Very FUNctional! It's like playing a game, planning my garden and continuing to revise and revise without having to erase all over a page. I love how it highlights good companion planting as well as problem pairs in an instant! And if you delve, there are so many good features, like being able to select from many different varieties of tomato, for example, or basil! You can even put in your own plants with all the information to go with them if you grow something more unusual. Fantastic.

when I added my 2nd and 3rd plants to the garden, 2 more appeared at the other end of the bed and it wont let me delete them. update: the bug is fixed, so I bought the full version. but it lacks variety. one example being that artichokes aren't on there. and you can change the amount per square either if you dont like the preset quantity. it would also be nice to be able to add nametags since I grow different types of "hot pepper" and "cherry tomato"

This app is great! I was able to get the beds organized as I wanted and the combative feature was really helpful in organizing them. I'm still exploring so this may already exist, but I'd love to be able to create a to do list/to do calendar for tasks related to the garden. So far I'm saving planting and harvesting dates in the notes section for each bed but I'd love to be able to see them on a calendar and all tasks for all the beds on one calendar. Worth the cost for premium!

This app is truly fantastic. It's a lot of information and planning literally at your fingertips. You can set your planting zone and get information specific to you. There are different varieties of plants to choose from and spacing is set, calendar tracking. It's got everything The subscription price point is actually really nice. I don't know why people complain and call the developers greedy. You pay more for a monthly subscription to Netlflix than you for this app for a whole year.

Helpful for organizing my small garden to maximize space with companion planting. One suggestion: I desperately wish I could temporarily drop plants outside my garden, so that I can rearrange without constantly having to delete and re-add plants. The current system is very clunky and slows down the most useful feature (testing different arrangements for companion planting).

LOVE IT!!! Great app for gardeners of any level and they are asking for user opinions and LISTENING TO US!!! Lots of plants and with a little imagination, you can manipulate it to design your entire yard. Totally worth the money for a yearly subscription. I'm able to map out my ideas and it tells me if some plants are not compatible to be planted next to each other.

Informative and helpful planning tool for veggie gardens. I used it a few times free with no issues and plotted a small sectionof my garden. Considering a lifetime membership so I can plot out the whole thingšŸ˜. I saw reviews about using it on their computer. I'm going to try that and see if it's easier with a big screen and mouse.

Good: documents what you planted in each garden. Bad: takes a lot of time to set up each plot. Good: tells you if plants are combative or supportive to one another. Bad: after you set up the garden it doesn't recommend what to plant the following year (The reason I have been searching for a gardening app). Overall, it's about 50% sa for in being a perfect app for me. I have had crash issues but the developers are AMAZINGLY quick at resolving them. Would be nice to add recommend following year plants to rotate the garden crops.

I agree with Becky. It needs a fall planting schedule. Also once you choose a 4x4 garden there is no way to change it if you add another section. Update: The ability to edit the garden size has been added, but still need the ability to plan a fall garden. Here in zone 8, there are many plants that do better in the fall and won't grow in the spring because the temperature goes from cool to hot very quickly.

Great app. I like the clean design and the new companion planting functionality. I would love to be able to document my garden's progress over the season with photos and notes, basically a garden journal built into the app. It would also be helpful to know what fertilizers certain veggies prefer and how much they need (like high nitrogen ferts for leafy greens). And it would be great to be able to change garden bed size by dragging with a finger to the side/up/down directly on .y beds.

I keep being surprised by how much solid information this app has to offer. I'm new to gardening and wanted an easy way to plan my first bed. Not only did I find an easy way to plan, but also a plethora of information I hadn't even considered (like what plants work well together and which dont, exactly what pests to watch out for, and the good bugs you want to stick around). Overall very thorough and user friendly! Highly recommend.

This app has everything you could need to know. It is so helpful in terms of when to plant, what to plant beside each other/what not to plant, pests, & the list goes on. I paid for the lifetime subscription & unlocked even more cool features like notes & color coding options. My only complaint: I got a new phone. My subscription to the app did transfer, but I lost everything & had to build my garden again. Maybe it does transfer, but I could not figure it out & had to start over.

It is great for laying out your garden and it showing you when something is a companion or if it is a competitor, theres a big variety of options on there but do wish there was more. I wish it would show an overall layout with all of mine in one or just a way i can we what i put where instead of opening every "garden" i have. So great for small garden or even pretty big decent ones.

Overall great app to help plan my garden. I do wish there was the ability to add plants or varieties not listed, and add more specific info from my own research like companion or combative. Also having somewhere to enter in soil quality and a marker denoting whether a plant would grow well in my local soil. Otherwise, I am finding this app incredibly useful!

This has some great data, esp when to grow inside, transplant or sow outside. Unfortunately the garden building tool is weak and setting favorites vs variety favorites isn't optimized Update: 4/11 +2ā I went and looked at a bunch of other growing, gardening and plant apps, and have discovered that this one is the best. There's still some issues but it's miles ahead of any of the other apps out there

Absolutely invaluable for planning square-foot gardens, and just keeps getting better with every update. The new "Seed Box" is a terrific addition. The only thing I'd add is the ability to plan in 3D -- or at least in "layers," for those of us with vertical gardens. Otherwise, this is one app I'm _happy_ to pay for, and I look forward to using for many seasons to come.

Fun little tool to help layout and plan a garden. But no tools to help you once it's planted. No reminders, no events, not many choices for flowers, no explanation for all the buttons on the screen (or if there were at first install, I missed them. Some buttons don't seem to do anything. Controls/navigation are not intuitive, very frustrating to get the hang of. Good for getting an idea of square foot gardening design, but that's all.

Works great for veggie garden planning. Lots of useful info. Really appreciate you can buy it once and it doesn't require a monthly subscription like most similar apps. My one critique is the website/app gets a little slow with larger gardens even on the newest mobile devices or a fast desktop computer.

This app provides so much great and useful information, I decided to purchase the lifetime use of the app. The layout of the plants is in squares (maybe that can be changed?), which was helpful to me because I am doing square foot gardening. As I was putting in my vegetable and herb garden plan, the app showed right away what plants are not compatible with each other and which plants are companion plants. You select the variety of each plant, and it gives a TON of info on each plant.

Nice app, fairly straightforward. Spendyish. I dont understand the seed packets. Its nice to have an inventory, but I want to use my seed list to plan my garden. Right now its just a list and the packet cards are a bit confusing and cumbersome to use. The little bent corner looks like it should be clickable. And it feels really redundant after I took the time to enter my seeds, now im repeating that w/ planting planning.
