Cannot fix colors (like on eyes). Only two animations available. I upgraded to a subscription, and just a few days later I start getting ads, and it wants me to pay an additional fee. The ads show it animating multiple faces in a picture, but it will only let you do one, and it crops the image to just the face, so deceptive advertising. The app has potential, but needs work, and is a bit too basic for what they are charging.

It did interesting work, and the app seemed to have potential. I would have like to actually tried it fully to better decide whether to buy, but the trial app is limited to only three "fixes" per day. The first fix did not work and crashed, so I really only got two tries. I wanted to buy a photo editor tonight, but two tries does not give me enough information, particularly when the app itself is on the costly side.

It is cool to see! Depends on how much detail is in the original photo. If there is to much distortion in the original the correction can look goofy or crazy. You cannot controll how much of a filter is applied, it just applys it. There is no fine tuning. It works great on most photos and it is amazing to see old photos clear for the first time!

As soon as I got the app, I tried to enhance my pictures, and I was waiting for the ad to end, to see the results, and I never did. I closed the app and opened it again same thing happened. The ad would just stop after it was finished, and usually there would be an X in the corner to close the ad but there wasn't, and the ad still had music and it had a moving arrow pointing to "download", and I didn't know why I couldn't exit out of the ad at the end. Uninstalled.

It does a pretty good job enhancing faces, but it does not enhance/sharpen the rest of the picture. I tried it on a few pictures taken with an old camera and some of the faces enhancements we're incredible, but the rest of the body was still blurry. When opening picture from the phone, it doesn't remember the last path used. Every time I need to open a picture in a folder, it takes 6 taps just to navigate to the folder. With the free plan, there's is an ad to do the enhancement, and 1 to save.

This is a great tool to clear up old photos. A lot of times there are artifacts that the ai messes up when enhancing, but it's still really good. The animate feature is a joke, and needs a lot of work. Every single face I've tried to animate ends up being half animated where the lower part of the face is frozen, and everything else is grossly distorted. The highlight is definitely the enhance feature.

While I have the trial. It works exactly as it says. It sharpens and reduces minor scratches. It also animates pictures. It might be a little glitchy but it works. The only reason as to why I'm not keeping it because Samsung can sharpen pictures but not nearly as good but for free. I don't like subscription services that don't do more. I should be able to add stickers, change the background, change the scenery to seem like it's raining. What it offers isn't worth the price. Still a good product.

This app is crazy good. Located several really old pics that were black and white and slightly blurry. Tried to have a professional fix these years ago which took about a week with so-so results. This littlle app did 10x better in a matter of seconds. Would definitely be 5 stars, but i only wish the processing and wait time with the forced ads is so long (about a minute for each step you take), but realistically, it's worth the wait and I will most likely be purchasing this. Wow!

It only enhances faces which is weird. The surround area and body is still dated and old, but it AI redraws the face in a way that makes it not natural and it ends up making the subjects look more of a strange uncanny valley than the person they are. It doesn't look good especially enough to get a hefty subscription for such a thing. The other features and modes may be better but if you are getting it mainly to enhance old photos, maybe think twice because you'll be disappointed.

The animation is weird. Also when creating a clearing imagen they put blue eye when obviously they had brown eye, they almost look like cartoons eye. When adding color it will miss some parts like ears and you can't manually changed it. I know it's not like Photoshop ,but if you have a good photo, the enhance comes out decent. It was fun out of 10 pics I tried to edit I can only use 2. Work on the eyes.

It's a fun app and really works. The trial allows 3 choices of animation and all 3 are quite slow with limited movement. Example; one shows a smile, showing white teeth. When you enter your photo, it's not smiling and shows no teeth; rather bland and boring. I'm guessing the paid pro version has many styles and movement for your pictures. It's similar to other like apps but much more limited. In other words, the unpaid version is too limited to to know wether it's good enough to buy pro.

Great app, probably the best AI photo enhancer I've used...and was ready to buy it, AFTER the 3 day trial, so I could test the app...but they don't give you a second chance to pay the 29.99 for the lifetime price after you're done with the trial. It's either you blindly trust their app is good from the onset of downloading it or you're pushed into paying the monthly price, which isn't for me. Too bad, it's a very good app.

This app works pretty good when IT wants to. I tried signing up for the weekly subscription which is crazy at the price it is. And then every so often when I open the app it kicks me back to the original free trial with ads. And when i go into setting to And hit "restore purchase" nothing happens. So annoying. It won't let you restore it back but they gladly keep charging you. Such a waste of money!

🤣🤣🤣 wow the animations are horrible! I tested this it cause my husband wanted it and so I dealt with being forced to watch an ad just to load a picture and another to apply the animation. The animation options are very limited and the end results are more scary than anything. It's like the top half of the face moves and that's all. Don't bother.

The app does colorize old photos well. The animation features work best when the face is looking forward. I recently had to get new phone. Unfortunately, when the Pixleup app was transfered to my new phone my account was deleted. I had bought a lifetime subscription. However, there seenmms to be no way of restoration of my subscription. I will not pay another $40 so all of my previous photos are gone.

This app does absolutely amazing things with photos! However, I was only able to use it on four photos before the app started crashing constantly. I tried rebooting my phone... I tried clearing the cache for the app... Clearing the cache seemed to help, sometimes. However, after thinking I solved the crashing problem twice and therefore being able to process two more photos through the app, that trick no longer worked and the app would crash every time I tried to open a photo with it.

Not Quite Mr. App! Ummm, first off you have a 3-day trial for a subscription. Uploading pictures is seamless and great. The images that are "pixelupped" are all sorts of wrong. It had my family cracking up at the way they depicted some of the faces. 🤣 Not quite right, not quite a real person's face, just not what I was looking for. I'm not looking to recreate the person into a zombie, just fix the pixels. It appears that the app just picks up random face features like a zombie game.

This is fun, but the technology is very low tech and the program freezes at times. I was using it to colorized and animate historic photos. The ability to manipulate the color range is too limited to really be worthwhile for museum quality work. Only one facial expression can be applied to the photo, so unless you want all faces to act in the same way simultaneously, you can only animate one face in a group photo. Often the program will not detect all faces, it depends on photo quality.

I was disappointed. I only was able to actually correct 2 of 20 of the photos I was working on. Enhancing made people look more like the avatar feature, which I didn't use. And I couldn't seem to unblur them either. Colorize only worked on very old faded pictures. Now to figure out how to cancel the free, not free trial I paid 5 bucks for.

Awful results...wish I could post the results the app produced on a standard, but scratched and faded, baby portrait. So much worse, that the before looked better than the after. I tried the enhance feature when I didn't get good results with the descratch. Nope...that result was worse too. Nothing at all like their samples show.do not recommend and I wish I could get my money back. I've tried three photos on here...all normal ones that need retouching. All results were worse than the originals.
