This is an unreliable app. After the update I have not been able to successfully open it. Continues to say it's us not you but it doesn't change. It's really a bad app.

Getting frustrated. For the last many weeks the app reported my Google wallet was in developer "test" mode and I couldn't charge through the app. Today that problem disappeared. Great! But I see two $100 charges plus my gas charge on my card. What's going on?! EDIT: I did contact support, and they argued with me. The app should not leave multiple pre-authorizations on the card. How do people with less credit use it? Revise the pre-auth to reflect the value of actual gas pumped.

I think they deleted my previous rating. Perhaps it was harsh but I did not lie. This app is a hot pile of TRASH. Extremely unreliable; throws out random error msgs when you try and enter the wash. How you guys don't feel embarrassed for the state of your app is ridiculous. You guys need some serious quality control or audit or debug or SOMETHING. GET THIS WORKING PROPERLY ! IT'S 2024 AND THE APP IS MORE OF AN INCONVENIENCE THAN AN UPGRADE ! Embarrassing !

Simple and less waiting in the cold to get the pump activated from inside the car App doesn't always load well or it would be 5 stars. Some savings or bonuses if you check the app ahead of when you fill up.

The graphical interface is pleasant but the back end technology or coding has issues. I often have problems login in even with a Password Manager. Last time, it said something along "Locked, too many login attempts". When I reset the password, the app kept sending 6 identical Verification codes in rapid succession. Boom Boom boom. I kept copying the code and it said Fail. Took 3 times to work. Hopefully the Dev team can fix things up.

I was asked to update your app., in doing so I was informed that both my phone and tablet are no longer compatible with your update. My devices still work great and this only means that I will be deleting your app. from my two devices. Maybe you should consider making your app. work on older device too so not to discriminate. Bye

If you want the app to work the app storage and cache must be cleared before almost every launch. Something is being cached or stored client side that isn't happy when connecting back to the server in a subsequent launch. It's crazy that this has been this way for years. Do the app devs have a QA team or anyone that knows what they are doing?

I have to change my review from 5 to 1 star, because the app stopped working for about 6 months and the support is helpless. I called again today and made a discovery. Apparently you can use only an RBC credit card with this app. I had a visa card registered before. Looks like because of it I can't access the card settings and can't use the one that is there because it was Visa. Is this OK with everyone? Are the App developers getting kickback from RBC? I do not understand anything anymore.

What is even the point of this app? It hardly ever works. Last year, it went down for two whole months due to a cyberattack. Since then, it stops working every now and then. Even when the app does work, I can't always use the no-contact pay because the GPS never recognizes when I'm at a petro station. Truly awful

This poorly developed app has wasted so much of my time the past 2 years it's not even funny. Go spend a penny on fixing it, it's been long enough. I already went through customer service 2 years ago. Each and every customer is aware and frustrated about the useless app we have to rely on when filling uo and washing cars. Shell and Esso apps are flawless. Lazy cheap company can't even fix a 2-3 year old app malfunction

An app is useless, save your time. 7 out of 10 times when using fuel up, it prompted you an error message. And you cannot get pre authorize at the cashier, they need to know the amount, I don't even know how much would fill up the full tank. I rarely have any problem with other competitor's app.

I'd give a zero Stars if that was an option. Every time I try to use the app it won't load ! Just a spinning circle on the screen . And then if you are lucky enough to get on the app the Redemption is never available ! It's pitiful that a company like this worth billions can't have a decent app that is user-friendly and actually works !!! Horrible !!

Unable to create new account. Completely useless app without it. Support was unable to fix the issue on the phone and the live chat session was terminated without another word and with no confirmation after they could not fix the email verification. Basically hang-up and ignore level of service from the support team. So yea, one-star. Keep my points points, and see if i ever shop here again.

This app needs an entire re-think. It rarely ever loads, consistently crashes even when it manages to start-up, and is not really functional outside of a few isolated cases. It's a great illustration of form over function: it looks pretty when it loads, but if it only works 1 in 20 times, does anyone care? Such a shame for a "flagship" gas retailer...

Unreliable. It used to work, but not anymore. I forgot my physical card at home and I wanted to wash the car. The app does not even open "We can't load the app" error. I reset all permissions, and I even re-installed it. It's not working. Why bother launching and promoting and app if it's not even launching?!

I haven't had problems with the app other than when you try to add a credit card for touchless payment. It's impossible. The same recurring error message. Now I've received an email from Petro-Canada notifying me that after September 3rd my local station is going to require pre-pay for fuel. Can't see how that will be possible with a broken feature that is key to that roll-out! Error message is very generic: Unable to Register Card. Please check that you've entered your credit card information"

The app doesn't work on mobile data. I have a US number and probably due to APN settings the app doesn't launch, tried on Android as well as iPhone, same issue. Works fine on wifi, but sadly i can't carry my wifi router around. The app developers seem to be clueless because i see multiple ppl raising the same issue and it hasn't been addressed yet or may be they don't seem to care. And please stop responding with automated replies asking for customer information.

Couldn't open the app at all while on an LTE connection. Literally had spent 10-20 minutes running to restart the app, restart the phone and reinstall the app to get it to work while in a car wash line only to end up leaving without a wash. It works again now that I'm connected to WiFi..

This app was great to begin with, but recently has had significant issues with consistency on Android, requiring frequent reinstalls, and sometimes failing to load entirely. Also, I cannot find an option to turn off pesky notifications asking to enable precise location. I would urge the development team to iron out these issues soon

Great idea, terrible execution. Over 80% of the time, the app fails to open with an error message saying the app can't load right now, try again later. It needs to work reliably, regardless of network conditions. I've tried a dozen times to redeem points only to have the app fail and sgore personnel tell me they can't do anything without the app-generated barcode for redemption.
