It's very unreasonable to exclude email as an option for logging in. I cant use phone number cos my country is restricted and Facebook as an option is funny and unethical. I don't just speak for myself but lots of friends and people round the world has lost their accounts with lots of mined coins in it with no way of getting in. What a waste.... I'll just wait until the developers finally do good by adding email or other better alternatives as an option for logging in. I'm giving this 2 stars.

PI developers just made everything difficult for members. I have problem with my phone and need to switch over to new phone, it's been so difficult because of the restrictions. To login is restricted to only phone number and Facebook account. Whereas it's possible to lose the sim, email cannot be lost just like that. Kyc is another trouble. Mining of 4 years is like been wasted with almost 10,000 PI. The developers will do a lot of good to the community by adding email option for login.

So far, only giving it a 1 star, the app isn't loading everything. It didn't except my wallet, so I went to try and make one. It made one but never gave me a pass phrase... There are so many bugs with it within the first few minutes of even using it... so far, I'm definitely not impressed and starting to think this will be like all the other apps out there and be a waste of time and energy 😕

"I've been very happy to using the Pi Network app, but I recently encountered a problem with the account recovery function. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working properly. As a user, it's essential to have a reliable way to reset passwords or account recovery in case of forgetfulness or security concerns. However, the current system seems to be ineffective.I've attempted to reset my password multiple times, following the provided instructions, but to no avail.

It was "okay" when it first came out. I've been following these guys for a while. I appreciated the survey they sent out for what type of ads they should include. And they included ads at the bottom of the app which is totally acceptable. But today I opened up the app and was Blasted by a full screen ad for Experian Credit Score. To me personally that is an automatic uninstall. If there was a in app notification stating do you want to turn these on/off that would have been acceptable.

Interesting concept that seems appealing. One major issue that I cannot get past is the hidden permissions that it has. Even with all permissions disabled, it can: read your contacts, have full network access, view network connections, view Wi-Fi connections, Advertising ID Permission, prevent phone from sleeping, use biometric hardware, use fingerprint hardware, receive data from Internet, control vibration, run at startup, Read badge notifications, and run foreground service. That's too much.

Until they able to fix the two biggest bugs, this rating stays. First of all, if you register your account using Facebook, you will not be able to add security circle. Secondly, the app failed to add contacts to your circle. You will have to do a bunch of editing to your contact in order for it to. I still unable to. There is no support whatsoever from the dev. These two problems above have been there since the beginning and they failed to fix it or even attempted to improve it.

Emailed support about issue weeks ago and never heard back about the issue. Seems small, but after changing phones(now Pixel 6, was Pixel 3) I no longer get notifications to resume mining... I remember to check, maybe, once a week without the simple reminder. I have gone over all the setting in the app and in the phone to insure all notifications from this app are on several times, and it still doesn't do it. Still get the notification on the old phone if I keep it charged... Frustrating!

YOU can turn OFF the ads! I have used this app for years. I have ads off and have never noticed any ads, ever. I have a security circle of my own. Each day I get a reminder to tell me to mine my pi. I have completed all required check-list requirements. I do not mind my reminder/notification or having to click "mine" once a day. I have always had the same phone. I can only hope this will continue if I get a new phone. So far I enjoy the app for its potential.

100% sure this app is a scam. The only "mining" going on is of your contact info and social graph, and ad revenue from ads that are still displayed even when you have supposedly turned them off in the settings. The app uses no battery and practically no data, so there is obviously nothing going on. You can't add anyone by their username and instead have to sync your entire contact list, but even after doing so, it doesn't show anyone as being a user, despite the fact that I know at least two.

Giving only 4 stars until they fix the problem with adding contacts and your security circle. That is a big part of this and needs fixing so you can mine more/faster. But the app is simple to use and has a nice reminder for you to push the button to mine. For those who are complaining about the adds, you have a choice, use the toggle button to turn on or off. For a few annoying seconds you watch an add to help pay for this. If it bugs you that much, shut it off.

Interesting but half-baked. The developers seem to be experimenting on a new style of crypto, which is fine, but it's clunky. For example, you need to check the app after EXACTLY 24 hours, which means it always creeps later and eventually you lose whole days. It doesn't appear to be a "feature" of their system, I think they're just not very bright. Still an interesting experiment though.

Love the concept and the app seems easy to use. There's still just some glitches. For example, I've confirmed my name 3 times now and the countdown is still there letting me know I only have 11 days left to confirm my name. And when you go through the process, it states you only get 1 chance to confirm your name. 2nd thing: the "Creator Content Series" is opened and frozen on my screen. I'm sure the smart guys at Stanford will continue to fix these little bugs. Thank you! 😊

Frustrating app. Home screen blocks some navigation buttons so you can't access them. Everytime I try to verify my identity it keeps saying there's an error, then maybe after 30 attempts it goes through but then says error due to picture being either too blurry or a glare or too much background. Good luck getting ahold of any customer support.

The Pi app has been great for me. I even ran a node for Pi for a while. I have had 3 phones in 3 years and no problems transferring my account. There are ads in the app but they can be turned off. Also, you do not need to keep the app running in the background start mining then kill the app. see a lot of complaints about settings and adds, RTFM! There is a Q/A section on their website use it that's where I go when I need help.
