Occasional Fancy Knits

I love this app! The ONLY reason it loses a star is that my phone cannot connect to create an account. Otherwise I love everything about the app. Symptom tracking, projected start dates, cycle averages, and there are a ton of feature I don't use that may be helpful in the future - sleep tracking, weight tracking, food journal. It really is a women's whole life tracker.

This USED to be a great app. no longer. I've used it for over 4 years. Now it suddenly wants me to pay (again!!) for full access to data I've already logged! Also, instead of letting me manually add my period start and end days, it automatically fills them in. This is a problem because I have irregular length periods (4-7 days). The whole point is to be able to track your personal life. GREEDY FAIL.

This is the best app!! I have used this for years now and just realized I've not given a review. The save/recovery feature is awesome for switching phones so you don't lose your data. Even my doctor likes this app! I've found it is very, very accurate- but that depends on how accurate your data entry is (start/end dates, etc). I can't say enough good things about this app - and it's free!!

Not the most user friendly interface to edit things but for a free app. I'm not going to complain. Update: 5 years later. Something changed and since I no longer use the email I signed up for the account (same Google profile, but login a old yahoo acct) I lost all my data when I switched phones. I used this app for years. Luckily I chose a different app for my daughter and have all 7 yrs from her first period to current, saved.

I've been using this (deluxe) app since 2013. I liked everything about it up until I had to re download on my new phone. Now they pester you about paying $9.99 monthly subscription and I can't find how to change the background which I loved doing the most. They shouldn't have changed it. It wasn't broken so it didn't need fixing. So for everyone that bought the deluxe version back then, to have extras do we get our money back since y'all decided to start charging people monthly subscriptions?

I have used many apps for period tracking and TTC and this one is my favorite. It's easy to use but also has a lot of options. You can track your period, TTC, and other habits. Every category has a separate tab so it's easy to use and is not overwhelming. You can input your period moods and symptoms and their severity. You can track intimacy and input and customize your cervical observations and BBT. You can track your weight, exercise, nutrition etc. You can also track your pregnancy!

In 7 years ive never had an issue with this app. 4 pregnancies and 3 babies later... here i am using it STILL for my period and in 2 years, another baby.!! THANK YOU Period Tracker.! Best Advantages to the customer: weight tracking, automatically tells you when you are ovulating, you can track how far in advance your moods will change by saving them when you lay down to go to bed and reading them from the month is easy. Worst Advantage: If you use multiple devices, it wont register your spare.

Just everything you want and need in a period tracker! Nothing extra, absolutely no ads, options for tons of symptoms and to add your own symptoms if they don't have them, reminds you of when it's most likely to come and even gives you an estimate based on your past cycles of your average cycle length and your fertile window. All this for free?? Yup, I'm about to go ahead and buy the deluxe. Not sure what it adds but just know this app is worth the support

This was once a 4 star app for me but for my last 3 cycles this app has been extremely off. I've given it ample amount of time to correct itself but it seems stuck on "53 days". I'm not sure who's cycle lasts for "53 days" but it sure isn't mine. The main screen has continuously shown that my cycle is coming in 23 days and has failed to countdown those 23 days. Unfortunately I'm deleting this app after enjoying it for years, also it will not let me delete my account which is frustrating.

11/27/21 Edit: Downgrading from 5 to 3 stars, the monthly backup has stopped working. App says my last backup was in June. Not the first time this has happened either, there's a 2 year gap in backups that I only noticed when I upgraded to a new phone last year. Logging in and out of the app and uninstalling and reinstalling don't seem to fix it. Old Review: Really useful to track my period, my symptoms, and just see how long my cycle lasts.

I have used this app for years and loved it. However lately, the last few months probably a little longer it has been horrible at tracking periods. Even though, I have mine set to a 28 day cycle and even changed it to 10 days just for kicks its still predicting a 40 day cycle. All my old info is still there, but it seems to have lost its ability to track. I forgot to add my last period and it just did it for me anyways. I'm disappointed, but I'll be looking for a new app.

I like this app for just keeping track of periods, but when I went into TTC (trying to conceive mode) some quirk of the app won't let me see any of the options. I tried signing up for premium, but it still covers everything and won't let me scroll. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but all that did was delete my most recent info. Looks like it still has some quirks to fix.

This app has more versatility than a lot of similar ones. If you have lady tracking needs that aren't necessarily tracking your period start date, this is useful. My one gripe: when I add a symptom, despite the cute stickers that let you track severity, it shows up on the calendar as a grey dot, indicating symptom logged. So when I go to report to my gynecologist I have to go through day by day and write it down on paper.

I love this app. I've been using it for years. I can keep track of my periods, flows, moods, weight, and other personal information I like to keep track of. Update.....3/2019 > Still love this App! Have changed phones several times, can take app & info with you by just backing up regularly...and of course before you switch phones 💞 Never have had a problem!

Finally!! No more counting days on the calendar to see if I'll be on my period for a particular event. Very easy to use. I uninstalled a previous app and switched to this one. I like that I can easily tap the date and note that my period has started or ended, and I like the symptom symbols. I also like how I'll adjust your projected cycle based on previous and current cycle. Very helpful, and my 15 year old uses it, too.

Edited in 2020: Been using this for years and love it. But they just decided to take away a feature that had been helping, then put it on the premium so that could charge for it. I feel like that's a dirty thing to do, and with zero warning. I had endometriosis for years couldn't accurately track my cycle. Even through a birth and miscarriage, it is still right on target. The standard ovulation tracker is not accurate, but you can log in your own ovulation on the deluxe version.

App comes in handy for doctor's visits, especially your yearly trip to the gynecologist, but predictions are very inaccurate. *Update* would really like a way to get rid of that "baby dance" ad-as someone who is about to enter perimenopause and is infertile, it is useless and slightly depressing. Maybe age targeted ads would be more appropriate...not interested in still trying to conceive at 49 (even though I still have periods).

Been using for 5 or 6 years now. The app has transferred easily over multiple phone changes and it accurately predicts my cycle. It's also useful for when my doctor asks about my last cycle. I just wish the app had a cleaner and more simple look. I've thought about moving to the deluxe version, but the themes that they have offered there don't suit my fancy. It's looked the same for years. I feel like it's time for a general redesign.

I've been using this app since I was 23, so simple to use, just click the widget or open app hit start period and your done, when you're done click end period, simple and easy. You can also track ovulation, intimacy, and if you have acne or bloating if that's what you're into. If I had to say a negative, it would be the themes are a bit teenager, it's been years and they have not changed or added any new ones, so it would be nice to have some change in that area

Annoyed that the most recent update switched to a pay yearly premium. I paid for the premium version of this app to have an ad free experience years ago. Now they want $10/year to be ad free. They added other benefits that I don't really want. I just don't want ads in my app. Otherwise it's a great app.
