PayPal Honey: Coupons, Rewards

I've enjoyed the app so far. I've earned cash back and have received it. I've redeemed points for gift certificates and used them. The problem I'm having now is that the app doesn't seem to be getting my e-receipts from my online accounts outsideof Amazon. For some reason I have to keep signing into my Amazon account. It's like the app keeps kicking my Amazon account out or doesn't recognize it. I wish we could type in items that can't be scanned and be able to see receipts like we used to.

Not sure I'll even keep this app. Tried to use one promo code on Amazon. Didn't take. Found another promo code for Amazon. Didn't take either! Spoke with Amazon about the product and they are going to give a bigger discount than either promo codes I tried! Think I will be deleting this app and unsubscribing from its emails. Since all I bascilly buy online is through Amazon prime. They are always nice and friendly. Trying to accommodate me if they can!

"An unexpected error has occurred.... Etc, etc" whenever attempting to log in. Regardless of changing p/words etc! Worthless app, total waste of time, just Google coupon codes for what it is you're looking for, WAY easier! Just to add.... Rather than replying with your generic rubbish, why doesn't Honey make contact with all these users experiencing issues with the app?! Let's not pretend you haven't already saved ALL of our contact info, the least you could do is pretend to give a to$$ 🤷‍♂️

As of late, Honey has emailed me of price drops from my drop list, that are at best inaccurate. Or in other cases, did not exist. I have emailed them multiple times on these issues, and have not receive a single response back! To my experience, it is becoming a waste of time to even expect accuracy in monitoring of pricings here! Update: This notation is what apparently got a response. I have sent Honey the info requested, and we'll see what comes of it? Update: It's been four days? Nothing back

When you log into anything (for example Panera), scrolling becomes a nightmare. It is very glitchy..I hate ordering anything off of it, it makes it a hassle. My god, why cant all these coupon/reward apps coordinate with all the vendors they work with? Its ALWAYS the same problem regardless of which app. I had to opt out of using it many times and missed out on points/rewards because their UI is a joke. Total disappointment 👎

Got an email from PayPal stating $5 towards my first purchase when I installed and used the honey app. Followed the link,downloaded the app, made a purchase from a participating retailer and never got the 5 dollar credit. The app stated I would earn points for the purchase which was more than 100 dollars. Checked back several times to see "points pending" each time. I actually forgot about it until I saw the app icon today. Guess what? Point total is zero... uninstalling now. Waste of time.

Great program but run extremely slow, takes about 5-10 mins to upload even the sections of the app let alone the photo of your drop list. I love using honey, saved alot of money with them. I have it on my computers, tablet and now phone. Tablet and phone boot up and runs really slow to load things. And they are all up to date with updates and such.

I cant redeem the gift cards unfortunately. When i contacted customer support through email i was completely avoided. Then I tried live chat and I was greeted by 4 agents and avoided. I think they "Ban" me for some reason I don't. If that's their customer service they need to do better. In my experience its a total waste of time

I used to love this app. I got a ton of coupons. I don't know what happened but lately if you try to redeem for rewards. It's a very long process. I have emailed them twice now. My reward is still pending. It's been pending for over a week. I don't know if it's because more people probably downloaded it, but they are taking a lot more time to respond. Might delete the app. Extension hardly works. Coupons they have work only sometimes.

The moment I first opened the app it was buggy af. It feels and looks like it's still in its alpha stage. Everytime I tried to scroll to the top of the page it would try to refresh instead of scrolling up. I'm laying on my side but my phone's portrait mode is locked, everytime I go to another page it defaults to landscape mode and then corrects itself 5 seconds later. I couldn't connect my PayPal account to my honey account after honey had just offered it. And a lot of other buggyness.

Weird that i can't checkout with PayPal from this app. And after multiple attempts i have been blocked from the site. What a waste of time. Update: still a huge timesuck. Tried it again at another store, could not get the cart to load. 😕 2nd update, after contacting them, I'm still unable to checkout with PayPal. App is hard to navigate as well as shop in, and checkout is always a hassle. 3rd update: cash back does not always calculate, even if you can get the app to let you checkout. Useless.

I like the idea of Honey, but the usability is not very good. When saving items to your droplist, they save as separate items for each color/version of the item. So you can quickly have a bunch of items in your droplist when you've really only added a handful. Then when reviewing the droplist within the app, I can only see the first 52 of those items unless I put a category on everything which is tedious also as it can only be done per item version instead of in bulk.

I've used the website extension (Mac), and that's been really great in a ton of ways. But boy, the Android app is frustrating and nearly useless, at least how I'm trying to use it. The search function is terrible, and when you do miraculously hit upon the thing you wanted, there's no intuitive way to add it to your droplist/alerts. Browser = rainbows and kittens. Android app = Excel files in Hell. That means Honey is not part of my regular, on-the-go shopping. Fingers crossed things get better.

Not disturbing. Shows up at the right time. Has saved me lots of $. It will also look for better deals on specific items for you. If you use it through PayPal, you get Cashback on your PayPal account. Really useful app. I have it on all my devices, even Windows laptop. Best app I have found for saving money and not just on certain things. I recommend it.

I love to be able to look at the price history of an item. In principle I like the idea of the drop-list as well, but in practice email notifications are ineffective. I downloaded the app to get the push notifications, because by the time I see the email notification for a drop-listed item, it's too late to get it at that price. Initially I missed the push notifications menu and thought that the app was no different than the web version, but I stand corrected!

The UI is poorly done and I wish it would be better. Top 3 issues: 1. Show an obvious indicator on things that have a price drop; right now you can't tell when something is on sale in the list. 2. Add pull to refresh. I added an item to my drop list on browser and I had to restart the app to see it. 3. Fix headers on the drop list screen - it's difficult to tell which custom list they belong to.

I had some problems with the app with not getting cashback rewards, and then the rewards that I had already accrued became locked, and I'm unable to redeem them. I tried emailing, and was completely ignored. So I tried their live chat, and was promptly greeted and then ignored by four separate agents. If you "banned" me for some reason, I'd sure like to know it, because I've done nothing wrong. And if this is your customer service, you need to do WAY better. Btw, you've been reported to the BBB.
