I pay for premium so I do love this app! Some features I think would improve the experience (atleast for me) are: - the ability to edit where in the room the plant is -the option to us the "light meter" and then assign the number it gives you to theplant in that area -the option to add that the plant has been propagated (I haven't seen this but I may have missed it)

it's like if the plants were able to get mad at the bartender that hasn't brought a glass of water. so far the app has been very helpful at describing what and how to do it, which is especially useful for plants I'm not familiar with. setting everything up takes time but it's a one time job. the misting and fertilizer schedule is too often IMO but I'm sure Plant knows more than I (after all, I have a record of killing plants 😵)

Ok. I was able to customize the room names based on the response from the developer. I was able to do all the things I was complaing about. I would just recommend to the developer they try to add a tutorial. Also, more plant types/varieties or the ability to add the exact scientific name (with appropriate recommendations on care etc.) It's easier than ever to find unusual varieties of plants.

I really love this app. I use it for reminders to water my houseplants, and the ability to set the pot type and location in my home seems to affect the watering schedule which is super helpful. I did subtract a star because I would love to subscribe to premium for the additional features such as the fertilizer reminder, but it's far too expensive for what the app provides. I would consider premium at maybe $0.99 a month, but absolutely not at $7.99 a month.

so far, its okay. One feature I would suggest adding is allowing to transfer a plant to another user defined location. **edit** thank you. I found it. The settings gear icon you pointed me to was actually very hard to see. It is a dark green color and it sits over the photo of the plant, which happens to also be dark green. I completely did not see this button. Suggestion, give it a white outline, on some plant photos it is almost invisible currently.

Not super impressed. While the idea behind the app is super great, the application leaves a lot to be desired. I can't adjust the water schedule or mark that I've had to water my wilting plants that show 20 days till next watering. The lighting options don't consider which direction the window faces and it's absurd to think the entire room gets the same amount light. Unwilling to pay to see if it's better, since it's mid at best for free

Its good, but the dr. planta function is very basic and only identifies plants as underwatered/ overwatered most of the time. The app could really use an option to categorize plants by their family despite their "sites". For example all my orchids should be in one group but different locations since not all of them are in the "backyard". The watering/fertilizing also seems inconsistant for some plants that go into dormancy.

I love this app, and it helps me so much to care for my plants. I have been thinking that it could really help me so much more if I could filter through my plants by things like lighting needs and water needs though. For example, being able to just see a list of my plants that need full sun, or do well in low light, to help me with placing them on my shelves better. I hope the developers will consider it :) thank you for such a great app.

I bought the app upgrade but it is a awesome without it too. You can add plants, assign them to different sites, and track their progress with pictures and notes that are automatically dated for free! The app sends you notifications for watering plants but you can snooze it if your plants are still wet! I do think it would be nice if they added a section within the water tracker to track top or bottom watered. The option to add multiple windows/light sources to a site would be beneficial as well

I really like the sleek design of the app. The cropping of my pictures makes it hard to take good progress photos, especially for tall plants. I'd like to be able to add the number of windows and direction of the windows to my sites/rooms.

Plants fall in several categories for watering. Top 2 in dry, consistently moist, completely dry out, etc. This information should be on the watering reminder. You have to go to the plant information to figure it out. On some plants, it doesn't explain which of those categories. Also, I have the settings to fertilize when watering. I get a separate reminder for each. Another feature this app should offer is to pick preferred watering day. I have 23 plants and get reminders every day.

Edit 5/2/24: Amended my review to 5 stars. I figured it out-- need to set fertilizer type to "don't remind..." in order for option to adjust fertilizer schedule to appear under custom care. App functionality is great, but better documentation would be helpful. Also, a strange bug I noticed is that when I add a photo and set it to private before hitting save, the photo inevitably sets to public and I have to re-set it to private. It would be nice to have a default option to not share photos.

This app is really awesome. I love being able to track the proper watering and progress of all my plants. Having all the pictures I take in one place is cool. As a suggestion, I think it would be awesome if they implemented more filters when viewing my list of plants. Like filtering by type of plant, plants that have a heat warning for my area, plants that don't do well below a certain temperature, etc. Just a suggestion, but these guys get 5 stars from me! I use this app every day.

I love this app so much, it's so helpful! I just wish there was a way to mark a plant as a start that needs different care than a full grown plant. I love adding my starts so I can keep track of their growth and take pictures all on one place. But I don't fertilize starts that are sitting in water so it'd be nic to like... temporarily turn that off until the plant is mature enough to handle it. Otherwise: absolutely fantastic app 🤩

I've really been enjoying this app as I've become a new plant Maniac. I went from having two little plants, to six, then to 14. This helps a lot, by sending me notifications of when to water, check on plants, fertilize, clean, etc. Takes a minute to learn how to navigate, but once you know how to navigate it, it's super easy.

Love this app! I've been using it for years and it's only gotten better. It's great way to know what to do when. The plant identifier feature is also very accurate -I can't remember the last time it didn't know the plant. I do wish there was a way to schedule tasks (especially repotting), but at least you can add additional tasks. It's absolutely worth doing the subscription. When I started using Planta I couldn't keep anything alive, now I have over 40 plants, some going on 3 years old!

I REALLY like the app!! It has what I was ultimately looking for: a digital, easy to navigate, comprehensive, detailed source of information on the plants I have. I was astonished that it had all of the information I wanted to know in one place. I'm a pretty cheap person and I considered premium in the first place because the app was so great! I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND to friends/family to pay for Premium.

okay yeah, this is a great app. I thought I didn't need a plant app. But I guess I spend a lot of time repeatedly looking up plants to see their technical names and temperature tolerance and stuff. And I love that you can keep photos of all your plants, it will be cool to look back on their progression all in one place. And the free version doesn't feel restrictive at all.

I like this app. It does give you lots of information on different plants. However, I agree that the direction of the window makes a HUGE difference. Also, I cannot change my location regardless of what I do!!! I no longer live in that particular town, and the app won't change the location!! Yes, I have permissions on, and yes, I have specific location on, and yes I've even deleted and reinstalled it!!!! Nothing. So I have to ignore most of what it recommends and just sorta wing it

Love the new beta visual refresh and the indicator of what tasks have been completed. I'm constantly watering some plants but forgetting to mark them watered until the next day, and I find the process to update the task completion date a bit cumbersome. I would love a press-and-hold action on the checkbox for "Mark completed yesterday" or even a configurable setting for a long press-and-hold to allow customization but still maintaining a clean user interface. Also, a quick undo action as well.
