This is literally nothing how it was a couple years ago. So extra for no reason. You get 2 slow as hell beginning songs (they aren't infinite game-play either, the round ends when the song is over and then you're left clicking random tiles) and then the next two songs you HAVE to watch an ad to unlock, and the rest of the app is locked until you do. I won't continue from there. 👎

This was one of my favorite games for a long time. This app is not detecting input even on the menu screen and they want to charge a monthly subscription for this? I am frustrated by needed to watch ads to unlock songs and having to watch ads every other song. I understand having a paid version with out ads but I would be much more willing if it was a one time paid fee

Inferior to the original in every way possible. It's buggy, it doesn't allow your saves from Facebook. And it's riddled with ads. Even the songs that were originally unlocked with coins in the og app are now locked behind ads. And a lot of the crossover songs and all selection songs are nowhere to be seen. Highly disappointed. The mod apk you find on Google is an infinitely better game than this. Hope they fix all these.

I like the game. It's the same game that was here 3 years ago, but I don't like all of the ads. Like the ads you have to play to unlock a song. I would also give it a better rating, but the option for auto sound quality is missing (it could be auto enabled or my phone is just slow). I would also love for you to import mp3 or midi files of your own.

This was my favorite mobile game for a long time and I often thought about it coming back. I was so excited for this release, but the amount of ads has soured my experience. Having to watch an ad just to play a song is crazy. Not to mention the paid version is based on subscriptions and not a one time purchase. 9.99 for a month?? The gameplay is still the same as I remember, with a few other new features, but the ads seriously hindered my experience.

Edit: Dev Reply "Advertisements allow us to continue giving free updates for all players" These devs don't want to make a good experience; they want money. That's the only reason Piano Tiles 2 is back at all. The original version was already perfect with minimal ads; this version gave me an ad after THE FREAKING TUTORIAL, and after every single song. There's no reason to serve that many ads other than pure greed, preying on nostalgia. Not to mention the audio desync and general lack of polish.

Ads. So many ads to play anything, to unlock anything, etc. Some of the ads close the game out fully and glitch the game. I played less than 24 hours :( had lots of stuttering and lag while playing that hurt me in the process of playing. I was having a 4* fun experience until the ads took over, paywalls showed up, and the game became something else. I'm trying to play a piano music key game, not watch ads of competing games that some look better.

Wow. How this game has fallen. It used to be a rather fun game. I get why you had to remove a good chunk of the songs..I assume copyright issues and the like but oh my God the ads are abhorrent. every time you either fail or complete a level, to unlock roughly 70% of the levels and in order to revive (that last one is whatever honestly). I get you need to make money but please pull back on the ads some.

Use to love this game. It was great for improving hand eye coordination and reflexes, but now it's just all ads. It forces you to watch an ad after every level, no matter if you complete the level or fail. You also have to watch an ad to unlock songs (besides the first song and songs you can pay for with in-game currency) AFTER YOU REACH THE NEEDED LEVEL TO "play them". Very disappointing.

Four edits to this review later: Forced ads. Not just a few. You get four songs per level. 3/4 require ads to unlock. Each of those ads are 75 seconds for a < 3min song. Challenges require one gem and a ticket to enter. One add=one ticket. All of this and poor tap registration? It would be faster and less frustrating to actually learn piano. Don't waste your money and don't give them theirs by watching hours worth of ads.

Saw that this game came back under a different dev and thought I'd play it again. So *ad I *ad tried *ad to *ad play but there were too many ads. I tried using an ad blocker but this game won't let you watch ads required to progress if they are being blocked. They already have 1 million downloads. An ad here and there would profit more than constant ads. Constant ads cause people to uninstall. "But ads keep it free" you're profiting enough. Tl;dr: Too many ads. Shut up and don't take my money.

The game has took a turn for the worse in terms of quality. The music glitches out even on the slower tiles. the tiles will speed up tremendously at unpredictable points instead of at the end of each phase. making getting a high score unreasonably difficult. The game also forces you to watch 20-60 second long ads just to play 1 song that lasts at best 5 minutes. This wouldn't be so bad if the game didn't also push skip-able ads randomly. Basically, I don't wanna spend 1/4th of my time on ads.

Ah, a classic. I remember playing this game when I was ten years old and just getting into the world of piano tiles. Can't say this game changed at all over the years, though. Idk when they last updated it, but the game is somehow the exact same but worse. The songs sound like you're playing them from a far away radio station. It's so gargled. Plus, I don't remember there being this many ads. You have to play an ad after you die, to revive, after you get your score, everything! I'm disappointed.

Cannot reccomend AGAINST this app strongly enough, which makes me very sad. I loved piano tiles (and was rather good at it) but being forced to watch an ad to unlock a song I supposedly "unlocked" by leveling up? That's dirty and under-handed. I can't reccomend anything from people like that. You already automatically play an ad after every. Single. Song. It would be one thing if it was part of the price for songs you have to buy with notes [400🎶 + ▶️]. But barring every single level "unlock"

This game is just like the original cheetah game, with the only real difference being the amount of ads. I understand that ads allows us to have free games and let's creators make money, it's a necessary evil, but before every song, after every song, and in order to even unlock the next song, you have to watch 2 ads. T w o. This is excessive and takes you completely out of the game. Also unlike the original Cheetah company version of the game, there is no arcade option for the songs. Very lame.

I was very excited to return to this game; I loved the original. But I can't recommend this revived version at all. First, as others have said, the number of forced ads is beyond ridiculous. That's the primary thing that made me uninstall after about a day. But beyond that, the game simply doesn't function as well as it used to. The audio is choppy and sometimes distorts, and the speed mid-song sometimes slows drastically and then suddenly jumps back to normal speed, seemingly at random.

I had this game for literal years. As in, I initially downloaded in back in 2016, when it was much better than it is now. I deleted it after having trouble logging into my facebook, which it had logged me out of. It seems they officially took away that option recently, which means I lost YEARS of progress. I was at LEAST level 20 when I was force-logged out of my profile back when I initially deleted it. The fact that I have to rebuild all of my hard work from scratch still makes me angry.

This is the best version of the Piano Tiles game, and I'm glad it's back. However now there is an ad at every turn. It is required to watch ads in order to unlock new songs and an ad plays at the end of every song as well. I understand that ads need to be there, but three for every song is entirely too many. Very disappointing.

Overall great game, very glad they brought it back. Not too many ads, some great songs, etc. However, I do have one single problem. Please, PLEASE, bring back the Alan Walker songs, those were my favorite. Faded, The Spectre, and Alone were the songs. I know you aren't the original developers but I'm actually begging. Will change to five stars if you do it. Great job!! ❤️

This used to be one of my favorite apps. I loved the challenge. Especially the classic style where the tiles don't slide, but move as you hit keys. I re-downloaded out of nostalgia... boy what a change. Now it is nothing but pay-wall frustration. And for this, my rating goes from 5 to 2 stars. Greed completely ruined my favorite app.
