The game itself IS fun, but understandably playing on phone isn't as enjoyable as gaming on PC. When playing the game Runs smoother, Loading isn't a hassle, Doesn't crash whenever I start it up (personlly) and I can PLAY. THE. GAME. Simple stuff... However, playing on phone is the opposite: The gameplay is buggy, when starting the app you get what feels like a 1% chance of getting past the loading screen. If they focused on getting the bugs fixed, it would be entertable on both devices...

Too many times says reconnecting when tides shift in my favor then the screen goes blank but they play new cards and they go in the discard pile. but when clicking the game log i see the game is still going. The timer runs out every turn but it never reconnects. I have to completely restart the game. It happens daily. There must be a hack you guys haven't patched but need to look into my concedes. They are 90% for this reason. It tarnished standard ranked for me.

Should be 4 stars. Just God awful. Password always resets or just doesn't work when app is reinstalled. Then, after changing password, still doesn't work. Customer service will literally just tell you that they can't help because they don't even know what in the world is going on. App crashes all the time on every system losing you ranked points. I just wanna play this flipping game if yall could get yourself put together over there.

Terrible mobile app, buggy to the point of being non-functional. There are standard-legal cards that don't work. Constant crashing and freezing. Every day I log in, I experience at least one match where the UI becomes uninteractable. In summary, there are no components of the app that work acceptably. And the app has been in this state for a long time with no sign of improvement. Unfortunately representative of the poor quality control we have come to expect from the franchise.

An awesome card game experience ruined constantly by freezes, bugs, and errors. The development team needs to spend far more time stabilizing the UI from causing the game to create inescapable loops or card plays that never resolve. I've had to quit multiple times just to restart, and it affects win counts and ladder ranking with no bug reports or messages to show what caused the crash. I love playing the game, I've built killer decks. But the instability ruins what would be a great game.

It's pretty Awful on anything that isn't a computer. I'll start from most annoying to least. It fails to connect most of the time for me. "Your session has expired". It then kills your phone battery. No option for horizontal play. The game itself is a buggy mess and just doesn't work half the time as well. So much promise, such awful awful design. .25/5 stars.

Its fun and can be entertaining, but there are some glitches. There needs to be more options with the character customization, and do SOMETHING with the battle log. Its dumb that you can't go back to your records and show proof of what happened if there was a problem. Example; Mimikyu burning from a Pokemon Ex attack, and the only time you can see the battle log, is right after the match. Once you click away, the battle log doesn't exist. Other than that, pretty fun game.

I was having fun playing online, although it was a little glitch at times, but now I can't log in. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still won't work. Also, this is more of a personal thing, but the art style of the avatars is kinda goofy, I wish it was more like the art style in the mainline games. Edit: Was finally able to sign in, I just left it open after trying for a long time and it worked eventually. Still really buggy, but not 1 star bad.

90% of players at some sort of elo are BOTS. You can easily tell when an AI is making the moves. They make choices in 1-2 seconds and make the optimum choice every time to run the deck. When it becomes mathematically impossible for the bot to win, it auto concedes. Please fix and get rid of AI in this game. Thank you! Sincerely, A person who LOVES POKEMON

Putting it simply: the GAME is a lot of fun, the APP needs a lot of work. It's very difficult to play when the game has many bugs that don't get addressed by the (frequent) maintinence breaks, but the TCG is so fun that we all put up with it to keep playing. However bugs are slowly getting better instead of worse.

I don't know if it's my phone or this game just sucks, but yeah it only really works as it should about 75% of the time, there is a lot of "unplanned maintenance" between the planned and announced down times, as well as randomly card faces will render as the back of the card when they are played/put into hand or deck... Skipped turns and lag causing misplays unless you are careful and compensate for it on your own... The grind is not too bad if you manage to get the premium pass with grinding.

Please fix this game so it works better on mobil devices 😔. This game is really fun and I enjoy it. However, I am giving it 3 stars due to it not being very mobile. I have it on my phone and tablet, but it barely works. It kicks me out of games and I lose my exp. I really hope they figure out how to make it mobile. I am sure it works fine on a computer or laptop, but they need to make it playable on the go. Other than that the game is great. Just hope the devs can fix the portability issue.

I really love this game. I have a lot of fun with it, but occasionally, I'll get matches where it'll only let me play one or two rounds and then just start skipping my turn every time after that. I'm pretty sure it's not lag, because I'm able to still do the emotes, and the other players respond fairly quickly. It seems like the game is just glitching out and not letting me play. I also couldn't find any options to contact any customer support to otherwise report this issue.

It's fun but needs a system to where it matches up people with the same ladder rank instead of getting demolished by someone who's been playing a long time vs a new beginner. It's hard to find interest after losing a bunch. I've only won 2 matches out of like the 13 I played. For it being a "Trading Card Game" I would like to see a "Trade" mechanic implemented into the game so that people who may Not particularly be good/interested in battling can still have fun collecting the virtual cards!

Great game for when you wanna be competitive and it constantly crashing or not allowing you to search your decks. Spectacular game when you are looking for a place that's constantly doing routine maintenance and can't fix the problems. I highly recommend it if you enjoy losing progress or not being able to use your moves or utilize your hand. This game has more problems than a 61 card deck with 5 bosses orders.

It's...okay. Like many others here, I miss the old version--but even ignoring its prequel, this game is frustratingly buggy on both my phone and computer; There is a special kind of rage that comes with being unable to select a key card while the turn timer is rapidly dropping. That said, it's still a must-have for anyone wanting to learn the TCG. Especially when it comes to tricky wording on some cards--you might play it wrong irl, but you can't play it wrong online.

This review is for the mobile app only, the game itself is really fun and I have played this for a long time. I really want this app to just work because I love this game, but it doesn't. The app is horrible and if it gets optimized to be actually playable I will change this to 5 stars. The issues - it takes forever to log in, it crashes constantly, freezes constantly, if you want to play this play it on a pc or tablet, not android, it really is a amazing game when it works.
