i will say, this app has a LOT of features and capabilities that is does well. Particularly editing or fixing photos. It probably does a lot more well but you will also find out that a substantial number of features are locked out. I understand needing compenstion for creating software but there are too many times ads get annoying and frankly bait and switch tactics just annoy the hell out of me. Dont pretend to give me a feature but then deny it till i pay.

I have enjoyed using this app, even with the ads as I don't mind them usually for the free services this app provides. However, the last couple days, I have had the Temu ad show up every time after I edit a photo and no "close ad" option comes up so I have to close the app to get back to the main screen. I have reported the ad multiple times to the ad choices and I am still shown the ad. I do not support these horrible companies and I do not want to see the ad again. Remove ad for higher rating.

Just tried it a little. I'm no high techie, but tried a few things with a pic in my gallery. Each operation was quite simple to figure out, use and all worked beautifully. *Still haven't used it a lot, but just cropped a pic & played w/some effect like vignetting. I was impressed at how gradual it can be where many others are either too sharp a contrast or non-existant.

I love this app and still consider it a one of the top apps, especially because the options available in the free version are outstanding, however, I now have to give them 4☆ due to this last update(skin smoother) seems antiquated, more like a step backwards. Resaon being... Some don't have or feel the need to smooth their face overall, it was the more preferred method to be able to brush the area, spot, or section that may have needed it, not that area and an entire area outside of my choosing.

This app is an overall good photo/art editor. With tons of features. This is my go to for cropping. Very easy and doesnt over write your original photo. There is a feature I wish they would add: grid lines with the feature of how many lines vertical and horizontal I made need. I paint so I grid photos. I have to use a second program for that.

I really like the features of this app! I just (tried) to use another editing app, and i couldn't believe it!: No tutorials, no way to positon the photos under the effects, no shape masks, no previews, and the effects took forever to load! I'm sticking with Photo Director! It does stink, though, that even with the premium version, i stll have to pay for so much stuff.

Really great app. A lot available for a free option and really good. However, you can pay for even better options. New animation is perfection. Edit Sept 2020, when using the pen, app closes when I take too long or maybe use too much idk. It is infuriating. Love the app but the amount of coloring in I did, coupled with the no save.. hurts. Revised: I havent been using the pen for long, but layout has changed. Can't seem to find the basic borders anymore, and yet i have access to more

Too many ads and no unlimited trial for at least a few pics before the extra features lock-up . It WOULD be nice to SEE the features working or how they turn out before it locks and I have to buy features in the app . Features that ARE open , are clumsy and no real clear tutorial on how to use them Maybe throw in a vid tutorial . Used it for a day then uninstalled it . Use a few other AI apps for pic cleaning , and they were just as junky . Waste of time ( & Mbs ) .

You can get some fun things done such as crop, AI enhance, a nice set of modification filters that are pretty cool. I don't know why it tells me my phone isn't compatible with some advanced filters, when I'm able to do them in other apps. Erasing areas of overlays is frustrating, working blind while trying to peek over your hand. Still, I recommend the app -- it really is full of options to do fun things with your photo. And your phone is probably not as cheap as mine so can do all the features.

Had this app on my previous phone and thought well of it. I had never edited photos all that much, so it was great for me. Cool features and pretty easy to use. When I got a new phone, I installed PD. I am really disappointed with the app now. Features that were free or one free use per day, are no longer. The text feature isn't what it was before. Seems like letters are either black or white only. Neither border option seems to work at all. I'd rate it four stars if it worked as before.

Seems like a nice enough app, but like all photo enhancers, there's a monthly subscription Rather than a buy outright option and unless you're taking constant photos of yourself and editing, like if you're on YouTube or social media, it's not worth it to the average person. They don't allow you to try enough photos to really get a good feedback you get a chance at one photo and the change was minimum, so it's a no-go.

**1/9/24 Update** I pay for this tool and the "Body Reshaping" feature has never worked despite many attempts to load different body images. **Changing from 5 stars to 3 stars until fixed** I'm very disappointed despite this otherwise being an outstanding tool. **PREVIOUS REVEIW** PhotoDirector does photo editing exceptionally well, plus unlimited ways to be artistic. I payed for PhotoDirector because I'm so pleased with its power compared to other photo apps. Nice work, developers.

Dropped from a 5 star to 1. Was using the AI replacement and was testing before I purchased yearly because it seems to be better than others when filling in areas. Also gives you up to 3 options for replacements. Within the last 2 weeks it hasn't been working properly and always errors out. Im holding off my subscription. Thanks! For the new update 5/6/24 and removing the AI replacement completely. I will not be purchasing any subscription to this app. Kinda ignorant if you ask me.

Been paying for subscription for several years, didn't use it much until recently when they added AI Scene & AI Replace which now, no longer work. AI Scene option is still there but the features are for original the original scenes and the AI Replace is no longer accessible or is hidden. Either way now it's no longer useful or interesting.

Either I can't figure it out, or the marketing is misleading. I thought this app let you face swap between your pictures. I was trying to find a way to "fix" a photo where my sister was sneezing but everyone else looks great by swapping out her face, but this app only has "AI face swap" with ai generated models. It's been really frustrating.

It's a great app. However, the AI Replace option randomly decides to tell you to come back in 10 minutes due to high volume which is very inconvenient if you're working with before and after pictures & need to create shirt collars, etc. on clients for your website. There was a point where it didn't work for a few days and put my site building on hold. They mentioned in their reply to this issue that they've reconsidered their NSFW results, and since then, it's worked. Time will tell.

I've been using this app for years for my business and personal, I like it so much I pay for a subscription. It's very user friendly and very fast, provides every adjustment I need efficiently. The new AI background feature is awesome BUT definitely needs work. It's very very slow and getting it provide the scenery is very difficult won't produce simple things like diamonds, pearls, certain specific colors, backgrounds etc. I hope this improves but I'm still very happy with features

I really liked this app until recently they added extra charges after you already had to subscribe, which makes no sense. On top of it, the AI replace is so finicky that half the time it won't work and says sensitive content when you're only trying to fix someone's eye or hand. I'll ne uninstalling just based off of the fact that I'm subscribed to the app but have to pay for extra stuff.

I have the paid version and do not like the recent May update where they removed features I primarily used. The features let you render images in different art styles. They replaced the feature with face swap. Quite the downgrade in comparison. I would like the option to switch back to the previous version. Update, thank you for restoring the tools I was using. Now this app is worth what I pay for. 🥳

Great that it's working again, but now it charges extra for AI on top of a subscription fee that is NOT CHEAP. This is after months of recurrent server problems and features disappearing without notice. Somebody out there must have their act more together than this. They keep finding ways to raise their price. Let's list alternatives. Try AI Mirror.
