More About Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond

Entering the realm in an instant, you find yourself in a pixelated world of swords and magic.
"Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" is a classic Japanese-style RPG pixel art casual idle game. The legendary Goddess of Light created the sacred Emond Continent, but the magical civilization here is quietly eroded by evil thoughts, and the dormant Demon King is about to awaken after millennia. In the chaotic timeline, a bizarre dream unfolds, unlocking your long-sealed memories. You begin to reminisce about everything in the distant past: on the war-torn continent full of scars, there has always been a resolute figure leading people towards the light, and that figure is "You," the executor!

The revival of memories means loosening the seal, and the fate of the floating continent is once again in your hands. Faced with the impending storm, what choices will you make as you stand in the center of the tempest?

[Gameplay]
As an idle game, "Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" emphasizes "easy gameplay + super high welfare + differentiated content." Draw to obtain characters, gain resource benefits through idle play, and obtain equipment and more resources through dungeons. Then, upgrade, advance, and enhance characters for enjoyable development, easily boosting your combat power. Sing your way through, knocking down layers of levels—the main gameplay content of the game.

The game's battles use a semi-turn-based and semi-real-time action bar mechanism, with the combat process fully entrusted to the system for automatic control. No need to study skill casting, reducing the threshold for beginners, while maintaining strategic depth. Various interesting gameplay elements also keep veteran players passionate about the game.

[Game Features]
Vintage pixels, exquisite illustrations
The game adopts a retro pixel art style, unique among today's idle games, providing an exhilarating and nostalgic combat experience. Outside of most pixel scenes, each character has delicate 2D illustrations with an anime style. In story dialogues, illustrations are presented in Live2D form, combining exquisite visuals with pixel art style for greater visual impact and appeal.

Rich gameplay, casual and dedicated
Integrating traditional idle gameplay—battle, collection, and cultivation! Built-in idle experience collection allows you to continue collecting experience materials and equipment even when offline. For players seeking a deeper experience, various rich gameplay systems and fun mini-games in the River of Forgetfulness, Eternal Throne, Endless Sea, and more offer ever-changing enjoyment. In short, all kinds of gameplay are available, play casually without forcing microtransactions, and enjoy freedom and happiness at will.

Passionate battles, pinnacle competition
Boss battles, cross-server battles, various competitive dungeons, and honor rankings—here, you can form your own guild, make friends from all over the world, and leave your mark on the Emond Continent!

Deep storyline, top voice actors
A top-notch voice actor team passionately voices the game characters, perfectly presenting their personalities and the grand storyline. The 300,000-word main plot depicts the rise and fall of the floating continent, complemented by a novel of the same name. From the perspective of a third party, witness the legend of "You" from an unknown person to a world-renowned hero! Strong immersion allows you to enjoy yourself both online and offline!

the game is ok but has a few problems. one: it's an exact copy of other games with a different skin. two: it's got way too many things to do to collect rewards. leaving you claiming stuff more than playing. and three: the developers had so little faith in their game that they didn't just use sexy characters. they used virtually naked characters to keep people hooked. so now I feel like I'm playing a game in a room full of underaged teens and old perverts. one needs a shower after each session

1) Fights become longer the more you play the game and it becomes boring, taking up too much time. 2) This game is heavily pay to win, don't play it if you don't want to spend real money. 3) There is no online wiki to help understand the game play, cards, and upgrading systems. 4) Story mode will keep locking you from progression based on your level. Update: Dropped 1 star for fights becoming stupidly long and boring. Even at 3x speed challenges can be up to 10 minutes of just watching.

The large draw they promise is pretty much fake since it's daily 10 draws over 365 days. The combat is fully automatic but you can't skip it outside of arena. The story progress is also met up with a time (level based) barrier pretty fast, after few hours, while the battles themselves are still very easy. Otherwise there's just not much to do besides claiming rewards and the main thing would be the art I guess, while the translation also uses masculine form for the female characters...

Played for about 2 months straight. Pros: game runs smoothly, character models are nice, plenty of events, and the UI and gameplay is intuitive. Cons: all meta characters are dark and light characters. These characters have the lowest drop rate. You are constantly being bombarded by sales and packs, and too many system to pull for and level up. Conclusion: fun little game, but you are not competing in pvp without swiping. Also, the gameplay gets stale real fast.

The draw rate for good heroes is kind of trash unless you plan on spending. The beta had a better percentage, now with the live version 10 10x later, and I get only the same heroes. But who knows, maybe it's just the luck of the draw this time around. (It's not, I made 2 more accounts on different servers, and the results were similar.) Outside of that, the story is slow going, and it's pretty bland. Best of luck though.

It's not a game - that would require play and a failure state. This is a fancy screen saver you can spend money on for some reason. LOTS of clicking. Somewhere in level 4 or 5 sudden difficulty spike w/ poorly explained mechanics. Lots of small errors in the text. When you go to the character screen which will be frequently all the five star chars repeat one line of dialogue. Loudly. Don't waste your time.

So.. It definitely hits in the endorphines with LOTS of things to level up, gain, work towards, etc.. But the actual game itself, and gameplay, are a bit dull. Lots of summons thrown at you too, which is nice, but aside from the collection, it feels pointless overall. Give it a shot though, you may love it.

the gameplay in this is completely different from what I was led to believe. This game is just another idle rpg that does very little to expand on the idea other than annoying voice acting that you can't turn off, and pixel art. It even follows all the exact same gameplay principles of similar games. If you're interested in that kind of game, go ahead and install, but don't be fooled by the false advertisement.

I think it's unfair that they hide the mission for the 7th day quests, and then when it actually does open and we see what it is, and it's closed.... We can't participate in it.... Kinda rude bro. Trash mini game. I'm glad I planned on quitting this as soon as it got boring. It got boring, and that mini game helped. Thanks for making your game so bad I finally no longer have fun with it. Cheers!

The game is overall good, but I feel like there are way too many ads to buy stuff. Ever other click I get is a promotion to buy something from them. The second problem is their pvp section.I can't get past rookie because there is no real match making. They just pair you with random people, so even though I'm in ookie league, I get paired with people that are like 2 or 3 leagues above me. Also, to upgrade characters, it requires you to really heavily grind, and it's not bad, just time-consuming.

The art, fighting, and content are all amazing. I've had the game for well over 10 days, and only have 2 main complaints. In the adds of the game it shows a very experience then what you would see when playing and mainly it has a bunch of daily things to do but after you get through with the daily objectives you are locked into waiting for the next day. Still an amazing game in my opinion

Yet Another AFK Game. This one pretty much greets you with its hand out, waiting for your money. In theory, it's optional, but they're laying it on thick. Oh, they give you an avatar for fights, but it kind of sucks. The tutorial even makes fun of it, and has you power up a sidekick instead. The interface is nice, but ultimately wasted on this "game".

This game is honestly one of the best in the AFK-esc genre but unfortunately falls into the same micro-transaction the rest of them do. The art is really pretty all around, especially in some of the level designs. The voice acting is fine, on the better side I would say. And most importantly, there's just enough to do each time I log in.

3 Stars because it's super addicting and fun. Great graphics, stories, things to do and tons of rewards to click constantly... Three Downsides: - It's heavily pay to win. You won't be in the top ranks during events or challenges. - The game is auto play. You cannot decide for your heroes on who to attack and with what ability. - Can't rollback low (1-3)☆ Heroes in alter... please add this function for a 5 star rating! Overall, still a great game...

Don't be fooled, this is an AFK game. Visually it's fantastic, music is nice, story is about as plain as you can get. Fighting is all automatic and you receive rewards while offline. One main negative is that there is so much to collect on a daily/hourly basis that it's almost overwhelming. There's 8-10 different areas you need to check on constantly and collect for. Also, the 3650 free summons is 10 per day, for a year. Devs don't care; you can tell by the automated responses to 2 Star reviews.

PH heroes doesn't do anything we haven't seen before. However, I was enjoying the story, the pixel graphics/art and plentiful f2p rewards. Other than that it's another over monetize idle app. There are so many icons and sections to purchase this and that. To the point it's overwhelming. On the top of that. The app keeps freezing especially when your playing one of the mini games and your winning big items.

It's a gorgeous 2D/HD pixel game, but there's only one issue. High paying players will definitely give you a challenge when it comes to certain events throughout the game. The rate drops are quite low for the much stronger and better units, and that's probably the biggest downfall. Overall a great game though. Helps new players out with a bunch of summons

Visually it's great, fantastic looking characters and I love that the characters talk as well as give you the text. my biggest compliant is it's too autonomous. there's no ability to maneuver around and explore, discover things, and during a fight scene I don't get to choose any of the moves or who to attack. it's a great concept for a game so far but there's really nothing for the actual players to do, so you're left just staring at the screen twiddling your thumbs.

I don't like being hand held during tutorials. I want to save my level up materials for a better hero rather than be hand held and forced into leveling up a hero I'll be quickly replacing when I get a better one. It's a real shame I wont get to play until we can skip the tutorials. On the plus side you can sign up and play with a guest account.

If you like spending time going through a bunch of different screens and menus to claim all your gems and coins, and not playing a game then this game is for you. I spend more time swapping between screens and menus to collect everything than I do actually battling. App is designed to keep you in it for as long as possible to try and sell you one of many expensive bonus passes. And many things are "random" draws so good luck getting good equipment or characters.
