Two strengths, one weakness. Strengths: 1) Actually works to block my blacklist (a lot of apps just don't function). 2) Lets me block entire area codes, or other special number rules. Weakness: I can export/import a log of blocked calls (never needed), but I can't export/import my blacklist. So every time I change devices, I have to rebuild my blacklist from a handwritten list. The inability to read/write a plaintext blacklist file is a weird omission.

This is great app. Don't get me wrong. But the thing I'm having problems with is when I'm on a phone call I have the setting on block call that are not in my contacts send to voicemail it block the number but it will disconnect my phone call and it will not send to voicemail. That's annoying. That's my only problem. I have with this app.

Update. I have had this app since last year worked great until I got a new phone still blocks calls but now for some reason it stays on for a couple days then it'll go off by itself and I'll only notice when I get an unwanted call. So still works but cuts off after a couple of days. Still cuts off after a couple days of being on uninstalling it was good while it lasted.

Works pretty well and happy with it for the most part. Took off a star because if I'm in the middle of a call and the app blocks another incoming call, my call gets dropped. Also my screen turns on whenever calls are blocked even though notification is turned off. Overall a simple app that does its job.

My quest for a new blocker continues. This one is now allowing callers not in my contacts through for a second (all are supposed to be blocked) to where I can see the call coming in and get the option to answer or regret and I can hear them and the background noise where they are. Pretty sure they can hear the same for me. The call then disconnects. The point of a blocker is so my phone doesn't notify me of the call and doesn't connect at all. Moving on.

Amazing app. I wanted to find an app that would let me block all incoming calls with a easy push button so that I could not be reached on demand..... and it will send all the calls to voicemail instantly.....it simulates that my phone is dead so when I don't want to be contacted I have a socially acceptable excuse for not answering them when I just don't want to talk to anyone. Works perfectly. *Oh no! * I lost the phone in the house and it died again! OH DARN! I WANTED TO CHAT TOO. :)

Update: it blocks the calls, but my phone will still ring for half a second before sending them to voice-mail, which can be irritating if you receive a lot of robo calls. I used Calls Blacklist at first because it blocks calls not on your contact list, but that app stopped working with Android 12, so I got this app instead and paid for the premium version since it does the same thing.

Works pretty good. Some times there is a half ring on an unknown number which I'm ok with. The first time entering my white list I had to do it manually. The 2nd time (my fault) I used the import funtion. An improvement I would like to see is a random digit to be entered by the non-white listed-caller to eliminate to the last few unwanted voice mails.

I sent an email to the developer, no response. I'm trying to find out - it says you can send callers not in contact list to voicemail. But it also has a setting that says "hang up or answer and hang up". I just want callers not in my contact list to be sent to voicemail. Is that what this app does? It seems none are sent to voicemail, they just get disconnected. Please advise. Thanks.

I've been a happy camper with this app for a long, long time (5 stars) - set to voicemail callers not in contact list. Unfortunately, frustrated with failing Google Duo audio/video calls - after a lot of debugging, discovered that Call Blocker blocks ALL Google Duo calls, regardless if caller is in contact list or specifically whitelisted. Google Duo is now a default video calling app on a lot of phones (e.g.: Samsung) and this app is currently incompatible with its use.

I'm not very techie.. it was easy to operate.. I just allow my contacts in settings and the Call Blocker takes care of the rest.. thank you.. I was averaging 20-30+ calls an hour.. I like to record stuff and even with my phones "do not disturb" some could still break in and ruin recording.. AND.. there was no way I found to turn off the reminder that also interrupted recordings.. if it was silent notification, there would be a hiccup in recording.. Thanks so much .. no more hiccups or interups

this app is fantastic I was getting a lot of unwanted calls and also getting numbers that weren't in my contacts. so I installed call blocker and it has been great it has stopped all those calls from coming through to my phone if you are looking for a great app this it and also worth having great work developers.

Hi I have noticed that the app is no longer showing in the notification list and no icon showing at the top. The app previously did this. I am now not certain it's even running. Would you be able to advise please I have noticed that the app lock function is not working now and there is nothing in the settings, has it been removed? I have updated it recently. Thanks.

Only block exact numbers. When it blocks, the phone doesn't ring & the call is logged. UI is simple and clean but has an ad that partially blocks your screen. Blocking "numbers beginning with" or "containing" does not work. Uninstalling as I'm looking for a feature this app fails to deliver. Would have paid for a pro version if it does work.

Hey you all, This Aap works great. Better than great. Fantastic!!! You have set me free. It does exactly 💯 what you said it would do. My phone only rings for calls in my contact list. I was turning off my ringer because of no name, spam, private numbers, and calls from people I never heard of and didn't want to hear from. I'm finally able to turn my ringer back on like a normal person again. I was getting upwards of 75 unknown calls a day. Constant ringing and / or vibrating. Thank you😁😁.

Ads freeze and won't play, and I can't use my phone's nav buttons (app switch, home, back at the bottom of the screen) because it all redirects to the page of whatever ad is showing. ....which is extremely dangerous if an ad happens to be malicious. But closing and reopening the app every single time I do anything in it is the closest to functioning I can get it. I'd consider buying the app if I could actually try it

rating after 1 week, so far so good, set to allow contacts only, sends people straight to voice-mail. I tried about 3 or 4 other apps before this one, I'm sticking with this one as long as I can. thank you app makers! all your basic features, doesn't have super fancy ones such as block specific area codes, but it's totally free, very limited ads, can turn push notifications off, so it runs quietly. UPDATE 1 MONTH LATER, I have notifications off, contacts only on, this is the best app I've used
