Has been very good until I got a new pixel 8 pro. Now there have been no updates and unable to do anything with photos except shrink them. Please contact me

Can easily compress pictures size & resolutions, simple UI, easy to use, but sometimes the convert PNG to JPG feature doesn't work for some images

Multiple selection ability, keep image name with 2 additional character in first, keep width and height ratio, good output image quality, but can't keep date of image.

I really like this app. It works as advertised and resizing batch images is pretty straight forward.

Do not update. If you get the older version and install on Android 12 and 13, it works fine. This newer version doesn't even allow file overwrite on Android 10, which it did.

It used to be very good App. However, new update has ruined it. After the update App can't overwrite original image, so you will end up with multiple photos. @developers please fix it or roll back to older version.

Should get 4-and-a-half stars as missing high quality/low compression option (the best is 95%). On positive sides: option to retain EXIF, can enter new image size, gives very good results.

The album names are not properly sorted, therefore it is hard to find files/folders. It is very helpful if the app has browser so i can locate the files/folders.

I'd rather keep it private

Use it all the time. If ever I'm sending a picture I always zip it up using Photozip before sending. Really easy to use.

Doesn't work, i have images stored on SD card and selected overwrite option, but nothing happens. Also sharing from internal storage doesn't obey replace settings. Further it doesn't have any option to browse files either using system gallery app or through file explorer, the built in option misses many images

***UPDATE: It's now Mar 2020, and I still love Photoczip!!!*** I've been compressing large batches of photos already on my phone, and I am very pleased with this free and efficient app. ***It's mid-Jan 2016, and I have to say THANK YOU for saving me $money$ on data! I can easily share lots of photos on social media or via text/email, and not have to be worried about going over my monthly data limit.

Only app that has been able to do what I need: batch select thousands of images and compress them down to a fraction of the size, with the ability to replace them where they are instead of the output being stuck to a random directory. Great work, highly recommend.

Used to be my goto app for file compression but since Jan 2024 it's broken. File compressed but not saved - sorry developers but you broke a good piece of software. Running v7.4 & still broken, time to look for something that works. Just wish developers would throw us a bone & indicate if issue is being worked on & when it might get fixed - but nothing posted.

Great utility to save tons of space on your phone and when saving photos in the cloud. Easy to send a group of photos to this app and have them automatically resized and compressed without any user interaction. Especially useful for pixel phone photos shot with portrait mode that Google Photos insists on backing up in the original size (usually 4 to 6 MB each!)

Broken! I've loved this app for years now! Simple, easy to use ... Sadly, the latest update has broken it completely!!!! Another update today (2024-01-11) and still nothing gets saved. Tried validating the default directory and it shows one thing but sends me my downloads directory. Something is wrong with the paths, not sure what to do. (2024-01-13) new update v7.4, no change, still doesn't work.

I love the app, but one issue I don't understand is how the folder list is generated. It randomly refuses to show some recent folders I make unless I make even newer ones. They appear fine in other gallery and file apps. I've even tried the rescan media app, clearing media storage and app data for that and this one, restarting the device, etc. Doesn't make sense, happened on both brands of phone I used.

The application does some more functionality than other apps with the same functions. There already is an small file that you can download at least on Mac that convert png to jpg by drag and drop. It works like a charm with no problems whatsoever. It is easy to forget that you have on your computer, though once you find it.

Good quality resizing, generally easy to use. Can do batches. No ads. You can overwrite original photos. (Default is copy to another folder.) To share images with other apps, go to the Optimized folder - select a resized image and you get share/delete options. This is a bit confusing, because if you don't select an image, you won't see the share/delete options. Rename function is from 3 dots menu. Needs function to rename before saving, and also a batch rename function with sequential numbering.

Very basic but seems to do its job. A few issues: when changing where you want images to save it doesn't allow you access to anything except (for me) my Downloads folder. Secondly, the changes I made in Settings are showing still in Settings except they aren't actively working at all. The app is still doing things based off of its original settings.

Edit... Why can't I just select items in the file tree instead of having to look through the albums it suggests which don't include what I want?! Also I realized when I switched my camera mode to HEIC that it can't open or edit high efficiency image format, which makes it less useful to me. I don't want to do everything in JPEG! Quickly compresses my photos with good quality and makes them ready to upload. No ads, all free, but I encourage other users who appreciate it to donate like I did.
