It worked fine but it keeps losing the signal. Plus it would be really nice if I could close out my phone and have it still running in the background. It don't do that. Plus it won't add an app on my phone . So I can't use it to check on fires in my area so all these issues I'll give it one star and find another one.

Annoyed with the frequency of ads, I purched for $3.00. After picking a station I am unable to switch between stations. I am stuck with one station/channel. Also noticed the ONLY way to disengage is to pause the channel. There is ABSOLUTELY no way to exit and close the app. It ALWAYS is active. Really not thrilled about that!

It's OK. I keep getting ads non stop which is a bummer. My husband has the same app, no upgrades and he can listen for like 15 minutes without being interrupted. Mine is almost every minute.

I bought this app, it's ok but the hot part just doesn't work, most of the time it's not populated and when it is it's wrong, there are streams with 1000+ listeners yet the top feed shows 200. Please sort this out dev I have noticed ads have been added to certain streams, i have paid for it and this has only just started can you explain? Hot still fails to populate most of the time and can you add the ability to list by number of listeners. Thanks

I have had this app for many years. Is it very good app for my local fire department. But recently I cannot hear the volume will not go up loud enough hopefully there's an update or a fix for it soon

I actually used to love this app until I got this new phone and now any time someone starts to talk on here then a extremely loud add from TikTok comes on trying to get me to download the app ... I already have the app downloaded on this phone so it's a little irritating I never had adds I honestly don't think unless they were just ones that didn't blare loud music and have loud talking

This is the best police scanner app I have found so far. Way too many long ads that interrupt constantly and the feed doesn't automatically start back up after the ads are over so you have to x out of them every time before you can continue listening. It's a major annoyance but it's so much fun to listen to.

Only thing I hate is ads so paid for ad free version! Everytime someone was about to say something on scanner an ad would start. Glad the ad free version wasn't expensive like the other apps due to the person broadcasting the areas scanner not being online 24/7. I also like that it has the NOAA channel for my local area! 100% recommended this app to anyone who is curious or wants to know what goes on in their town that doesn't end up in the newspaper, online, or notified by law enforcement

It's a great app if you spend the few dollars for the paid version. If you try using just the free version, you'll be frustrated! You'll have ads every couple minutes that will disrupt the feed, and you'll have to manually restart the feed on which ever station/channel you were listening to. Spend the money on the paid version.

In order to listen to radio outside of the app/phone locked/while using other apps they make you pay the upgraded "premium" account. I really don't feel like draining my battery keeping my phone screen on since I'm only listening, and there is nothing to look at within the app. i would highly recommend downloading "Scanner Radio". It provides the same thing, also a free app, and doesn't make you pay to listen outside of the app. I'm listening now while reviewing, can't do that with this app.

Pretty good reception for the agencies I listen to. The listed call centers for this app covers just about any region I am interseted in. It would be nice to have a serch method to look up a specific agency, but I'm pretty sure a search would result in a "not found" result as some call centers are restricted. Overall, this is a great app to have on my phone!

I would rate this app a 0 if i could just because of how they do the ads alone. I understand running ads for the free version but their is plenty of room to run an ad banner across the screen instead of a full screen every two minutes interupting the scanner feed and at times shutting off the feed and you have to pay very close attention or you wouldnt know the feed is off. I understand trying to get people to pay for the app but this is just stupid.

Too many ads. Have to keep pressing play. On the plus side, automatically adjusts audio for clear listening over every channel tried ao far. Wud give 5 stars if app played smoothly without traps to open Google Play. Normally use another app but my favorite channel has been offline. With this app stopping constantly, it's no different from offline app. Please fix bugs and I will update review. Thank u for ur time.

Unplayable on samsung a20...15-30 seconds after you select your station, an ad pops up with no way to close it out. No X ever appears, cannot use any buttons except the home and open apps(back button does not work), and hitting install then closing the play store brings you back to the same ad that was there, in my case for the weather channel app. Deleting and it's a shame, very good & useful app in the past....navigated my daughter driving thru a flood via phone.

GREAT way to pass time. Good chance there'll be a channel, in your area, to listen to, (but wish there were more choices, though). Keeps you well a prised of local events, if you're out & about, or just near your domicile. App descript says you have choices but doesn't really tell you how to access them. There's also something about gameplay but no descript about it or how to access it. The controls are relatively ok but could be mucho better. Thanks, for what you have done so far, it's great!

Volume level is a little low and free version has lots of fullscreen ads that convinced me to pay 3 bucks to get rid of them. On the plus side quite a few choices for what to listen to and it will play in the background when other apps are being opened and it isn't a memory hog. I recommend treating the free version as a free trial so to speak and if you like just pay the $3 as it is worth it.

I upgraded my membership about a year ago and at first I was having some problems with the scanner not wanting to load but for the past month or so it seems to be working okay. I'm updating my review today June 20,2019 and I'm very disappointed with this app. for the past two months the scanner won't work at all anymore for my local area. it just won't load up and always gives me a error message. it looks like I just waisted my money buying the membership. buy at your own risk

This would be a great app if you didn't have to keep your screen lit up, (at least it was that way on my Samsung,) and it weren't interrupted by an ad, which mutes the scanner until you deal with/close it, at least once every 5 minutes. If those issues are only like that in the free version, it was bad enough to turn me off from even considering the pay version.

Once you "tune" to a station, the app is fine, but it does not "scan". Seems like it's impossible to mimic the classic real scanner that listens for activity on multiple frequencies and then plays those. This is one station at a time. To make matters worse, it doesn't automatically start your last saved station and requires a couple of clicks just to find again in your favorites. It's a nice app, but seriously needs improvements in UI design.

Really good police app! I paid for the new ads and it was worth it. I had it for awhile. The only thing is, the playback isn't working the last 2 weeks, so I tried a scanner that had a lot of listeners, same thing. Please fix this problem. I tried emailing you but it got sent back to me :/ I love this scanner because of my job I'm out n about on weekend nights and like to know what's happening in the neighborhoods that I go into.
