Nachdem ich zwischenzeitig auf Waze umgestiegen bin, und damit auch sehr zufrieden war, suchte ich vor etwa 2 Wochen wieder eine Alternative. Da ich mit POIbase einst zufrieden war, installierte ich es und kaufte ein Abo für ein Jahr: Machst'e ja nix falsch mit, dachte ich... Weit gefehlt. Die Geschwindigkeitsangaben sind vielerorts falsch. Ich wurde auf einer 100er-Streckenabschnitt der Autobahn vor einem 60er Blitzer gewarnt, auf der Angermunderstraße werde ich in 50er-Abschnitten auf Tempo 30 aufmerksam gemacht und irgendwie gelingt es mir auch nicht, das einfach zu korrigieren. Das Schlimmste aber: Wenn du der Route nicht korrekt folgst und versehentlich falsch abbiegst, ist die Navigation quasi stumm. Du musst schon irgendwo anhalten und die Route neu starten, oder zusehen, dass du irgendwie zurück zur eigentlichen Route findest, weil es keine automatische Neuberechnung gibt. So ist die App aktuell nicht wirklich hilfreich, wenn man sie als Navigations-App nutzen möchte. Auch die ständigen Aufforderungen, bitte aktuelles Kartenmaterial herunterzuladen, fühlen sich angesichts der zahlreichen, veralteten, Hinweise falsch an. Schade.

I've been using POIPlaza for years. Just now I realized it's gone, while I was referred to POIbase with the information that the POIs have been moved to POIbase and they can be accessed there. But, unfortunately, they cannot. E.g., there's not even one under Download POIs // POIplaza // Fixed speed cameras for the whole Czech Republic... And searching for speedcams on POIbase lead me to some "shop", rather than to download. It looks like that all the POIs (speedcams) people themselves had been adding to POIPlaza for years in the "community" sense, have been taken from them to be made a source of profit for POIbase? That's quite sad...

Not very accurate and relies too much on user input. I have more interesting things to do and there are other better apps.

Terrible! Routing is imprecise, voice messages are a nightmare, failed many times on signalling cameras. Waiting to receive back my money. Thanks Kindest regards Adriana Fennell

i prefer one time only subscription for all or for much longer period... I was intending to use for camping sites, atm, gasoline stations and supermarkets but all filtered by owner name... Unfortunately not valid or demand for permanent subscriptions...

I think this is a useful app . I think this app needs an option to have a continuous or repeating sound that continues to make the sound while the driver remains above the speed limit. This would improve this app further.

It's very good. Tried all the others and prefer this. Just a couple of niggles though. Distance is always in kilometre. English voice is horrible, Deutsch is much nicer. Entering location is a bit of a chore as o is not very intuitive. It works but not so easy.

Links to TomTom GO mobile on my old phone (Android 8.1.0) but not on new phone (Android 12). Old phone shows 13 options for External navigation, new phone only Maps and POIbase. Is this an Android 12 limitation and can a workaround be provided ? Was a very useful feature, especially as TomTom no longer provides support for own pois. I hope you can fix this.

The app wont even do as described. wont even start automatically and run in the background, tried all settings. What a waste of money! Edit:2 years and 5 months later,still no improvement.Widget sometimes starts but there wont be any activity,not even speed .At times I have stop and start it manually,this way one out of 5 times it will work.Rubbish.
