Only works if you pay for it! You only get 3 free pics to identify every 12 hours. If the initial identifier is wrong and you have to retake a picture then you use up another "take". I also have to mention that once you use up your 3 takes the ad to upgrade to premium constantly pops up. I took a picture of a plant in my garden and it was not the correct plant that the app said it was(pretty sure I did not plant a Russian olive tree in my front yard). Deleting it today. Everything costs on app!

It's pretty decent, watering reminder is saving me. Plant I.D. can be very off. Needs ability to snap a photo, name the plant cuz I know what it is & at minimum be able to schedule watering n other stuff. A notes section so you can look up your own necessary info and type it in. App still can't i.d. my string of Turtles, can't schedule watering if it's not there. 2 diff. Kinds of a plant? If not recognized, let me add in the second or third one with my own photo n notes. Soon! Please.

Disappointed..The app is terrible at identifying plants. The only reason I got it and it doesn't work. It theoretically has some awesome features but if they don't work then it's a clear waste of money. And there is a free trial but to access all the features you do have to pay for a subscription and without it actually working it's not worth the money!

I love the app, I hate that my data keeps getting erased. I pay for the premium account, I absolutely loved it for the first year. Now my plants have been erased twice. With over 62 plants in my house it becomes exhausting having to re setup the app. I've emailed NatureID the pervious time this happened as everything was backed up, I never heard from them. I want to love this app like I did for the first year I had it with everything set up.

The app is very inaccurate. Couldn't recognize my plants, and the few times it did get the plant right, it was very vague. Example: I have 4 different types of squash and although it identified it as a species it did not name there specific type. Also, when attempting to identify problems it gave a very vague answer. It gave the same exact problem with each of the plants. Abiotic seems to be the go to plant problem. Just not accurate enough for me. If it were it would be a great app.

Good for beginners. The diagnose tab seems pretty generic. I wish it gave a more specific overview. If you are using this to identify insects, forget it. Everything comes back as a blister beetle (even the lady bug I scanned). I had this for a few years, was helpful to get started with gardening but I do not plan to renew my subscription.

App does not work very well. Screen locks up and doesn't show results unless you click "add plant". Worked once but then locked and started locked. I'll try an uninstall and install to see if it corrects. Reinstalled and it works fine. Checked a few knowns sand results accurate. I purchased a lifetime subscription but I'm having a problem activating it.

I downloaded this app to check it out. Of course there is a subscription like I expected. Weekly plan is 4.99. Yearly is 14.99 then they have option for a free trial. So if you opt in for the free trial the yearly price then turns into 19.99. So its not really free. Your paying for a week extra but getting 3 days. Uninstalling because clearly they are trying to rip you off.

Doesn't work. And if you manage to get it to work - ITS NOT FREE!! There is a free trial and unless you purchase you can't use... it's a bait & switch. ** They are bragging about being the choice of 10M+ users but have a useless app. It opens to the main screen and then stops... this makes me wonder if it's an info copying app instead.

The plant ID doesn't work the best, it struggled with 2 plants of mine, but those have multiple varieties that look similar so I get the confusion to an extent. This app does other things well however, you can add plants, give them nicknames, update pictures. There's several schedule options so that you can set reminders for water, misting, fertilizing, etc. The app can give you recommendations on care. There's also a troubleshoot option and a contact an expert that I have not utilized yet.

I realize this is still in testing, but I can't do one thing with it. Is it not compatible with Android devices? I get an opening screen and that is all. Nothing clickable or swipe-able. And now to top it off, I get 4-5 reminders a day to complete my information from an app that is completely frozen. Total fail. Please provide some assistance. And DO NOT tell me to restart the app or my phone. I've tried it all.

Pretty ticked that there's nothing in the description to say that this is a trial only (you can take only 4 pictures!). Not surprised that there's a subscription, but figured it would be for premium features, while certain basic functionality would still be available for free. On top of all that you can pay $4.99 a week (yes, that's right... per week!) or $14.99/year. Or you can do a 3 day (yes, 3 DAY!) trial, after which the annual price goes to $19.99. What?! Absurd!

Seems like a good app...was reasonably correct, but I couldn't get past the trial. I had it installed maybe 10 minutes. I took just a few pictures and got a popup to leave a review two times during that period and a popup to buy it two times during that period. Then it stopped working. The app says there's a free 3 day trial, but after a certain amount of time or a certain amount of pictures it cuts you off for several hours. It's hard to get a good feel for an app after so little time. Super frustrating. There is no way I would pay for this app after that. Also, I will buy an app outright, but I will not pay a monthly or yearly fee just to be able to use something for a little while. No thanks. Uninstalled.

Overall the experience is good the amount of pictures is different. However, I noticed that it does give you an amount of time to wait to gain an extra picture for more plants to be identified it could be useful in someways and hard in others so it's a give and take situation. Overall it's something I can work with and work around. I have noticed that one of my plants has been hard for the app to identify. But it also isn't doing too good either and was hoping the app would've been able to help

Was excited at the options it would seem to have so I purchased it at installation instead of using the trial. Biggest complaint is the lack of listed species. It's useful, tricky to understand or set reminders, good tips of care although mostly YouTube links rather than developer instructions, no variety options if you have multiple colors/types, no option of adding species not listed. Overall, it's not bad but I wish I hadn't paid for it and will not renew.

I signed up for the annual subscription because it was cheaper than doing a free trial and then getting charged. I had high hopes of accurate identification and diagnosis, but after spending a couple hours in the app, it doesn't work as I'd hoped. It doesn't identify all of my basic house plants. Also, depending on the angles, it would tell me the same plant was both healthy and unhealthy. A small plant, so all angles captured the entire plant. I'd like a full refund since it's the same day.

Update: I did receive a quick full refund, since it was less than 48hrs since I subscribed. I was so excited with the presentation of the app, that I skipped the free trial and purchased it at the yearly price of 19.99, which was a reasonable price compared to most apps, and now I see it's only 14.99. I have tried to take pictures of my plants with the app, and keep getting the message that it's too small to identify . No matter how many different angles. It should be much easier.

It's a very helpful app. It talks educates about rocks🪨, bugs🐝, and mushrooms🍄 It also helps with being a better plant parent🪷 Especially since I'm not one to have a green thumb👍🏻 The subscription is the only minor issue at the moment and it doesn't give you an option If you'd like to do the monthly or yearly after trying the 3-day free trial like it does when you're setting your information up🫤 it'll just automatically take the funds out with no option after the free trial😣

There are a few issues with this app. I used the watering calculator & it says to water a 6x4 pot 12.5 oz every 6 wks. Seems a little excessive for a drought living plant and the water will mostly run out of the pot. Although the app identifies the plants correctly, it gives the same care suggestions for every plant. I can find better care instructions on the internet. Lastly, if I use my phone's photo gallery, it tells me the image is too small. No info on type and size of image required.

Not sure if this is a really new app or what but the bug identifier definitely does not work. I took a picture of a June bug more then once and it said it was a scorpion then it said it was a dragonfly. I like how it tells you how to get you plant back to healthy. But I had an app that did that. I got this on to identify bugs and rocks for grandson. Need to fix that and this app will be GREAT!
