With a player vs player option the gacha would be so much more worth it. As of now I see no reason to pay or be competitive with a team other than the kindness of my heart to support the developer or to collect my favorite trophy characters. But that isn't enough incentive at the current prices. Good game mechanics, story, graphics, voice talent, everything but the amount of worthwhile content. A little bit of competition would draw in a lot more sales and keep players around longer.

Its not good. Gems that aren't bought with money don't work, the controls feel terrible, the gameplay has almost nothing in common with pokemon aside from moves, the graphics are only acceptable, and i can see that nothing in the game (animations or gameplay) is very smooth. Its really not good. The gem system needs fixing, the game needs more optimization to work smoother and nothing can really be done about the gameplay except for maybe making it responsive. Once some stuff is fixed, 4 star.

Incompatible with Android 10. No response to email requesting support after 12 hours. Wouldn't transfer saved data to another phone. No response after asking for help there either. Fine game until I couldn't play it anymore. Update: 4 stars for it working again. Fun game that reminds me of the classic Gameboy versions. Lost all of my saved data when I updated to Android 10 though. Edit 2: The updates have really improved the game. Really appreciate the updates and constant work.

Playing on a Galaxy 8+. Theres the odd framerate drop when a new Trainer joins my party but otherwise this game looks really good and runs nicely enough. The battle system isnt turn based anymore but rather a "charge" system, where simple moves take a couple seconds to ready up and more powerful ones will need more. The highlight is the characters, and everyone from Cynthia to a mook Youngster has a wide variety of poses and expressions during dialogue, it's really adorable/ impressive.

Very fun and nice story, but the battles are a bit too slow. The recharge takes too long, so battles get stuck for a few moments as both sides wait for recharge. Along with the co op story and event battles get really unreasonable difficult. I've been stuck for days, unable to progress in them. And Evolution crystals are way too expensive.

This game all the classic Pokemon and characters you remember from previous games and the anime. The voice acting, for what little there is, is fun and cute. The dialogue, art style and story are also nice. The not so good: This game seems to have a very steep learning curve. You go from easily winning early battles to being stuck quite often later on. It's also pretty tricky to simultaneously control 3 pokemon and often will focus on using just one. Type advantage is almost a necessity too!

Not bad, but there are two things killing this game. 1) As much as I like the sync pair idea, I don't like not being able to change Pokemon. Having limited choices per character would be a big improvement. Having pokemon with different stats and abilities mapped to characters with their own stats is a missed opportunity. 2) Paid-currency being required for 10 pulls is absolute garbage and predatory for microtransactions. Use caution.

The game is ok. Finish story mode, so now there's nothing really to do aside from leveling up your other characters or completing certain quest. Feels a bit repetitive. ☆☆ The only thing that I want is for there to be a replay/cycle button instead of having to click the same mode again and again. Like I spam the level up training mode, but I wish it would automatically start again... with being able to choose when to stop during a game or so...get what I mean? ☆☆ Other than that, its cool.

After day 1 bug fixes, the game plays great. Few frames lost when you do sync moves and I have an S9+. Bit of a grindfest for items to level up Pokemon and teach them new moves, the difficulty spikes around chapter 7 or 8, and it doesn't help when the Auto Battle function only focuses on the highest cost moves, and sometimes just uses all items at once. But characters are timeless and having them with voices makes the experience bareable. If you can take the grind, you'll easily fit right in.

Disappointing, UI is set up like Yu-gi-oh Duel Links, but without any charm to it. Has a battle system that is pretty obnoxious to use. The depth of this game, for it being so *competitive* is incredibly basic, even for a Pokémon game. It looks pretty great, though and the animations are pretty fluid. I also really appreciate the emphasis on character diversity in personalities, much like the game and shows. Wish they'd put half the effort in the gameplay/design as the did with the looks.

Lost my account because of an error in opening the app. Even though I contacted support, they said because it wasn't linked to a Nintendo account (which I couldn't do because of being unable to open the app) they couldn't do anything. This is an account I've spent money on. Other apps I've used have been able to resolve the problem before without a problem (thanks to spending money on it) but apparently not an official Nintendo app. Don't spend money on this app. Not worth it.

This game freaking rocks! They give out some pretty good free stnc pairs and events are fun! Few things away from being damn near perfect. Roll cakes and the things to upgrade sync pairs fully being hard to obtain, and not giving out nearly enough free gems or ways to get them per price it cost to buy the packs, and a few other things. I love this game and would def recommend to anyone and everyone. It's tons of fun and worth the time

I've been playing for about 6 months, it's repetitive but pretty entertaining with the variety of tasks. I wish they would add more ways to earn power ups(like the lucky skills quests just added) and maybe add a move scroll generator to add variety to pokemon movesets instead of only base skills. as of today, I can't log in due to connection issues(20110) and yet I'm here typing this and using other apps....so I'll update later if I have to delete this game and get a refund or if it's solved.

I LOVE this game, like alot, Storyline was amazing, gameplay itself was excellent, solo and CO-OP battles were awesome! but one Certain issue is why I'm giving this game a 4 star rating... so I play on a apparently Compatible device, yet I've gone on youtube and seen people able to go in the expedition tab without their game Crashing.. I tried to go in it 4 times and it crashed every time... I wanna know if I'm doing something wrong or expedition disabled? It is annoying to crash my game

I enjoy the gacha part of the game, and it seems fairly fair, generally I get at least one new character per pull. The only part so far I've had trouble with is the Victory Road in the Champion Stadium, which acts out more like a tutorial that seems extremely unfair despite the fact it's unlocked after you've gotten through a decent portion of the game. It was extremely frustrating and seemed more like a reason to annoy the heck out of the player than be good and fun.

I really wanted to like this game, but I don't know how else to describe it other than, nothing really happens in it. The scenarios and interactions aren't interesting and the gameplay is boring and extremely repetitive. I like learning about the characters, except you don't really learn anything, Volo is a merchant who likes ruins, the dialouge is bland. Even as a gacha game its fairly lackluster. Some voice choices are odd, but I do like that there are voiced lines. The scenery is pretty too.

Honestly a fun time and a good time waster. Good for playing on the go for short periods of time, or playing for longer periods of time at home. Not to mention it's pretty beginner friendly and teaches you all sorts of stuff from the get-go. Not to mention if you're looking to up your skills it teaches you advance stuff as well so much so that it's easy to learn. Although the summoning currency is hard to rack up, so you won't be summoning all that often.

So far, this is a really good game and I enjoy the variety of characters! Keep up the good work! *Edit: Hey developers over at DeNa, I just wanted to reach out and explain that I'm currently having difficulties logging in, every time I boot the game up it says "Error 10009 An error has occurred. Restarting game." And it was working just fine prior to the most recent update. If I could recieve some help or anything like that would be really appreciated! Keep up the amazing work over there!

Game is a little heavy on the device, but is amazing. Older and less popular characters return, and there's a pokemon pair for everyone! The customization isnt too great, but quite honestly your own character is most likely not your first pick, as there are so many other characters from the franchise! The main menus are slightly jittery, but the game never crashes on me!

Normally, I hate these kinda of games. Even Pokémon Go lost it's flavor for me a while back. I usually hate games where you collect champions to fight endless battles. But. This one is different. I actually have a lot of fun playing it, and I like that it's trainers and gym leaders from all the games. Some I know, some I don't, and I love collecting and leveling them. Also, the non-paid gem system is really cool, and I get a lot of gems to collect more trainers. Overall, very fun!
