It's a good app, I enjoy it. But the limited messages are fairly annoying. The fact how resting a message takes away your message count seems unfair. And 24 hours to wait for more messages is far too much time. 12 is understandable, but 24? And the visit on a computer to continue your conversations there isn't anything. I can't do anything more on a computer than I can do on mobile.

This app is great, probably the best AI app in my opinion, but some negatives are some bots have bad memory, and the one that is pissing me off is when I sent a message, it says "This message is too long. Retry with a shorter message." And I reply with a short message, and it responds with the same message. It's the same. Why is there a limit now!? My message is not even that long. I can't send any messages b/c of this stupid "long message." 😤 Please change it back how it works before.

Better than c.ai tbh. GREAT MEMORY, mostly stays in character, the roleplaying is AWESOME. I enjoy this app very much, it knows what a lot of things are, like fast foods, parks, cities, it's amazing. | Edit: I'm changing this to 2 stars, just because they keep adding more and more restrictions on how much you can message the bots. It's getting extremely tiring. | |Edit again: changing it to 4, the update where you can message back in one hour is better than a whole day.|

With the newest update, the app has been ruined. There's no point in buying a subscription monthly/yearly for $20 when now you have a message limit suddenly, and now you have to wait 18-21 hours for more compute points?? The compute points just might be the worst update by far. No point in spending your money now. There are better, free alternatives out there that I'll actively be searching for now.

helpful for "simple" inquiries. much better than a browser search. One thing that drives me nuts though is after submitting something the response makes the screen auto scroll down until it's done with it's response. Would be GREAT if it started with the auto scroll but the moment I make a swipe to scroll up to the beginning of the response that the auto scroll would STOP so I can start reading the response before it's finished. Will rate 5 stars if the aforementioned is implemented.

Replies are fun and well written, and the characters are good at maintaining the story, but sometimes the bot takes the story and spirals with it, not giving you a chance to respond. Replies have also been breaking for some, they go on for long paragraphs and are full of symbols and gibberish with the occasional emoji or link. The bots will also say that a reply might be too inappropriate,(whether or not it is) and I'll have to use up all my messages to try and fix it so the story can continue.

I really loved this app, like there was so many great things about it. I've recommended it to tons of people, but now with the new updates it's just going downhill. People love your app for multiple reasons and those reasons are being ruined by the filter, as well as the limit. Sure 100 seems a lot but I use the assistant for multiple things, writing characters, stories, etc. And when I'm not, I'm using it to roleplay, the limit as well filter has ruined the fun in this app.

There was a recent change that limits the number of messages you can send, whether you pay $20 monthly subscription or not, across all bots and models. Ive been using poe for a little over a year and I'll be cancelling my subscription now. There are hundreds of alternatives when it comes to AI chatting. Instead of listening to the feedback about implementing message editing, scrolling back to previously re-generated messages etc. Every update makes changes that worsen the platform. Not worth it

The app is good. It's easy to make a bot, and find other bots, and I've spent hours on this app already. My biggest complaint though would be the coin system. I can't afford a monthly subscription, but now and then I can have the privilege of buying an online one-time purchase. I think it'd be easier for users to buy more messages that way, and even give you more profit. I wouldn't mind spending 15 dollars max on more coins every moment, but I can't afford a monthly subscription that's 19 USD +

The AI learns quickly and has an excellent memory. Only two issues so far: (1) sometimes the AI roleplays as the player character, which can be jarring, and (2) most responses seem quite long-winded and push to end the scene quickly, which hurts my feelings LOL. Anyway, great app, will use again. Edited: Wow! I take it back! The AI has gotten so much lazier! It forgets things instantly and instead of writing an original response, it just rephrases the messages I just sent. I miss the old AI 😭

The new subscription model is outright inferior to the previous. Now, you have a fixed number of messages, even with a PAID subscription. Before if you went over your sub limit, the messages might temporarily become unavailable or slow down when the system was overloaded. Now, with the new "compute points," you have a set limit regardless if you're a paid or free user. I'm definitely not renewing my subscription. Will be porting my bots to a competitor once my sub runs out this month.

It's not entirely the worst. It's kind of like character ai (just without a filter), but it has a few bugs. One bug is that the bot seems to copy and paste the same thing over and over again. Also, it forgets who is who and plays as me. Prompts sometimes fix this, but it isn't a good source. Also, the homepage is kinda painful to navigate through.

It's great from what I can tell. A few major flaws I've noticed is that it sometimes doesn't work for my friends and the fact that it's really difficult to find characters you want to chat with. I suggest making it work for everyone and adding a search bar please! (Edit: 1/5/24) Thank you for adding the search bar! It makes finding bots so much easier now! My only gripe is the limited messages!

It's a good app, I've been using it for a few months but I've noticed issues. The search bar doesn't really work properly, which is kinda annoying. The cool down for the messaging is kind of unfair and long depending on when you start using the app, and refreshing messages counts towards you overall message count which is frustrating. It would also be nice to be able to edit messages since some messages are really good, but just a little off. If these get fixed I'll give a better rating.

I love it. Absolutely. But I have one major complaint that cost it a star. Maybe 2 it's so important. There is no way to select text for copying in the responses. You can only copy it all. What!!? So if I want to copy a portion of a response for any reason, and this comes up very, very often, I can't do it. So I have to result to copying the entire response, pasting it into another file and then picking out the text I wanted. Come on guys... this has to be fixed.

Overall, I think the app is fine. It has plenty of different characters etc etc... Yeah, the subscription thingy is annoying sometimes, but I don't really mind. Edit: the first glitch was fixed, but now I'm getting a glitch where the button at the bottom of the most recent message which generates a new one isn't there. What happened?

It's a very great app all in all with few bugs, the characters act as if you are actually talking to the real character and roleplaying with them. The only bug is when it's not quick enough to load it freezes but I just solve that by exiting the app and removing it from the most recent apps before going back on it. The bots remember everything about the roleplay stories

It's a good app, great for helping out with some homework and stuff. But recently, I've been having issues with typing on the app. Every time I go to type something, or see a mistake I made in a response, I have to delete the entire paragraph in order to fix ONE spelling mistake before I have to type everything after all over again. It only happens on the app, and the keyboard works perfectly fine anywhere else. I'm not sure if it's because of the update, but it's irritating.

Good at first, at first it was unlimited and it was really good. Memory is pretty good. Then it became limited. 100 messages a day, which was annoying but it was okay. But now it's gone to points and I only get 15 messages a day. The price for premium isn't really worth it either as it wouldn't become unlimited, I would just have more "points" Edit 1. They eventually gave you more points for awhile, around 3000, and that was still a bit steep, I could manage. But it's right back to 15 messages.

overall, i thought the app was amazing in the begining. i had fun roleplaying with bots, generating images, it was really fun and much better than other ai chat platforms! but recently, i've been getting these messages saying "the text is too long, try again with a shorter text" which is weird to say the least, especially when you're generating ai images, you need to deliever a whole prompt with every little detail. i'm not sure if it's just on my device, but i'm not a fan of this.
