More About Peglin - A Pachinko Roguelike

The award-winning roguelike-deckbuilder Peglin is finally available on Android! This version lets you try it before you buy it with unlimited access to the first third of the game and a one-time purchase to own the complete game and all future updates!
The dragons have been popping peglins and stealing all of your gold for as long as you can remember. Enough is enough. It's time to venture through the woods, conquer the fortress, and delve into the heart of the dragon's lair to take back what's yours and teach those dragons a lesson.

Peglin plays like a combination of Peggle and Slay the Spire. The enemies are tough, and if you're defeated your run is over, but you've got powerful orbs with special effects and incredible relics that influence both your enemies and the physics you'll use to defeat them.

Features:
- Collect and upgrade powerful orbs and relics to defeat the monsters and bosses that stand in your way.
- Fight enemies with Pachinko-like gameplay - hit more pegs to do more damage. Use crit potions, refresh potions, and bombs wisely.
- Explore a new map every time, with different orbs, enemies, and surprises along the way.

Excellent game. Fun gameplay, decent build variety, enough difficulty to be engaging. Only cons to keep it from 5 stars: -Needs tooltips. I shouldn't have to google keywords. -Not perfect for touchscreens. Some shots require exact percision, and after lining it up and lifting your finger the aim often moves. Could be fixed by allowing firing while aiming, maybe as a toggle option.

Game is great. 100% worth the money. Easy to learn, and the roguelike aspect keeps me engaged. It's challenging without being impossible. I have only a couple critiques for it: Some of the abilities (orbs and relics both) are somewhat confusing in their explanation. They just need some clarity. Secondly, I'd like more level designs and maps: having the same ones gets a little repetitive, as well as more character classes. Last, give Roundrel a different starting orb than the base class's dagger.

(Full game) This game is so fun! Every time you orb throw/attack it is different and fun to watch. Plenty of strategy is involved with the randomness. Also just traveling to your branching paths can be a challenge when pegs get in the way. I've been waiting for this to get ported from the PC and it works great. THE CONTROLS for aiming would be way better if you could just slide your finger left or right to aim. Aiming is awkward and my finger impedes my vision.

Solid game. Solid Demo period, and a 9$ full game is worth it in my opinion. However, it seems that I lost 3 levels of Cruciball without noticing until finishing my recent run, and there's no way to recover progress. Also, the Constricting Chains relic is broken on mobile. Any time you set up your shot and hit fire, your shot will line up in the closest direction available to the fire button itself. A bit frustrating when you can't choose the other 3 options. Still, great game overall.

Blown away! I mean. It's got the basics of a peggle and other bouncy ball game but it adds a new layer with enemies. That would be cool along but add that each ball has its own powers and you can upgrade them and change them. I'm sorry I found this game totally by accident. No one recommended it to me and there wasn't an ad for it. The price is actually not bad if there's a decent amount of levels behind the pay wall. There's alot of replayability here too. Over all great job!

It's alright for being just a demo and the full version is only $9. Options for replay are pretty limited, though, so you have to decide if it's worth it. Without buying the full game, it gets boring after the third playthrough. Great concept and execution, though. Definitely give it a try if you like rougelites.

Touch screen controls are a bit awkward- I often find myself having to re-angle my shots as the reticle messes up the shot when I try to hit the Fire button- but even with the awkward touch controls this is still the honest to goodness Peglin on mobile phones, and at a cheaper price for the full game than on Steam! I really appreciate this having a mobile port- this is honestly the perfect type of game to play on the go!

One of the best roguelikes available on Steam, this is currently just the first stage, which is still great. Mobile functionality is pretty good, I think they should add a glossary for what all the effects do; tapping works great for aiming and basic features, but using it to try and click on an item description is a little tricky and may lead to misclicks. Excited for a full release!

Clever game idea, if you're a fan of Peggle this is an awesome roguelike version. The mobile version is poorly suited to precision shots, the whole game screen is scaled down to fit and I can barely see what's going on, much less aim correctly. Also, this game is just a demo. The full game is an in-app purchase which circumvents the Family Library features and means I won't be purchasing the full game. Fix the resolution issues, the aim precision issues, switch this to a paid app. 5 stars.

Decent little roguelike. The pachinko aspect is creative and it's a nice break from deck builders. That being said, the progression/replay value felt light compared to other roguelikes. There are four classes, but they are the only unlocks and they don't play terribly differently. The game could benefit from a bit of story, some unlockable artifacts or balls, and maybe some sort of cross-run currency. The game does appear to be under active development though, so high hopes for it's future.

(Full Game) Love the pixel art design, the UI is greatly improved from when I started for mobile, and each boss is difficult enough to where you need to learn how to deal with all of them, the only problems i have is that it's not up to date with PC (I get that though, not taken into account for review), and that this game doesn't make it too clear it's not fully released, worth the money if you play it enough, 9/10

I am fully addicted, it's been a while since I've played a mobile game that's actually good and this one fits the bill. There's only three "worlds" but that's great from a game play perspective as each run usually ends up be 40 minutes to an hour and you won't be able to see everything your first couple of runs and after beating a run you can increase a meter that makes increases the difficulty in some way. Its everything I want from a mobile game rouge like and I wish there were more of them.

Great game, it's the best Peggle like I've played. There's just one small problem - on mobile there is no way to fine tune your shot. When you release your finger the sensitivity is so high it often moves slightly and changes the shot from what you wanted. Peggle on mobile fixed the problem by allowing fine tuned small movements when you hold your finger in place for two seconds. If the developer adds this feature I'd give it 6 stars!

This game is so good, and it's only getting better with time. I own it in multiple devices (it came to PC first), but it's truly built for phone because of its bite sized encounters. I still play on a nearly daily basis, and all I ask is that the devs continue to add new content (maybe more new characters?) but as it stands, EASY 5 stars.

Overall wonderful game, updates are a bit slow on here compared to PC. The comments that say this game is a scam are wrong, it is a free demo before you pay for the full three maps, characters aren't easily unlockable during the demo but they are more full game content anyways. I would remove the boss relic being obtained before the demo ends though and move it to after. The full game purchase is worth it with the added cruciball levels (ascension) with minor changes usually each level.

Peglin is a great game. you basically shoot balls onto pegs to deal damage to enemies in a rougelike with charming pixelart, a huge difficulty curve, and amazing replayability due to the nature of the game and the cruciball feature. think Peggle and a dungeon crawler, and you've got Peglin. theres even multiple classes. and if that doesnt sell you, the god-awful puns will, hook, line and sinker. happy balling!

I can't get enough of this game. It runs so smoothly and each run is different enough to keep me hooked. I love the ad-free experience and appreciate that I was able to try the game for free before making a relatively big investment compared to most mobile games. The price for the full game is 100% worth it! Replay value is enhanced by mechanics like the Cruciball and continuous updates. The developers really seem to care about user experience.

Really unique game! Just when I started to get a little bit comfortable with the orbs and relics, I unlocked new characters that changed things up and added new challenges. I was happy to pay for the full game after beating the first stage. A bit of a learning curve to understand everything going on at first but very rewarding if you make it through a bit of beginning confusion.

DO NOT use the Doctorb when you have every relic in the game, you WILL crash eventually, I made it to caves, crashed, tried to reload the game and that run is corrupted, is was a custom so I don't mind, but this game is super fun, I've been playing it for a while now and got the full version after a month and it didn't disappoint! I love the constant updates and it seems like the game only gets better and better. There are very few bugs, and you are rarely going to come across any unless you try

Game was great, but as of the latest update, two bosses are near immediate run-enders: the Leshy and the Painter; both have too many heavy gimmicks for their own good. For the leshy I'd propose swapping the stump with a bushy, and making the bramble a constant 1 instead of increasing throughout the fight. The Painter's paintings should not apply spinfection, and should only attack for 1 damage. I would elaborate more, but the discord server is giving me an error about not having a mutual server.
