I really like the app and have been using in for a few years now. There is one current problem that I'm having: I like to go and change the title and picture of songs, and afterwards it will say "track info updated!" but when I play back the song, nothing will have changed and the info will reset. Very frustrating. That's the only reason why this isn't five stars.

Great music player. Better than the stock Samsung music player. I only wish that you could change the way that the song info is displayed. The song name is at the bottom. And on the lock screen it shows song name and album title, but not artist. If they fix this, this app would be perfect. 5 Star Update: They added the option to change album for artist, just as I mentioned above. Thanks guys! This app is great!

Its sorting could use some work so all the songs that start with "The" don't end up together, same thing with songs that start with "A " 3) There's a bug where if you change the album entry for a song without one, other songs with missing albums get the same album name. It's a bit annoying. Other than that, this is a really solid music player. I definitely recommend.

It was great until I tested my sleep playlist. Then it decided to autoplay outside of the playlist and I was woken up by loud music. The track sorting needs an option to sort by most recent too. Regardless, the whole point of a playlist is to stay within the list, not randomly choosing tracks. I would have paid for premium if these two items worked as they should.

I recently switched phones and redownloaded Pi Music Player (That I've ALWAYS loved) and all of a sudden I can no longer edit my music tracks. It keeps saying Oops something went wrong. I never had a problem with editing my music tracks before-is there someway I can fix this?? I Hate to have to switch to a different music player when I like everything else about Pi Music Player. Please help

First music app I've ever found that allows you to add a song more than once to a playlist. While it recognizes WMP playlists, it's not able to see the song location they point to, even when they're in the same folder. Speaking of which the app it's not able to navigate folders, only the media itself. While every other app I looked at doesn't allow a song to be queued up more than once in a row, at least they let me search and add entire folders.

Plays a song but then when the next song plays theres no sound coming from it just a bunch of clicks and i have to skip foward and backwards to let the song play. Overall before the update literally no issues. Hope this gets fixed asap cuz music is part of my daily life and this app helped with letting me customize my playlists however i want them.

This used to be the best music app I have found, even purchased the pro version. After recent update it stops when my screen locks. Even with permissions to allow it to keep playing is set to on... App was better before the update. Now it's almost useless 😔 Even uninstalling didn't work... I really wish I could give it negative stars for not being able to use your backup playlist that's stuck in another app 😔

Every time. Every single time I notice my phone is unusually hot and my battery has gone down at least three times faster than It should, I check the battery status under device care and sure enough there's pi music player at the top of the list somehow having sucked up 30-40 percent of the battery's usage despite me never once using it that day. This has been going on regularly for years and I've had enough.

life changes and so do apps. this one has lost the greatness it once was. looking for another long time keeper now. thankyou for your service 🇺🇸 hello your app has become unable to play many songs on my playlist that have been on there for years. the songs were still listed but the app failed after my update. i would love to utilize your player again if it will work and change my rating. I like it for riding my motorcycle.

Been using this app for years it was always great. Now since the newest Android system update it just flat out refuses to play any Playlist. I can start with one song but after that it will stop completely or act like it's going to play a song but sit on 00:00 and not play the song or anymore music after that. I think there's some kind of problem between it & something in the system update. EDIT Feb 19- the new update didn't fix it and now songs play at different volumes

Dude this thing is fantastic (so far) Like, almost everything is free and It plays just like you want it to and just as it should. Fantastic media player for your Android device. What's up with Google phones not coming with good base applications? Highly recommended for pixel users! It's so good at playing music on your device that it's almost annoying! Lol, equalizer and everything! Even plays while the screen is off! 🤩🔥 Absolute fire!

Looked for a new mp3 player for my phone because the one that came with my Android is horrible (Google play music doesn't recognize the order of songs on an album. It plays the songs in alphabetical order -how stupid can music player be?). Pi music player has worked perfectly for me so far. -Editing this review to add its one significant drawback: it skips the first half second of every track. Can't figure out why or how to stop it from doing that.

Best offline music player that I've found so far. The EQ sounds great. I've been using it for a couple weeks and I'm not inundated with ads (yet). My favorite feature, though, is that I can change a songs album art for the particular music file on my phone. I presume if I, for some reason, needed to, I could put a master mp3 on my phone, attach album art and then move it elsewhere and the album art would go with it (I haven't attempted that yet so fingers crossed).

I personally believe this app to be the absolute BEST of the best for playing music files (MP3s, etc.) on electronic devices!!! I have used this thing for at least 6 years and LOVE IT !!! The ONLY suggestion I can make for improvement is the addition of a 5 second and 10 second backup tap option during playback; using your finger to 'slide' the position indicator is not as easy as a tap back option would be, nor is it safer when driving.

Used to have a decent shuffle feature, now the app will play several songs in a row of the same artist (some artist may have 2-6 songs on a playlist of over 100 songs!), will select like 10-15 "favorite" tracks it will repeat even if "do not repeat" is enabled anytime I play a folder and does this for every folder unfortunately (even on 250+ song folders), some songs will NEVER PLAY unless I turn off shuffle and play the folder by track title. Ads aren't intrusive and can use dark mode at least

I like this app, it's simple and works. 5 stars only one complaint 1) Why can I not sort tracks by the track number? Seems to only sort by name or duration, please add this feature. Please be able to sort by track number. Other than that apps great. UPDATE: wow the developers actually listen to you when you email them, my request to be able to select an artists name or album now brings you to that view! Also track duration shows in drop-down view now. Excellent job! Changing review to 5 stars!

I first tried this app several years ago and within just a few minutes it was obvious to me what an excellent piece of software it was and I immediately bought the ads free version. It has not disappointed me since just the finest most useful music app in Play Store. We go to work in order to be paid and take care of our bills the developers are working hard for us so please support them and buy the ad free version I enjoy this both at home and in the car wonderful

This is by far the best music player app out there. I love that if I change devices, I don't have to spend hours redownloading all my music. It just automatically transfers. No interruptions and no ads. I've used this app from almost the beginning when it was released. I've never wanted any other music player. It does it all. Just download it. You won't be sorry. I promise.

New problem. The app won't play my music files, skips to the end of an album. It does this for much of my music. Worked OK a few weeks ago. Sleep timer problem solved. You must start playing music first then set the timer. I was setting the timer when I opened the app which, it turned out, wouldn't shut the player down. Raise my rating to 4. I haven't used any other features to determine how well/easy they are to use to give 5 stars.
