So far so good. Character design, art, and story are pretty good and the voice acting for JP and EN are great. I'm a sucker for dark and tragic stories that actually make the player feel like they are trying to accomplish something. Gameplay is similar to Arknights but having the option to move characters is definitely a major plus. Gonna take a star for now because the menus are a little clunky and at times can be unresponsive as well as upgrades scale up a little rapidly.

I've played a few games like this, but this was the only one where the MC felt sort of real and the characters were likeable (to me). I also loved the setting, and the themes that it explores thus far. I often drop these games after a few days, but find myself coming back every day. There's a lot to be invested in story wise, and lots of ways to expand your arsenal of Characters and improve them. It isn't too difficult either, and not super PTW (imo). I never feel "stuck" or "waiting" for long.

Gameplay and graphics are fantastic. However, the UI is a mess. One of the event missions requires you to send a message in world chat but I can't find any chat options. Besides the messy home screen layout the game is fun. One of the few games where rerolling isn't really necessary. I'd reccomend players who enjoy strategy games to give it a shot.

Overall a great game. The game has nice art work, sound tracks, and story line. The main menu is simple and easy to navigate. The characters are easy to upgrade, has an unique and interesting backstory. I'm talking off one star for the the amount of energy given each day. You get 1 energy every 10 mins and it heavy slows down your progress. You can buy energy but it's doesn't pay off as well and it runs out fast. Hopefully we get an quality of life update targeting the energy issue.

The gameplay is easy to understand, and the story is different from Arknights. You can interact with all the characters, and they have different reactions each time. The designs are amazing, and the graphics are simply beautiful. There are more new characters that definitely shine brighter than the older characters. Leveling up the 'Sinners' requires raiding chapters a lot unless you like to pay. The chapters do get harder fairly quickly, so you have to level up the 'sinners' quickly.

From what I've experienced so far, it's a fantastic game. Top tier presentation; art design, music, voice acting are all incredible. The gameplay is easy to pick up thanks to the great tutorials, and the rewards from events are very attainable even for completely free-to-play users. The story is also surprisingly good, with fully voice-acted dialogue (even for events!) and well-developed characters, with great localization.

This game is designed prerry well, as a hybrid tower defense-esque game. Aesthetics are nice, but the stamina system is poor and leveling characters is far too tedious/grindy very early in the game. You need plenty of resources. Which needs PLENTY of stamina. There's two or three different battle pass systems, with the game constantly reminding you that if you dont buy it you won't have enough to do what you want. Especially if you're leveling different characters for different situations.

Neat gameplay, fantastic writing, great voice acting (with character-specific language options!). Respects your time. So happy I came across this game; it's easily my favorite on my phone. Fair warning, resources for improving your characters are tight, so focus on a single team of 6 once you get a little ways in. Labyrinth (who you get for free early on) should be on that team.

Incredible graphics, insanely solid art direction, great ost, slick UI, fantastic character designs, and most suprisingly, a rather engaging story for a mobile game. Only major problem is this game sometimes manages to crash/force close on a Samsung S10+ after about 5-10 minutes of play. Usually happens once per 30 minute session and never again until maybe next session.

Absolutely phenomenal. Voice acting is great. Game is a lot of fun. Interesting story. Very generous and f2p friendly. Resources are a little limited at the very start of the game but that quickly dissappears, for the most part. Highky recommend to everyone. Very rewarding if you stick with it. Some ads are really bad though. Make the game seem like something it is not.

5 star game. Story is good, voice acting is amazing, and the art and gameplay are both nice. Only about 3-5 mins of reading per story section, and it's pretty simple and entertaining. Edit: Beginning to see some limitations with the stamina system. Takes a lot of materials to level up, and I have to wait hours for stamina to recharge just to raid levels, then quit. Edit 2: Hella got an outfit a while back, but my idiot self missed it. 5 stars regardless.

Tower defense games aren't my type of games, but I started PtN when it launched for the art and stayed for the story and interrogations (which the ads say are sexy, but they're actually not; they're often really great stories that are heartfelt, sometimes filled with doom, sometimes painful, sometimes hopeful, etc.). The story and characters are the best part of PtN. The translation could be better and would definitely enhance the experience.

Fair but challenging gameplay. As someone who enjoys tower defense I find this game addictive. Personally I love the big bosses and the story is fully voice acted so it's great to watch. There are some bugs with voice overs being out of sync with the actual subtitles. But it's minor and can be fixed. If you ever played arknights but hated the chibi art style and the convoluted increase in difficulty. I suggest trying this game out. It's hard but not frustrating like other tower defense games.

I don't like Tower Defense games, it killed this game for me, which is a shame because I do want to finish the story and I think it's an amazing game outside of that. The visuals, voice actors, and characters are all great and I was really invested in the story right off the back especially with the interrogation feature. It's probably one of the few games I would genuinely and gladly give 5 stars for everything it has in it. If you are into tower defense then DEFINITELY install this!

I like the characters in the game which is a solid 4.5star. But the game is so hard to play, the battle is very busy but the models are so small and close together, mis-click is a guarantee. I found myself redo a stage over and over because I moved the wrong character. The late game is also a joke, enemy come from allover the place, render the defenders completely useless. In the late game, enemies have such high atk you either kills them fast or you get killed fast. For me its not fun anymore.

Updated review. 4⭐ After a few months, progress def much better than before. Only thing I feel I'm honestly struggling is with how the event story bosses clear and getting the rewards, nearly heavily relies on one having a variety of Sinners which I don't have as I'm still a relatively new player. Would wish that we can adjust the levels of the boss to be able to clear it and get the rewards without heavily stressing over that one cannot get the rewards and wait for it's rerun etc.

Haven't played for that long yet, will revise after more playtime if req. - So far, I've been impressed with the originality of style and genre melding , creative spins applied to even minor aspects, and the story is more interesting than any other mobile game I've played. A lot of detail even in areas or aspects that most others ignore or are minimal on. I'm looking forward to playing more and can only hope that some of the typical negatives of mobile games continue to be non existent.

I feel the need to update my review. I dont enjoy the gameplay. I dislike how the role of corebreaking has sidelined some of my favorite characters. It just narrows the design of the game so much. Everyone runs the same teams for difficult content. Its reminscent of the failures of alchemy stars and converters. I do appreciate adding bleed teams, shield, etc. to add some variety but its not enough. I do enjoy the story but at this point I will just watch a video recap and save myself the pain

Disclaimer: I haven't played for long. The art, voice acting, and soundtracks in this game are phenomenal! I love tower defense games and riveting stories, so I decided to give this a try. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. Beware, you can relocate your "sinners" on demand during battle, so long as you have the "points". This can make it easier and harder than your typical tower defense game. There's a gacha system for obtaining sinners, can't comment on its generosity. I highly recommend!

I haven't been playing for long but I honestly like it. It reminds me of arknights but it's different enough and does enough on its own. The story is great the art styles fantastic and the atmosphere is top notch. Gameplay? It's a tower defense game but it's got enough going for it. Definitely recommend giving it a shot. Although I would recommend giving an alternative for playing when servers are under maintenance.
