Edit: Dec2020 What happened to the interface? I used to love this app, if was like a mini lightroom, well laid out and powerful. I'll admit it's still powerful but the interface is ... Meh. It's vertical instead of horizontal and why did they cram everything into "adjust" instead of having everything within reach? It just looks like actual lightroom mobile, which isn't a good thing. Downgrade to 3 stars. Distortion correction and Tint controls make this killer. Need raw support, but I'll wait

Update- Still unable to do anything past home screen. Emailed them with all the info they requested, never heard back & was still charged monthly fee for a bogus app. I switched back to Snapseed & downgraded my 2 star review to 1 star. Sorry Polarr, I would have gladly upgraded my review had the problems been addressed & fixed like you posted it had been nearly a month ago. Original- App would not let me save pictures before the update & would crash often. After update it will not open past the beginning of app at all. It stays stuck on the "Polarr" screen. I have the upgraded version.

I love this app for editing on my Pixel 6 Pro cellphone. I would give it 5 stars but every month or so it seems to lose access to the premium features I paid for. I contact support and eventually it works perfect again. But it's extremely frustrating when I have an important project to work on and the Pro features have been lost again, and I can't do anything I want with it while waiting for the fix. Otherwise it's a great app. ** Edited. Polarr support fixed the problem right away. Thanks!

I've used this app for editing photos and artworks I've made for years, and I love how easy it is to use. It tunes images beautifully. Now that a majority of the features are behind a membership it's practically useless. Basic editing tools shouldn't have to be paid for when many other apps offer them for free. I'm really saddened to see this happen to such a good app.

I have used this app for years, I would say since 2019. I loved it and how easy it was to make high quality filter. Now, I can't even use it because it's built like a social media app instead a filter database and it sucks. Everything has a "VIP" lock on it. I can't even download ANY photo type because they're all on lockdown. I would actually prefer getting 10 second ads everytime instead of whatever is happening to this app. I understand they need to make money and a living somehow but still.

Polarr just keeps shooting itself in the foot. The long promised "new features" seem to be limited to an unnecessary UI redesign. Whatever happened to RAW support? Is the histogram gone forever? Is there no value in having the axes on the curves tool be the same scale? The introduction of LUTs was great but that was a couple years ago now. How about some LAB color? How about adding an accurate numerical display to the color temperature scale?

So disappointed - Like so many others, this used to be my go to editing app, but it has become such a hassle now and lost quality. I even opted to pay for the annual subscription to continue editing my photos, however, after accidentally purchasing the lite plan, I purchased the pro plan and they still charged me the full amount (they didn't deduct the first plan's cost from my 2nd purchase for essentially the same product). Customer service is very poor and won't even respond to my messages.

This used to be my go-to app for editing, as it was free and easy to use without convenience. However, ever since you put many features there behind a paywall, it's made things much more difficult. I understand you need to make money somehow, however, I feel like you overdid it. I feel as though paid filters should have been enough. I also feel like the limit of 3 filters is very hindering and it's very irritating, especially when I only want to support my favorite creators on the app.

All I do in this app is add letterboxing to photos via the "border" tool. (Filters? Ew!) Everything was cool until it forced me to watch 30 seconds of ads for junk. 30 seconds is way too much for what I want from this app. And if the app creators want to associate with ads from Temu, that's good for you but it speaks volumes to me. Junk pushes junk.

EDIT: The update that I received today, October 1 2018, FIXED it! After 2 months of not even being able to open the app, it opens and works well for me now, and it jumps back up to my #1 favorite photo editing app. Thank you!! This used to be my favorite image editing app, until August 2018 when my Pixel received the Android 9 (Pie) update. Now the app won't even open. I wish there were a way for the company to let us know that they are working on it. I hope they are! I'm keeping it installed on my phone for now & am trying to open every few days, hoping it'll work. Some people are paying a monthly subscription fee for this app and won't continue to pay for something that doesn't work.

this app used to work really good, but now everytime i load a photo the brush tool tutorial or whatever it is literally cuts in the screen and you can't even see your photo anymore. i already know how to use this feature. so why does it keep glitching on every photo i pull up to where i have to restart the app every time? plus, you can't even fully see the tutorial because it's cut in a skinny rectangle shape. please fix the bugs in this app.

not sure what happened but now when i try to adjust the intensity of a filter, it doesnt adjust smoothly anymore. it glitches and gets very pixilated before adjusting to the new setting. i also dont like how the intensity adjudting bar is above the picture, my fingers get in the of being able to see the picture while tuning it. bar should be below or on the side of picture, not above.

Styles dont show most of the time. The changes in the UI from how it used to be are ridiculous. It's CLUNKY, ANNOYING, and more TEDIOUS to edit photos. FIX PREVIEWS, when you hold your FINGER on the screen, show the original photo!! not just for a few milliseconds! It's obviously not working right, why hasn't that been fixed? The curves UI is also very clunky, and it's harder to adjust it than it used to be. The old UI was very good, looked clean and professional, and was actually responsive....

Missing the previous version. Newest update is way too complicated. Here's my complaints. 1. No longer can find the clone/ spot fix tool 2. Missing my favorite filters 3. When selecting a face it no longer allows you to draw a box around a desired area. Instead, it will only allow you to use the face tool if whole face is visual in photo. Please bring back the previous version!

I really like this app and I think for quick edits on the for it's perfect! You can create layer masks (gradient, brush, circular, etc) for different overlays and opacity options, they have a boarder feature which allows you to make an image the appropriate dimentions for what ever social media platform you're using Suggestions: able to rearrange the layering masks, it would also be cool create a mask from points you choose on the screen. Also please fix sign in issues with PC app.

Honestly, this app was one of my go-to's for when I needed to edit some of my photos. And I've been using it in that manner for at least 2 years. But lately, it's been becoming more and more like hot garbage. Almost all the features are premium, THE MAIN features that made the app good. Now,we can't have the many filters we want. Making filters is so damn complicated. Not everyone has the money to be premium. Not everyone wants to commit to the app for the BARE MINIMUM.

Watch a 30 second add to save one photo? Fine. But now I can't even use my saved filters at all. I'm sorry, but that's actually outrageous. I understand that you need money for your creators, but a 30 second add for every picture is probably PLENTY. Absolutely everything worthwhile is behind a paywall and I wouldn't be upset about that if it was a one-time payment for everything, but it's a subscription. Even if you do pay for it, it's not worth it for what you get. I miss when this app was good

This app used to be great. When they changed to requiring a subscription to use most of the filters or pro editing tools, I stopped using it. Tried to come back and paid for the first subscription tier, but I can't even resize and photo or use the supposedly "free" tools without being told I need to upgrade to the higher plan. I feel like I wasted my money, and I can't even use editing features that are standard on my built in picture editing app. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

Do not waste your time. When you start to try and use the app, first it makes you log into your google account, even if you are logged in through the browser, then it opens up edge and tells you you don't have the right chrome extention downloaded, then when you download that extention, it allows you to install it on your phone, basically, it gives you a runaround of pointless tasks and never does whatever it is that it claims to do (which was never clear) This is not a valid service or softwar

I would give this negative stars if I could. You have to pay for EVERYTHING. none of the filters work they just turn blue and if you want to put a filter on a photo you have to watch and ad on top of everything else. It is ridiculous. This app used to be free completely but now it's filled with ads, subscriptions, and malfunctioning features.
