Ive used this app for years. I like it best because it's simple. Expect there's a really disruptive bug when you tap to edit the recipe's steps, you can't scroll back up to the ingredients list, you have to go back to the meals list to reset it. Also I wish there was a shortcut to swap the meals to a different day in the week.

I really, really like this app. I tend to struggle with planning my meals and groceries, I get overwhelmed and just give up (and order in lol). This app has completely saved me and now I actually cook more. 100% worth the upgrade. The ability to create meals, then break them down the ingredients and put them onto the grocery list is so helpful!

I like it but would LOVE it if I could share my meal plans with parents! Edit: love that they made meal plans shareable but took away two stars because the new shopping list generator is horrible, I can't edit like before and customize....I literally have to make 8t from scratch everything now it was never like this before. :( please put the shopping list back to the way it was or let people choose between which they would prefer to use.

Love it. Easy to use. I like that it saves entries and you can choose from the auto populate when doing new entries. I like that u can add pics for each entry. I use to write out meal plans but this makes it a lot easier to do whenever and wherever the mood strikes me.

Love this app! Please consider adding category options for meal items (main dishes, side dishes, or fruits/vegetables, etc.) and an option to plan out the entire month. Date range selection, or import current calendar, would be so great! Currently, I'm renaming each week with the date range.

I've been using Plan Meals to plan family dinners and grocery shopping lists for the past year. I plan meals a week or two in advance, and it has kept this busy mom from scrambling to figure out what's for dinner! Helps eliminate multiple trips to grocery store as well, as I can include all ingredients to planned meals on my weekly list. Highly recommended!

Wonderful app for planning what I want to cook from my own recipes. Very easy to use. I wish there was a better way to categorize the meals (entree, side dish, etc.) I have listed because it's completely unorganized and hard to find meals to plan in the future.

I have tried so many meal plan apps over the past few years, and this one is the one that fits me the best, by far! It has the structure I need (laid out by week, input for recipes) but the customization I desire (change first day of the week, change name of the week, input your own recipes, or don't put a recipe just write it down). Navigation is easy and user friendly. Going pro is an inexpensive 1x fee. My only suggestion would be to add a widget so you can view your meal plan by week.

Love the app but in desperate need of an update to fix bugs like not including all ingredients in ingredient or shopping lists and it glitches when trying to edit ingredient lists or when scrolling through meal plan display. It will also take off ingredients for a meal altogether when making a list fo shopping. The only way I get to work is to make an ingredient list and then screen shot it and even then I have to double check it listed all the ingredients needed. Please fix. Thank you!

Great app! Very simple and easy to use, has everything ive been looking for! Only issue I've run into is in adding meals. I can add as many meals and snacks as I'd like to my day-to-day from the editing menu, but when I press the X to remove one of the listings, it doesn't remove it; the X just turns a lighter shade of gray for a moment. So as a result I have 5+ snack listings for every day that I can't remove lol

I like having several weeks planned, and that my recipes are easy to enter BUT... You have to enter all the recipes yourself. You can't easily add online recipes. They have to typed in. When setting up meal plans you have to remember all the recipes available, because you have to type the recipe name rather than choose from a list. The shopping list is in the order of recipes rather than broken down by food type.

App needs a few more things, syncing capabilities to two accounts and Out Of Milk app. Food prep reminders. Calculatting the amount of ingredients to shop for. And most important to me, a "menu of the day" widget and a print feature, even better, if we could print multiple weeks on one page. Other than that, it's not a bad set up, I like some of the Pro features. Just wanting a little more out of it. Not containing adds ever is a great choice.

In the past, I used the application to generate my shipping list. Then the developer put that feature behind the pay wall. I was fine with that because it worked well. When they made that change, they also changed the shopping list. Now the shipping list does not generate all of the items from my recipes nor does it show the quantities without changing a setting every time I view the shipping list. Absolutely horrible update.

I do not recommend this app. The app doesn't sync across platforms. If you set up the desktop version, any updates made on desktop will not show up on your mobile device, and about 3/4 of the time any work you do on the desktop will be deleted as soon as you touch the mobile app. Frustrating waste of time. Additionally, although I got the gold subscription (which I regret) the app routinely forgets that I have the subscription and prompts for me to re-buy.

I'm loving this. Very simple and basic. I would love to be able to label my shopping lists for different stores. Having the ability to rearrange the shopping list and condensing multiple items (or being able to do it manually) would be nice. I would also love to have the option to view my menu in a boxed week calendar (month style)/table and export or print for my refrigerator :)

I had 3 weeks of menus planned and then one day I opened the app and it was wiped clean! All my menus were gone! Very upsetting because I had bought groceries while planning my menus...so I was left with a full freezer, full pantry and full refrigerator and had to try to remember what I had planned for every item! Now I'll try to find an app that is more dependable.

This is a good app, however it had a few flaws. - Grocery list does not effectively work properly. - Not have the ability to move around meals or copy and paste for another day. - Does not have the option to print out, which would have been an awesome feauture especially if doctors request it. -I had to pay "premium" just to add more meals such as snacks.

Pretty much what I need: a simple app to plan menus several days/weeks in advance, using what I have on hand or in the garden to reduce food waste. There are two small features I think would make it even more useful: 1) the ability to simply scroll up and down to see previous or future plans in addition to clicking on a specific week. 2) The option to add a short memo or note under each meal or day e.g. "remove Thursday's turkey from freezer" or "replaced milk with cream"

I LOVE this app. I have been looking for something that is simple and I can put in my own recipes. PROS: Lets you put in your own recipes Allows you to reusable plans so you don't have to keep planning each week. After adding the groceries to your shopping cart for your weeks plan you can customize your cart! You do have to pay a very VERY small fee to get the above feature but it is worth every penny and more. CONS If you are looking for an app that has pre done recipes for you. It's not for you. Does not have an online website that I can use to make input a little faster. Like another reviewer said a grading star system for each meal would be cool.

I really like the app. Love that you can put in your week's plan and it translates into a shopping list. But the shopping list needs a lot of revisions each time. It adds every word on its own line. Baby carrots is "baby" on one line, as a shopping item, and "carrots" on the next. I also like that created recipes translate to the shopping list, with same problems as above. I would like to be able to edit the shopping lists by naming/dating them, deleting them, etc.
