Exceptional is the word!! Since I discovered this app last year, 2019, it has really being my favourite networking app. It makes working on networks so easy for me and I have been able to troubleshoot networks easily with this tool. I would recommend it to any network Engineer who needs a cool and fast working tool. It's a 5 star!!!!!

Great app. Unfortunately iperf UDP is not working. In reverse mode the server sends traffic but the app can't receive it. In direct mode the server starts listening but no datagrams are arriving from my phone. (Unrestricted wlan)

tried the tool, all looked great but functionality I was looking for was missing. specifically - I needed to ping a. certain host and draw an ongoing graph of response time along with possible losses - I needed to catch a possible network problem happening intermittently and I needed to watch ping over a long ( 30 minutes) time to correlate events happening in some other devices ( with VPN and other complications) with plain events on the network. I could not find any application doing it at the moment....

Used to be good but recent update caused problems. Phone's power optimiser kept reporting this app. It kept running even if put to sleep. It generated 1.8GB of data files. Battery life was halved. I think it caused a "Too many files created on this device" error. After uninstalling it my phone feels faster and battery life back to normal.

Many tools with many options, it is really useful. One thing that doesn't seem to work is WOL. When I setup the profile and trying to send the packets, it says "Failed to send WoL packet to". The settings are correct because I successfully receive WOL packets from other apps.

On the same boat as a few of the other 1 star reviewers. The app used to run great, until it started to hog storage. I was actually unable to see how much it consumed because my phone would softlock every time I tried to go into the storage options. I saw the suggestion on a forum and after giving it the boot the "Too many files were created" message magically disappeared and my phone stopped lagging and hanging.

I use this tool fairly often to diagnose issues on my home network. Impressive assortment of tools, including iperf3 which is my go-to for quick performance tests against another machine on my network to look for bottlenecks. Highly recommend.

Excellent collection of Network tools. The initial interface shows your phone's internal IP, your gateway and your external IP. The menu includes a good selection of tools including traceroute, speed test and local area network which identifies all the other devices on your internal network. Highly recommended. Slickjoey Ronn's one star review is absolutely ridiculous.

Any good set of tools is a must to troubleshoot phone issues. This one is no exception. Saved me from having to do a full device reset - when only a network setting reset was required - by helping me focus on the actual problem: faulty network configuration. It helped me resolve issues on two old devices.

Really surprised with the amount of features contained in a single app. I can only recommend it, even despite some minor issues and tweaks, it's a wonderful tool. But also I was trying to reach out to you via the internal feedback option but it doesn't provide an email I can write to. I was having some issues I wanted to share with you.

This app is great and offers features I haven't seen on other apps like it...for free....and I haven't even had one advertisement in a month. I do have a question for the developers tho...why on cellular data does it show two active devices ....one showing my phone and then another unknown device running a gateway service for incoming packets? I'm confused on that because my friends phone who has the app shows one active device.

EDIT: Thanks to the devs it seems like this issue has been fixed, so this app definitely deserves 5 stars! This app has proven to be useful on numerous occasions. However I recently got a notification about Android filesystem limit reached due to too many files being created. When I checked the app's storage usage it turns out that it's been consuming 1.2GB of storage space. I uninstalled it and the notification went away. I hope you fix this bug soon.

Used to love this app, it does a great job at its various primary functions. Unfortunately I have had to uninstall it. My phone had become unusable, internal storage was completely full. I deleted a bunch of apps, photos, data to no avail. Finally managed to work out that PingTools was the culprit; it was consuming 4.7Gb of storage by the time I deleted it. Something is seriously wrong with it, I would avoid installing it until the developer works out what they have messed up...

Well designed user interface. Intuitive to use. Packed with useful tool that I want to use for my network diagnostics. Very well done. Lots of nice extra info in the speed test - packet loss calc etc. Suggestion box: would be nice to be able to set the time of the speed test and to see an historical chart of packet loss alongside speed, if that's possible.

Maybe my new favourite network tool - everything you need for monitoring and troubleshooting a network. Would like to see some more network device types/icons such as switches, WiFi access points so I can better use this to keeo records of the networks I look after. What else, other than no ads, does the Pro version give me? It isn't very clear from the descriptions if there is more.

12 months later (May 2024), changed ISP and the app will not show internet connection. A rare thing in the world of apps! A clear, easy to use intuitive interface that does what you want with a few extras thrown in. A really useful tool for diagnosing wifi problems.

The app is helpful when debugging network issues. It could make it easier to use on a phone with on-screen keyboard by using an LRU cache to select previously entered values. Also it seems not to use the default DNS even though it claims to do so for name resolution. I run into this trying to figure out why DNS with WireGuard split tunnel didn't work.

I need an app to test 10 or so URL's at specific ports, and this app looks to do that. I only added the first 4 URL's to try it out and it worked. When I went back into add the remaining URLs I found I no longer had the Add Favorites option. I found if I selected one of my Favorites already entered and back spaced I then had an option on screen to edit my Favorites. It could be more intuitive, such as add an Edit Favorites option, but overall I can do all I need with this app. Thanks.

The UI hangs when the network fails to respond, or when the network is switched to a different one. Given that my use case (and presumably the use case of many others) for this app is to diagnose network issues, this makes it highly unreliable, if not outright useless, as it needs constant force-stopping to make it work. Besides this, it's a great app, hence still three stars, but unfortunately this issue is a major one.

Extremely weird. I downloaded this while looking for a self-hosted speed test application. I didn't want any HTML5/browser based tests, so this looked promising, even though it used public servers. But on startup, this thing IMMEDIATELY starts scanning network (even if just connected by LTE) and if you open speed test page while it's doing this "scan" the app just crashes. Extremely unstable. Also, extremely annoying that it auto-scans. I want to be able to set startup page to a specific one.
