Was great until they are now discontinuing the Airline Interface which lets you import from your airline's roster. Now I have to log each flight manually -- may as well use a spreadsheet at this point. Very unhappy after paying for mccPilotLog, then paying again for a lifetime license when the upgraded to this version. Now they discontinue the only feature I bought it for. What a scam.

I feel the need to edit my previous review of this software from 4 stars to 5 stars with the below comments. I have recently experienced issues in the printing of my logbook columns and total time values while using a state approved format (SACAA). The Devs team, as well as the support team continuously and patiently worked with me to resolve the issue. State law was reviewed and the problem was resolved. The commitment to customer service of this Developer does set it MILES apart from other products that are available. (I have used a wide variety of these available logbook products) I commend the CrewLounge team for both creating, and continuously improving a reliable, high quality product. I have been a customer for a while, from the MCC Pilot logbook to present. I can with confidence recommend this software to any fellow professional pilot who wishes to have absolute versatility and control over their logbooks.

Stopped working all of a sudden. Cant open the app anymore. They told me to wait because they where investigating the issue, but until then, I cant access anything on my mobile or upload my flight hours to the database. Update: After more than 2 months without being able to use the app, because it would crash just after opening it, they issued an update and it works fine for now. But I spent a long time without being able to use the app and therefore this bad review.

The app would benefit from a flights overview interface which shows all the important data incl. block on/off, PIC, etc (if possible, with an option to customize which data is shown like on the Windows desktop app). Otherwise good app, easy to use, the airline import works fine. I have raised some issues with support and they have been lightning quick in answering and solving the problem so no complaints there! Keep up the good job.

** Update** I have been using this logbook app on and off since 2019 when it changed to the new version. It was released too early. It had too many bugs and simply didnt work reliably. HOWEVER After much to-ing and fro-ing with the developers I finally revisited it about 8 months ago and it now works as it should. The display format is really nice and it has loads of features that are as good, if not better now than some of the main competitors available for both android, PC and iOS. 5 stars

Having waited 2 years to upgrade to the new 'Crewlounge' logbook from the old MCCPilotlog, I've been pleasantly surprised at how straightforward and familiar the application is. Functionally it is very similar to the old version, only cloud based and so sync is a bit more robust, and it's a bit less clunky. What I've been most impressed about though is the level of support I've had. In setting up the new app I was having a few issues; before I could email support to ask for help, they had emailed me(!) telling me that they'd spotted that I was having issues and we're working on a fix. Long story short, I had real time tech support, who actually updated their server software in real time to fix the problem in less than an hour.

Works well, I had a technical issue with roster downloads and the team had it sorted in 6 days. Everything else has been seemless including import and transfer from previous software. **Edit: shortly after being purchased by Aviobook, they’ve announced that they’re dropping roster import capability/support for my airline (a large British Airline). A real shame. The legacy MCC pilotlog can still do it, so I assume it’s a management decision rather than any technical difficulty. A real shame.

Yet another review update, now the app is totally unusable to me. It stopped syncing my past flights with AIMS, on two devices I have seemingly two separate databases that I'm unable to merge / swap / change / reset and in general it just feels like this app is getting worse and worse... I feel ashamed that I recommended it to few of my friends who wasted their money on it...

Horrible user experience. I bought the lifetime licence for their previous logbook mccpilotlog and two months later they announced a new software and I was asked to pay again. I cannot even get my flight log as the previous version doesn't run on 64 bits and doesn't let you import your flights, unless you buy the new software of course. It is an absolute rip off, I cannot warn enough any pilot. Don't go for this logbook. Other options are bad too, but this is just the worst.

Also I had issues after updating to version 5.2, but after a bit of a wait I received great support and everything is now up and running like MCC before. It looks good and all my flights are back where they belong, syncing nicely between devices. Have logged 4 flight since and worked like a charm. Seems like they are back on track!

Great logbook. I'm coming from a famous competitor app that lately was giving lots of problem with zero support from the developers. This one works flawlessly and offers great stats and customization. It would be even better if the dark theme was black/gray rather than blue as it would help saving battery on OLED displays. The only thing that I miss from my previous logbook app is the option to set sector pay (based on scheduled block times) and display the monthly earnings. But overall 5 stars!

Since my original review I need to update it as the software is now broken, only manual entry individually is allowed, offline roster download only available for select airlines and customer service offered no solution sadly. No longer can recommend the app after a user for years. (Amazing potential and I've seen it grow over the last few years. Can't change some things from the app yet (like proficiency) but I can see it growing and getting better after every update. Its a good app so far!)

I've used this for years and paid to upgrade to a lifetime license after the. Transition from MCCpilotlog. The entire reason I paid for this was the airline roster import which was the main feature of the entire app and it's now been entirely removed due to "software constrains". I feel sick that I recommended this to so many people and now the only selling feature doesn't exist. Currently looking for alternatives, but I suppose they don't care as they already have my money.

I really liked this logbook up until recently. I thought it was my fault, but auto syncing no longer works. I see that this issue is happening accross all users. What's the point of a digital logbook if you still have to manually import everything? Really sad, customer service was always fast and responsive. But no longer a useful application.

Desktop version of this logbook is not good. Not user friendly and very buggy. Also, my times do not match between mobile and PC, and are inexplicably different by nearly 300 hours, in spite of the fact that both are synced and up to date. Mobile app is more user friendly, has a nicer interface and offers better reports/info than PC. However, when taken as a whole package, it's only 2 stars. This could improve if they would invest heavily in the desktop version.

Dont get this Logbook if your company uses AIMS, half of the information is missing and out of sync. Incredibly frustrating. App used to be great and now its un-useable. Wont be renewing my subscription like many others

Ever since PilotLog was purchased by Aviovision, functionality and technical support have gone down the drain. App used to support my airline roster login, but stopped working. Despite several suggestions as to how their tech support can solve it, they ignore offers to help. Alternate methods of downloading the roster (eg. using PDF) result in erroneous or missing data being populated to the App. Will update this review if the situation improves. Starting to trial alternatives.

Big disappointment! The new software is buggy and simply doesn't work at all and they can't fix it almost a year now! Update as of 10 November. Still not fixed. Still have problems importing and logging flights and names plus they refuse to move ". evb. tmp" files from User/Temp folder which prevents program start because it's blocked by Comodo Security software. I'm close to ask my money back and keep the old mccPILOTLOG because it worked very well.

I have major doubts about the competence of there tech support. I spent days editing and then syncing the entries in my logbook via the app function on my phone. When I had an issue with my laptop not syncing and showing these changes I contacted tech support. There tech support then managed to delete every edit I had made and then did not fix the issue. They don't read the inquiries fully and don't seem to know how there own systems work. There tech support is awful and incompetent.

Seems to be working a little better for me now with crewtrac. I'm liking it quite a bit. I still have a couple issues. It doesn't download the pilot names into the pic and sic slots like it used to in mcc. And it keeps downloading deadhead flights into my logbook. My biggest complaint is that you can't sync with calendar anymore unless you use the connect app which is a separate (low) cost.
