Seemed OK at first as a higher capacity alternative to Dropbox , that's what they bill themselves as, but IMO Dropbox just works better. I keep getting a notification that "some tasks could not be completed". I tried to get it resolved, but didn't received any meaningful support, just an automated response. Waited for an updated version, updated it, but the problem persisted. NOW UNINSTALLED. Your mileage may vary.

This has been a much better app than dropbox. My problem with the new update is when I folders with wav files. My band uses this as we track new things to share the music, and before the audio files in a folder would play as a playlist. Now, they play one song and you have to select the next one. This was one of my favorite features when I originally left drop box. Is there a way to get this back? Thanks!

EDIT: Not only did they fix the disappearing queue, they fixed the scrolling issue from the previous version. Excellent! I have some more ideas for improvements, maybe they will listen to those too! Encouraging! The queue no longer shows up when I play an album or Playlist. I will write a better review after it's fixed. Edit: also, because I can't see the queue I also can't clear it, and when I can't clear it, I cannot scroll down any list (after a search, etc.) -- this is a major, major issue.

The app works well and the service is great. However, files downloaded for offline use are in a walled garden: they are stored in a private location on the phone that's not accessible without rooting. This creates pressure for this app to be the best viewer of any type of file (images, music, videos, etc.) because no other app can access the downloaded files. That's clearly completely unrealistic. An option to keep offline files in an accessible (if not discoverable) location would be great!

Very fast downloads and opening documents. But a couple of drawbacks make me move to another solution - no integration with any Office app to save documents back to pCloud after editing is the main issue. Then 2 minor issues - the mandatory P drive on my PC (I have a P drive mapping at work) and a recurrent error message on my phone after uploading files, even if in the end there was no error.

Early on I paid for the premium/lifetime. I have a substantial amount of images on pCloud, unfortunately many of them are not accessible. The images have just disappeared and show some strange icon in its place. I reached out the tech support no less than five times, they do respond but ask me to send the same information over and over. The end results-they give up replying to me, I have lost so so so many pictures. I have since move to a secondary back up system. I just can't trust pCloud.

Great service, imo vastly superior to Dropbox. One thing: the app can't seem to take exclusive control of phone audio, meaning it plays OVER whatever else is playing (spotify, etc) instead of pausing it. Since I use pcloud to send audio files between clients and extensively for listening, this is an issue that needs to be fixed, once it is, 5 stars!

I just about s**t all over you and you fixed the interface with my file manager. Guess there was a bug. Thank you very much! That's been going on for the past 48 hours. Still though, I use a stand alone file manager for transfer. If you could make it to where It don't have to go back to the root to move files that would be great. Also, maybe a plan where I could get 4TB or more. Again though thanks 😄

I'm going to uninstall the app. Copied some mp3 files from Google Drive to folders on pCloud. The operation copied most files, duplicated one and didn't copy one other. Tried the operation on a different folder, same result. I don't know if this is a new bug or just a compatibility issue with my device - but until worked out, the service and app are practically useless for my purposes.

Reliable, ample storage, and excellent user interface. this has transformed my ability to manage my files and work from multiple locations. I am even able to run most software from the Cloud Drive. Just one advice is to not upload an entire drive at once – I needed to do a few folders at a time to avoid bogging down my system, and some files not transferred the first time. Highly recommend!

As a backup service they're great. As an app to access files on the go, they need work. You can make files available offline, but they're located inside the data storage space of the app, not available to the system. The folder contents get out of sync with the cloud, and don't update locally. The default view of "recent" stuff is somehow ancient and irrelevant. If you play audio from it and pause, after a while you can't restart despite a play button being in the notification bar for it.

Update: After using the app for awhile now, it's starting to grow on me. The file sharing is a nice touch that comes in handy when you need to share multiple or large files. I was informed by app support that music files will not sync between files, which is a bit of a bummer. My first attempt to get my music library uploaded was very frustrating. I tried it again the next day and all my music uploaded without issue (Spectrum Router - their firewall caused the issue, which I disabled) The included music player within the app is a very nice touch. Currently, I'm trying to find out more information about the synced folders in this app in regard to my phone and PC, in that what happens to a file deleted on one device and what happens to the file on the other device, or if syncing between devices will result in files being added/deleted to the other device.

Love it, but... Recently automatic upload appears to have become very broken for me. It either shows that it's stuck on scanning for media or 17 images are uploading for an eternity. No joy with rebooting, force close, etc. I suppose I'll be uninstalling and reinstalling next. Update: uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have taken care of it

** 1 month later UI seems ok and is pretty responsive. Mirroring Google Drive, Google Photos, and OneDrive are awesome! Only a few minor suggestions. There are 10 or so default files which feels cluttered. There is no multi-file selection so deleting the default junk is⁷ more hassle than it needs to be. File encryption is a paid addon (on top of paid service) but there is a free pin lock option for the app itself so it would be nice to have a biometric app unlock

USED to be a pretty good app. With every update, it seems the context menu gets a little more bloated. And a recent update was a major DOWNGRADE, starting on some cutesy, totally ridiculous Start page, rather than just the list of files. And you can't turn this off. They refuse to fix the app to allow going DIRECTLY TO MY FILES. So it's now 1 star bloatware.

It works fine, except for false-positive error messages that download/upload operations failed when in fact they succeeded (Android 14). Also, it would be nice if there were some photo organization and sharing features, including for people to comment on photos. The memories feature is a good start! But it should be based on the photo's metadata (the date the photo is taken), not the file creation date.

Good, but the music player still needs some work; standard features are missing (option to replay 1 song, option to organize playlists alphabetically, ability to go directly to playlists instead of having to play something in queue first, etcetera). The old music player was simpler to use; you didn't have to make playlists nor queues to just play the entire folder. Would like to see some of that simplicity brought to the new player to make it faster to play something again

Great for archiving, get/put your files from anywhere. Get everything on any device, even Linux. Great way to get old pictures scanned catalogued and uploaded. Just a tad slow on uploading. Downloading is faster, still a tad slow. Best to use this with a hi speed ISP, then not so noticeable. Have had for over two years now, and it had gotten a little faster, but always reliable. Have never seen downtime on Cloud! They also offer encrypted storage for sensitive documents, etc.

I LOVE pCloud, but on android right now it really is more of a cloud media-only app than a true file cloud. (forgive brevity) 1) Need native file access to offline files OR able to save entire folders 2) Sync folder would fix 1 and the media-only feel 3) Internal music player has strange UX 4) NEED folders selection for music; don't want to listen to ringtones/VM Until it's a true file cloud solution, I don't think I can recommend if you're mostly on android. (I'd love to update this review!)

I bought a lifetime 500gb plan, because this pay as you go shite from Google is for the birds. I am not sorry I did so, mostly, but I do wish that the upload, especially with a good wifi connection, were faster. It's pretty absurd waiting for 100mb pdf to upload, for an hour, whilst attempting to archive. ARCHIVING is challenging, especially for a non librarian, or maybe just for me, but the slow speeds makes it double challenging. Also, viewing pdf files once uploaded is almost a no-go.
