kinda useless if you don't know much about your plants. I was hoping to learn more about my plants and each of their unique needs but I found that I had to figure out everything myself then set timers via the app? We can do that in calenders... photo identifying apps will help you out more than this one, for sure.

I really didn't like that I needed to set up a subscription (albeit free for 3 days) in order try this app. I will forget you cancel, it brings faffing about to cancelling it and don't want to end up paying by default, so haven't tried it. I would review this, it will put people off for sure

I absolutely adore this app! You may configure it to remind you at a specified time during the day, which is ideal for forgetful persons who want to take care of their plants! It's also packed with useful information, and it's taught me a lot about my plants, including species and watering schedules, that I didn't know before.

At first I tried the free version of the app, but the photos kept getting deleted and I have multiples of the same plants. After I bought it, the reminders started going off never for some plants and all the time for others. My snake plants almost died before I caught on. 🙄

Demands a 4$ a month subscription to do more than "watering" option. Would've been great, let's you select plants without pictures or inputting your own names, but a subscription to a watering app is ridiculous. I would pay a one time fee but 48$ a year is not an option

I gave it 3 stars cause it is a calender/alarm clock like it says and has a few pre-populated plants in it. But it doesn't give any useful info about the plants and when to water asnd fertilize, you have to add it all in yourself. This app is only good for people who know their plants and know exactly what they need and when. I think they should write that in the description.

I really, really like this app; however, I have a couple of issues with it. I have my plants on a recurring watering schedule. One of my plants keeps appearing every single day even though I have it set to 5 days. I have to delete the plant and start all over again to get it back on the appropriate schedule. It has happened to several of my plants...not all of them. Also, my plant pictures disappeared one day for over half of my plants. I had to re-take all of the photos. It was a hassle.

I would not suggest this app I unless you want to pay for it because you only get two options for free the rest of the app you have to pay for now I might seem like I'm being a cheapskate but I don't feel like pay a month subscription for such a simple app how ever if you are looking for a grow journal I have had great success with Jane it let's me do everything that I can do with the paid version of Plantiary and a lot more.

So this is an updated review. I love the app, however I applied for the premium account but I haven't been able to access it. Whenever I try to it says sign up for premium and when I try to do it it says I already have that subscription. Old review:: ( I sorted this out by uninstalling then reinstalling the app) I have liked this app and it has always been helpful. But recently I noticed that it has been giving me the same reminder for days. What is going on???

No where did it mention that this was a free 3 day trial before you had to pay 6.99 monthly. They make you register for the free trial a d provide credit card information before you even have a chance to test out the app to see it's features or anything.

It's abiotic! Abiotic issue possibly including: too little h2o, too much h2o, uneven h2o, too little light, too much light, nutrient issues including too little or too much nutrients and so on and so forth. I didn't expect the app to work miracles, but every single plant I have identified (even the healthy ones) registers as may having disease. Then I go to diagnose and, you guessed it, supremely nonspecific abiotic illness including every factor that could possibly affect a plant.

It's a shame, this would be the best app for plant care if there wasn't an outrageous amount of ads--to the point that it's not worth using and I have uninstalled. A one time fee of even a few dollars to just remove ads would be appropriate, and I'd totally buy. A monthly subscription is absolutely not worth it.

So brilliant. Added most my plants, its everything I wanted and more!! 5🌟s .....Edit. Few days later. I'm knocking this from 5 starts to 2. It works except for it doesn't send me notification reminds. I have to remember to come onto the app and check. Which isn't helpful as forgetting to do stuff is part of my illness and why I wanted the app in the first place. I'm better using the alarm clock on my phone or calendar reminders such as Google calendar instead. :( PFFT!!

From what other reviews have said it seems like it's good for a few things. I used it to identify plants and it would give me a different result with the same plant most of the time. So as far as identifying plants it's definitely not worth paying for. Google Lens does the same thing but a better job and it's free. Other people have said it's good for helping with the care of plants though so take that as you will. Its just not for me and it's really expensive.

No CANCEL button in app. $6.99 A WEEK! Is a ridiculous cost. Told me my plant was over or under watered and for me to just stop. 3 day free trial, which they'll send you a reminder that you can cancel on day 2? Install today & get a notice tomorrow that you're about to be charged. If you want that third day, you're likely to be taking quite the risk that you're going to be charged for the week unless you can get it timed just right. How do I cancel? If I delete the app, am I canceled?

Updating to add a star. Kudos for allowing users to change the start date of a new plant. Gave this app some more time, and i still don't feel it's easy to use. Notifications: sometimes they work on time. Sometimes they only work when you open the app. My biggest issue is the app's intelligence. If you miss a day of watering, the app should move yesterday's plants to today. Instead, today's new plants are the top focus and you need to scroll up to previous day's to see what was not marked done.

If it wasn't so buggy it would be a nice, simple useful app. I'm on a S7 and the notes and pictures I uploaded disappear after some time or upon relaunch, only the name and watering reminders remain. When writing notes and trying to edit a word it jumps to end and deletes end of the sentence instead, so u have to rewrite all the notes from the beginning if you mess up. Also the rate us button in the settings didn't even work either.

I like this app a lot! It was fun and easy to put together and I was always excited to get up and care for my plants! I've been using it without any issues for 2 months, and now suddenly I've noticed that it's repeating and rescheduling tasks that I've already completed. Example, I'll mark that my Pothos was watered but the next day it'll say it's time to water my Pothos. I'd really like to see this fixed. In it's current state is useless to me 😥

I subscribed to get more options so it's super helpful. My only complaint is that you can't set reminders ahead of time. You have to be on the exact day you want a weekly reminder set from and it's inconvenient for making a schedule ahead of time. You also can't change a plants location once it's set. I don't know if that's a bug or not, but it would be nice if it were fixed/changed.

This app is so useless I don't even have words. Absolutely useless seems far too generous. After a string of results which were all determined to be fungi by this app, I began asking it to ID plants, etc of which I already knew their identity. Unsurprisingly, the findings were still fungi, fungi, fungi. We're not even talking about exotic or rare plants. Wild grapes and other fall producers. I would not pay 29.99/year let alone a month. Thank God for the trial period.
