The calendar view isn't bad but I prefered the task list, it would've been nice if I could choose between the task list and the calendar... Also I can't use manual photos anymore it gives me a "No internet connection" error for some reason. Even when I use the camera to identify the plants it doesn't use the picture..

Certainly the most accurate plant identification tool that I've tried. The plant health suggestions so far have been spot on. This app has given me a reason for wanting to keep the "dumb" phone as there seems little other useful reason for me to want it.

Someone said the non-premium version was so good you couldn't tell it wasn't paid for but I wasn't even able to get to a free version. I took a chance and it told me I was either watering it to much or using fertilizer wrong or it was in the wrong climate (it's native) or it's going into dormancy. Don't waste your time or money

I tried to find where to cancel Ling before trial was up and couldn't find it. so you charged me for a month without me wanting it. I asked for a reminder and you said I would get one but I never did. I think of these companies as shady. if you can't put an easy way.to cancel.or call you then you should be a site

I loved it before the update, made it easier to know what plants I had missed a watering or fertilizing when the plants stayed on the list and you could tell if you had completed it. Now I find it frustrating as it just has plants on a day but you can't tell if you watered them or not in the app. I'm a busy mom so the app saved my plants before the update, I used to recomend the app to all my friends and family who had plants now... it's just frustrating and not user friendly

Best plant identification and diagnosis app out there, the premium is entirely optional unlike many others on the market. Sure, the identification is not 100% correct, but you could just repeat it to make sure it got it right. The diagnosis is a little janky, sometimes say the plant is healthy despite clear sick part shown in pictures, but it's way better than nothing at all, and it's free, can't really complain about something that's free

Misleading. They said it was free, it's not. They'll prompt you to a free trial period of one week with a choice of payment (weekly/monthly/yearly). The price is not too expensive but, since it was made very evident in their advertisement that it was a free app (as a strong point), I felt coerced before even trying the app. Purely for this reason, I didn't even bother to check if it would work and uninstalled it before giving them any permissions.

Even if you change the frequency of when to water, the app won't update. If you snooze the watering, it will still prompt you from the original day of watering instead of acknowledging that it needs to be based on the day it was watered. I will not be renewing my membership if this isn't integrated. What is the point of watering reminders if it doesn't work?

Wasnt affordable. Looks like an app for someone with $$$$ who needs reminders??? Bright colors, big font, Pleasant to look at. Very scientific. Overwhelming. Made me feel like I am a dummy at everything green outdoors. Experience tells me I'm not THAT novice. Was looking for a layout app that would help me put plants in their best location based on my front and back yard...

I'm using the free version to test functionality before I elect to procure a premium subscription. More stars if the FIRST 2 screens shown upon download and open weren't trying to FORCE the premium service. It's rude when apps try to force a subscription before the potential user ever sees the app homescreen and has the opportunity to test functionality. You lose business with your current method of pushing premium services. Even worse, you intentionally camouflage the "X" on the premium adds.

I signed up for the free trial, I liked the app, so agreed to pay for it monthly to continue trying it out. I have just noticed that you took the whole yearly fee back in March, which I would not have done. I have since cancelled the app, thinking I would no longer be paying for it (not realising I already had). Really bad practice - Avoid.

Not sure how I feel about it as a whole just yet it's got pros and cons. The light meter is a bit off I think but my main annoyance is the app doesn't work without wifi. I went to the plant store to pick plants best suited for my space using the app but couldn't because it lost connection. Update. App told me to water certain plants every day. Ended up over watering them and they died. Check the frequency and it says water every 7 days but reminders are still saying 1 and won't change.

It's a very detailed plant care and informative educational app for anyone that enjoys plants trees and shrubs and all other landscape and nature's plants. It is a little hard to figure out certain parts of it's benefits of having that I can use even with the free services. But it is a very good app to have if you love anything to do with horticulture.

I went ahead and got the premium version thinking the app would have a lot more functionality. So far while I have appreciated the app, I don't see much benefit that I wouldn't have gotten with the free version. What I would love to see is an overhaul of the notifications (notify WHICH plant needs WHAT separately), some wigets (maybe a watering schedule to review outside of the app), a more comprehensive database of plants (including more alternative names), and more specific plant care guides.

It's one of the best reminder apps I've seen with the most utilities available for free. That being said, the biggest downside is that there is a bug where if you have a watering schedule set to recommended, it will always default to every 4 days, no matter what the recommended time is, PLEASE FIX THIS BUG,, it's quite annoying.

I didn't realize it's a trial until after downloading. Tried everything to un subscribe before they charge, but impossible because doesn't show as a subscription on my phone. I feel scammed and afraid if being charged before getting it unsubscribed. I would like someone to contact me about getting this done. I contacted Google and they couldn't help either! I gave 1 star cause I had to.

All in all, I like the idea of this app. Much of the content is quite informative, but I do not trust the watering schedules any longer. So, pre-app, I had this gorgeous African violet that was growing more vigorously than any I'd ever had before, and it bloomed like mad. Fabulous. But the app had me watering it every few days instead of only when it was dry, and now it is an anemic little plant with rotting leaves that never blooms at all. I am worried that I'm going to lose it soon.

I really want to like this app. It lets you take pictures and diagnose, assign room placement, gives instructions on how to care. But I can't change the the schedule for when MY plant needs to be watered (the option is there but it doesn't save). Neither can I make changes to unexpected care. So, the timer is always off and will always be off. Without this bug being fixed and this function being added my notifications are always incorrect and without accurate reminders, how can the app help me?

I only did the free week trial, so maybe I need more time with it. I love being able to quickly capture and track all of my plants. However, I can't mark when I actually watered or fertilized them, so the schedule is off. I had some sick plants diagnosed, but after leaving the app and coming back, I can't click back into the diagnosis information. I have to retake the photos. Also, it keeps telling me that one of my plants is just old and dying naturally... but it's a new plant from a clipping!

New update sucks. In the past if the watering reminder comes up but if the soil was still moist I could leave the reminder unchecked but still see it until the plants needed water. Then I'd mark it off. Now, if I don't water/fertilize ON THE DATE the app says so, it automatically marks it as done.I have 18 indoor/outdoor plants and I'm not going to go in manually to reconfigure each one every time this happens. Uninstalling and finding a new and better plant care app now.
