First off I love the art on the cards as well as the ones with the animation, the accessories are neat as well. I really dislike how the wonder pick regens so slow when the odds of even getting a rare IF they have one is so low but it requires 3 to 4 stamina just to do the 1 pick, then wait 3 days to get enough to try again at a different pick (witch refresh after a few hr). The rest feels like the game wants you to spend $$$ to build a decent deck. I stick around waiting for trading.

Really fun as I get to further appreciate the art that's used for the cards. However, there is a major issue, and while I don't know if it's just with my device in particular or if other players have run into it as well, I figured it best to mention it so the developers are aware of it. Sometimes when playing the game, my screen will rapidly flash, and I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but I recommend that the developers look into it before it happens to someone with epilepsy

Going second is almost always better than going first. When they are equally matched, the second player is almost certain to win. Maybe first player can get two energy on their second turn but has to place them on different Pokémon? I don't know, but something needs to be done to bring balance. It is impossible to read the Pokémon in the top left corner of a stage 1 or 2 card. It's difficult to click on a card during battle to read it. Otherwise, there is a lot to like.

Actual game experience is pretty great so far, I really enjoy opening packs and collecting cards. Battles are fun too, basically just a very simplified version of the physical TCG. Stars are taken off for 2 reasons: 1. It's wild that you can't attach energy turn 1, it makes going 1st a huge disadvantage. This isn't even a rule in the real card game 2. App is currently very buggy and crashes a LOT, which makes it harder to enjoy. Game is fun, but these things knock out down a peg or two for me.

Good, but with some issues. The Good: Gorgeous and nostalgic card art that reminds me of opening packs as a wee lad. Battles have been streamlined by removing energy cards and giving you one free energy per turn, plus resistances have been removed. The Bad: No story mode, just a series of progressively more difficult singleplayer challenges, and there aren't many. Once you run out of hourglasses in the shop opening packs slows to a crawl. Needs more content.

It's great and fun to collect cards/battle, and I LOVE the customization, but It would get a 5 star from me if they shortened the time it takes to register new cards. A solution would be to remove the first part that requires input from you. It says, "Click to add cards to deck." This takes time, and I could be opening more packs or anything else. It's a small complaint. Everything else has been fun and engaging.

So far, I am quite impressed. I collect Pokémon Cards for fun, and it's nice to see there is now an app dedicated just for that! It's super easy, and learning how the card game works is also really easy now with the help of the tutorial system. My only thing is, again. I just like to collect cards for the fun of it and to complete the dex. Developers, if you can consider adding the scan feature for the barcodes for the physical cards. That would be amazing! I highly recommend the app! ✨️10/10✨️

The UI, graphics, and battle experience are great. Downsides are found in the way one obtains cards and is able to subsequently form their own decks. This was ingrained into the game, so I was not surprised, but I ended up being more annoyed with it than I thought. It takes 12 hours for you to get a pack cool down, the daily missions (outside of the beg/adv missions you get when you start) give you about 4ish hourglasses. This makes it very difficult to do anything without waiting months.

This is honestly kinda cool, and I'm not even much of a pokemon fan. Certain cards where you can touch and hold it and go into the card honestly blew my mind when I first saw it; turning a 2d image into parallaxing/3d like that is very impressive. That said, it runs kinda slow on my phone, especially when there's 3d elements happening. I don't know if it's just the game or my phone, but I honestly feel like it shouldn't be so laggy, especially with how minimal the app is.

This app is really cool and, so far, I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the reason I gave it three stars is because they need to add an option to ignore all of the pointless animations for opening packs/adding them to your card dex. It takes WAY too long to open one pack and add five measly cards. (Yes, I'm aware there is a "fast forward" button - but it doesn't actually accelerate anything. There are still WAY too many screens that you have to "fast forward" through).

It's fun, but the battle system against the AI is totally in the game's favor. Coin flips are heads 75% of the time for the opponent, and feels like only 25% for the player. So if you want the rewards for completing those battles, you have to be ready to retry over and over - very frustrating. Also, both winning and losing should grant EXP, otherwise its a waste for the one who loses (unless they concede). And if weakness only adds 20 damage, resistance needs to be in the game.

I do like playing the game so far. But I doubt I'll be playing this a week out. Pros: The cards look fantastic, and it's really fun collecting them . The battle system is fun even though it is a lite version. The solo battles have missions that add some extra difficulty that I enjoy. Cons: Not nearly enough solo content, and the online content needs to add more rewards for engaging. As well as a better matching system. The in-game currency became hard to get after my first day as well.

Decent concept, collect cards and battle. I played the original TCG1 (and 2) and Gameboy, which had a plot and battling, this is just battling. There are only a few dozen battles in this, with challenges for each. The battling system is great and quick, and modified from the original TCG system. However, getting new cards is a slog. Wait 12 hours to get a pack of only 5 cards. No new cards for winning battles. No plot or characters. 8 different types of in game currencies that reduce wait time

Very good app so far, love the art, the game play and it's pretty easy to learn! I had never played the actual card game but as of release I've been able to make it through all the quests to advanced! My main issue is the wait time. 12 hours is a little obnoxious for just one pack that doesn't guarantee anything good. With the battles requiring you to get good cards, it makes it seem almost pay to win with what you'd have to spend to get a solid deck. Maybe shorter wait times, like 3 or 6 hours.

Pros: Ripping packs is great. They reel you in with being able to open a ton of packs right off the bat, and then slow down the rate drastically. Battle system is better than expected, but it's more about just collecting. Cons: Highly addictive, but could easily become boring if you don't drop money into it. Battle system may start to feel repetitive after awhile and largely depends on luck (but no more than any other TCG) Bugs: Crashes several times a day, but I haven't lost anything from it.

Enjoying the New release. So far no bugs that I've seen. Compared to it's couterpart its a much faster app, graphics art is also amazing. Love the card album(card version pokedex) multiplayer etc. It's very good and thanks to the team of devs who provided this newer app "version". Not sure why its called 'pocket' maybe because it's played vertically rather Than tcg horizontal screens perhaps🤷🏽♂️.

Very fun. Kinda like gambling, but free and better. I really like the fact that you can make your own decks for battle. I espesially love the EX cards, full art cards, and immersive cards. I only have the immersive Pikachu card, but I plan to change that. I also love the fact that you can spend a bit more than 100 hourglasses to get 10 card packs. I really love this game, and there is a lot more that I believe is coming.

It's a great idea and love collecting them when I was a kid. Always wanted to learn how to actually play the card game now I can lol. But my only thing is besides some bugs that are going on ( which I'll get into) are after opening a pack I don't think it's necessary to have another screen to tap to catalog them into your collection it should just happen. Bugs are it crashing or screen freaks out as the pack opens or upon opening

Very unbalanced so far, I love collecting cards and playing IRL so I love the idea of this mini game. But so far it's pretty unfair, I'm not sure if my partner, friends and I are just glitched but 10+ times of the NPC enemy getting heads in a row, or 10+ times of us getting tails in a row isn't "raising difficulty," it just makes it feel pointless. With that it just feels rigged and like being cheated, it's not lack of skill. Hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise I'll just stick to the actual tcg

It's alright I guess. I like the art for lots of the cards, which makes collecting them pretty fun. However, waiting 12 hours for a card pack is a little ridiculous, especially since opening them is the whole premise of the game. Also, they took out energy cards? Instead we get a free energy every turn, which takes quite a bit of strategy out in building a deck. I dont see why they couldnt just make this like the game you play with physical cards. Overall, a little disappointing, but whatever :/
