The art style is great, but the game is even better! The mechanics are pretty simple but give way to a whole complex system of buffs and debuffs where you can choose the cards that work best with your playstyle (btw, barriers cards are great). But if you're looking for drawbacks, the game has ads and certain actions keep trying to get you to use the in-game currency it buy the ad block; which wasn't too surprising for a f2p. Overall, great game. Just wish the develops were less hungry for $$.

it's a pretty well done card based rouge like, good art, a fair amount of strategy when facing enemies. For a mobile free game it's well worth the play, i'd have given it a basic five review however some of the in game ads are super intrusive and will literally just not give you the option to close them, forcing you to have to close and reopen the game.

The art is incredible but the gameplay is only alright. I like the combat system but the enemies have very little variety and there's a lot of stalling fights so you can prepare for the next one, so progressing in the game can start to feel exhausting. If you're interested in the game I'd recommend playing a run because it's really cool until after an hour or two where you've seen all there is to see.

One of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Visuals simple yet lovely and fantastic. Plenty of free collectibles such as gameplay buffs, cosmetics, and even hidden lore if you're into that. The gameplay is a perfect concoction of simple cards that turn into large and everchanging scenarios which grow in difficulty as you progress. Fun enough to love, addicting enough to keep my attention. Can even be played offline. Purchases are nice and not intrusive like other mobile apps.

I really want to like this game, but it starts out too easy, and you end up seeing pretty much all there is to see before it gets remotely challenging. A lot of card archetypes are useless, and you end up just picking good cards instead of building interesting synergies, even at higher difficulties. The game has a solid core and a huge expansion might make it excellent, but I probably won't stick around to find out.

The game's pretty fun and decently complex, and I love the dark aesthetics. However, I don't know if it's a fault of my device or not, but the font of the texts in-game are way too big. Often getting cut off at the side or bottom of my screen, or the words are getting cut, and the remaining letters are being forced down another line. Could there be a way to fix this? Maybe an option to adjust text size? Cause it's obvious to me that this game wasn't standardized for English.

I don't normally like these kind of games, but this is an exciting and fun take on the card game rpg genre. It does, however, progress pretty quickly and you can unlock most of the upgrades pretty quick. For example, I went all the way to finishing the main arcade sequence and immediately unlocked all but two ruby upgrades. Anyways, I'm really enjoying this and think I'll be playing it in the future!

This game is amazing! The art style, game mechanics, and music all make for a game that I find really captivating. There are also very interesting challenges and risks I've not really seen done before. Prime example: every move you make, you can't take back without paying a very small fee in rubies. This game is simple, yet paying attention is of utmost importance. The buffs/debuffs and status effects are also pretty unique. There are also no attempt limits, so play to your heart's content.

just started today, but I like it so far. Interesting mechanics. There's a degree of strategy involved, but it's at an accessible enough level where it's easy to get the hang of, even if card games aren't usually your thing. Like the aesthetic, LOVE the soundtrack. I also like that the story seems to largely rely on images to tell it, as opposed to a bunch of text. Pretty fun so far.

I'm usually not one for Roguelikes but this game is pretty good, the game makes you think on what to plan in a fight and the aftermath of the fight as well. Haven't made it to the part where they hide the enemies cards but I imagine that it would make gameplay more stressful, and exciting and more importantly less boring. Expeditions are pretty long so I'm glad for the ability to save anywhere.

Honestly it's not bad. Definitely a different spin on the card roguelike genre and you did it well. I don't want to suggest certain changes because you should do your own thing. Unique differences include: card cooldowns vs deck digging, Buff/debuff limitations, items instead of relics, only two paths that converge (or maybe that is just easy mode), and much more. Not just a re-skin of the genre. Nice work.

This game is actually really good. I like the strategy based gameplay, and how diverse the levels and monsters/ demons are. I do wish there was more Reina skins, but after this it's an all out good game. I would also like to add that there is sometimes a bug when I start some battles. Whenever I enter into a fight, I am not able to place cards, and I have to close the game then go back in. Great game 10/10 would recommend to others. :)

Cardplay is pretty simple and straightforward. It gives points toggleble upgrades so you have some sort of achievement after a run. One of the major downsides are the random ads that will popup after a couple battles or so. The game is dark mode themed, while the ads are very bright. Advertisements have never hurt more. On the flipside, ads support the developers so if somehow ads are able to incorporate a darker theme, playing his game would be more satisfying and less painful.

considering that this was made by one person, it's a well-made roguelike. it's unique gameplay gimmick lends itself quite a few unique decks to experience. not to mention, there is an intriguing story that I myself haven't fully uncovered. the gameplay could be a bit faster but considering that the person definitely specializes more in art and story-telling, it's a fantastic game. try it out!

Hi! Got into the game again after a long break from my "no comment" 5 stars. Just one thing to say now. If a ad plays and you click out, there is a chance that the music will start up again and will layer over the one already playing. You can stack this glitch by clicking out and back in. Note: I deleted my save data to get a fresh start for the changes since the review of 1/30/2021.

I don't usually like card games but this one pulled me right in. The entire game has been a 10/10 in terms of art style, characters (I.e Reina, Lucia), design, enemies, cards, gameplay, and the awesome interactions with certain cards together! It all flowed incredibly smoothly and has plenty of replayability. It can get quite challenging at times but not crushingly difficult. I absolutely cannot wait for the sequel!!

It would be a 5... but I am giving a 4 because it just feels like its missing something. More social interaction maybe. I put hours and hours into this game, and dont get me wrong, it IS an amazing game. It has a nice little story and it is really easy to learn to play. It just didn't have anything to keep me wanting to play after going through 4 diamond phases. Overall, I cant wait to see what improvements you make if you ever make #2. It's a great game with great potential. Keep it up!

Genuinely surprised by how complex and intricate the gameplay is, while its a little hard to grasp at first the combat is fairly balanced and oddly satisfying. Cards work well together, making synergies is fun and intuitive, and - i kinda have to mention it - the sprites are cute and I like the style. my only issues are with lag spikes that sometimes happen, and the somewhat confusing grammar (which isn't bad, but definitely noticeable) worth checking out, if anyone happens to be interested.

I've come back to the game after losing it on my old phone and forgetting for a while. I love the aesthetic and art style, and the gameplay is phenomenal. I would love nothing more than to give it 5 stars, but I've encountered a bug that makes the story impossible to follow at the moment. None of the cutscene videos will actually play, they all just reveal themselves as broken videos with timeline bars and options for playback, but don't actually play. Please fix this so I can enjoy your art. <3

enjoyable free game with enough replayability to be entertaining. ads are skippable, but some can be watched for bonuses. the storyline is pretty simple, and unlocked in pieces as you progress. understanding the backstory is not necessary to play. the gameplay is straightforward, but challenging enough to keep me thinking about my moves
