developer thinks that censorship ratings are not important in the decision-making process of picking a movie to watch (esp when you have kids).

1) other than confusing between pop up movies and new movie, 2)previously u have moving advertising on Spider verse at the search tab, it take so slow to load up, jus wanting to search a movie , and making the whole screen slowdown with animated and sounds on the background. 3) at the movie tab part, now it take more than 10sec to load up all the picture, i am using a 6gig ram phone , and not to mention the moving picture, yes it look nice and sleak but jus a movie picture is good enough.

ABSOLUTELY UNUSABLE. ads keep popping up preventing you from doing anything in the app. Look for something else better. You Only see ads and can't search or book movies. Waste of memory space to install this. I don't think the developers even check that the app is usable ! They are only interested in ad revenue ...

I also just downloaded this app on my phone but it doesn't show anything all it shows is black nothing else when uu wait for it, it says oops something went wrong. I just undownloaded the app.

I had to uninstall. Too bad, this app does some things very well, it offers movie information for all of Singapore in a fairly organized way. But the ad management is out of control. Ads pop up when the app is not open and interfere with other uses of your phone or the app. This app does not own my phone, thank you, stay in your lane Popcorn. Hope someone else will do this better because there is a very good core idea here. Just so annoying from a UX perpsective.
