It's a super cute game, that I won't deny. But it seems to become a pay to win type game. After you get past a certain level, the orders get to be absurdly difficult, to a point where you have to buy more acorns to play because the rewards for the orders themselves aren't enough. Certain levels you have to buy power ups and even then it's not enough, you have to buy more moves, but the moves cost more acorns. It's a fantastic cash cow though.

I personally love the game. It's fun, addicting, and relaxing. The art style and animations for the characters are just adorable. But a few things I dislike about the game are the icon physics, the fact that there aren't many moves for each level, and the fact you kind of have to pay to win. What I meant by my first complaint is the fact that some icons will drop on skills, and the skills will just teleport 5 icons to the left or right. Normally it messes me up. Other than that, this game is fun

I just love this game! It's the perfect balance between addicting and just a little thing to pass time. I love all the pokemon and the cute art style. But one thing I would like, is if you can buy extra moves if you fail the 3 star challenge. I would miss one gimmick or get just a few points short, and I would like it if I could buy more moves during the, because I like to 100% things, and that would make it much easier. Overall it's a really nice game.

Surprisingly fun game with a adorable art style. Gameplay is pretty unique and not the basic match three or more pieces. Only problem is that the levels are too easy or way too hard. I managed to get to order 40 without losing a single life but after level 50, it took me 4-10 tries to beat a level. Whats most annoying to me though is the fact that they throw in some "new" mechanic to the game every handful of orders. Just makes the game too complicated too quickly. I recommend it though.

Update: As the game has had a major overall, it seems fitting that I should update my review as well. Unfortunately, I no longer feel like this game has the 5 star appeal it once did. Although the main gameplay hook is as solid as ever, the switch from hearts depleting once you've missed an order to the forced use of a revive to start an order feels scummy (and not even true to the item's normal use). The new levels don't feel different from the old ones, they're just in two parts now (which doesn't make them more difficult, just more...annoying?). The old levels are inaccessible once you've done them once--maybe as an attempt to hide how many of the 'new' levels are just re-skinned old ones. I also dislike the removal of any and all flavor text describing the items you serve, given that the whole theme of the game is that it's a café. Coupled alongside a 9 dollar game pass (that's essentially a 9 dollar [or more, if you level up your pass with acorns instead of stars] costume) and a slew of new menus that clutter the main screen, it definitely feels like ReMix has gone done a monetization route which unfortunately takes away from the appeal the game once had. Old Review: I've played through every order (through 150 on normal and 75 on master) and haven't had a major complaint yet. Levels are fair and mostly in order, I've never had to use items to beat a level and used extra moves maybe 5 times, so I still have 30K + acorns. This game is definitely not pay to win as of now, and the game is not pushy in that aspect. The biggest issue right now is occasional clipping (especially on levels with cheese) but it's manageable and somewhat rare.

Holy cow, what did Nintendo do to this game. I downloaded it the day it came out, cause it seemed like a fun passtime without breaking out an actual Pokemon game. But, without any heads up, it said "In order to play Version 2.0, you must download this update", I was like "No problem, they must have improved the team system and fixed a few bugs" but NO, this a completely new game Changes: New, useless gimmicks Premium plan Customers changing every order Easier 3-star dishes Oh yeah the Customers, you can't do one customer at a time and complete an order in one sitting, you still have a global order count, but each customer has their own order, and the customers change every order, ALL of them, from every section of the cafe. There is an option to shuffle the Customer Cards, but because it's a shuffle, you have a 1 in 10 chance of the customer you want to appear. This game is not that big of a challenge any more, every time you complete an order, it tells you that it looks good, then gives you a new puzzle and new objectives, if you complete them, it automatically gives you a 3-star dish which ruins the point of the game, which was to discover techniques and use the least amount of moves possible to create 3 star dishes and better profit. I have not encountered any of the new gimmicks yet, but in one of the cutscenes, I see some things I have not seen yet, along side the original gimmicks. 2/5, I will play it, but the look and feel has been altered like crazy.

I honestly love the relaxed, easy aspect of the game. A good time waster for sure. However, I don't like the fact you can not turn off the tutorial after it shows you the game mechanic (you just swirl your finger around, not difficult) and it continues into at least the first 20 minutes of the game... where it's blocking me from the ability to access the settings and turn off the repetitive music... because it's forcing us to use the tutorial.

The gameplay is good, aside from some frustrating levels and an occasional issue where the game presumingly thinks I've released my finger off while still making a combo. the game is very nice and relaxing. No money is needed to make progress although it helps. The game has no intrusive or forced ads which feels nice. Problem comes with the lack of updates with new content since I've nearly finished the game in 2 days. New events are fine overall, but updates need new content on top of bug fixes

Edit: happy I got my progress back but still annoyed with everything else. I really enjoyed this game until the recent update but I still enjoy how cute the art is. I lost all my progress, Pokémon and my team. Also, limiting how much you can play with the new stamina feature is annoying. Should have just left the game alone. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

It's cute and fun, but some parts of it feel very cash grabby. Like the paid monthly events. Also, after a certain point, the levels become extremely more difficult to the point where you need to activate bonuses to complete them with 1 star, let alone 3. I love the look of this game, but often opening it feels more like a chore than like fun. Also, since the latest update, during puzzles, the icons keep catching and getting stuck on themselves, causing me to lose my combos. Kind of annoying...

Love the art style! It's a really fun game for killing some time. Edit: I originally face this game a 5 star review but had to take back two stars because of the recent update. I've lost pretty much all of my original progress and now have to start from scratch. The new mechanic that makes you learn new recipes is an original idea that is great for new players, but frustrating for original players. Also the stamina bar is a terrible idea, unlike the unlimited play from before.

Early levels are easy and enjoyable, but as you progress the levels become more reliant on if you get good luck to even have a chance of clearing the stage. Later levels frequently have pieces get caught on each other which puts a strain on the limited move resources. Paying for items is almost required to complete later stages since it's basically random if any attempt could have a chance of even clearing the stage without them.

It's a really cute game, and surprisingly challenging. I have a suggestion and hope it'll be considered in future updates; some gimmicks, especially the whipped cream, is hard to distinguish from the Pokemon icons, and I often miss out on a few because I didn't notice. Maybe make the gimmicks more obvious, like a thicker outline. I also don't really like how an accidental single tap (when you end up selecting an icon) counts as a turn and wastes it. Maybe a link of one shouldn't count?

Only have about an hour of play in, but the beginning has been fun and the visuals are adorable. However, I do constantly worry that the linking mechanic will eventually result in a move not having the anticipated effect and wasting a turn. Another issue is that the game audio options are toggles and not sliders, making me choose between overpowering music or none at all. Still, the game is definitely worth a try for Pokémon fans, puzzle fans, and anyone who likes cute stuff.

So much better now that it's been redone! I play it all the time. I love the star system it's really hard now to just get stuck on a lvl forever. However, my gripe now, getting Pokémon from non team event's is very difficult, even with the 9$ premium pass. It's Very annoying when you spend 9$ on a game and don't get the end benefit or even close to it. The price shouldn't be this high or the benefits of purchasing it should be better. Other then that I love the remake :D

The game is fun and everything, but after completing the main game and moving to master mode, when an update occurs adding new levels and pokemon, theres an annoying pop up after everything you do!! Completing a level, opening the options, opening the game, EVERYTHING!! Not only that, it comes with an unskipable dialogue from Leah, and makes the game unenjoyable. Please fix this by making a button you can click instead of an annoying pop up.

This game is cute. Like really cute. But the events are incredibly grindy, difficult, and sometimes impossible. The deliveries have terrible luck, DLC is incredibly overpriced, and the main levels go from easy to ridiculously hard very quickly. The new game mode, Slow Cooking, is atrocious and should never have been added to the game. The game is cute though, and is good to play if you've got time on your hands to use.

Firstly, the art style is adorable & the game is overall amazing. The reason I rate it a 4 star is because of the challenges & the acorns. The challenges, especially the bingo card game, is so difficult to get the awards from. It is easier to do challenges if ur on a good, active team, but some of the challenges u have to be on a team like Scorbunny Spring so it's hard to play solo. Also, the acorns. U don't get enough of them when u need them. Each order gives u 60 acorns which is not fair.

Update 2: way too many cutscenes and events now. Ruined it. Original Review: This game is fun, adorable, and admittedly a little bit addictive. You can pay for more acorns to get through levels easier but with a little patience and perseverance you can absolutely get full enjoyment out of this game for free despite what others are saying. It is a very enjoyable little game. Update 1: It was a lot better before the big revamp from Cafe Mix to ReMix, so I took away a star, but still good.

This game has NO ADS and doesn't overly push in-app purchases. You can fully enjoy the game without a single microtransaction. Art style is cute, and the difficulty curve is well-balanced. The early levels are ridiculously easy, giving you a chance to get used to the game mechanics without getting frustrated. Unfortunately, the game often does not explain what items are for or how to use them, and many items seem pointless until you look up how to use them online.
