**UPDATE** My photo was rejected by the State Dept. Don't waste your time!!! This would have been a really nice app if my photos had ever gotten to me. I ordered two photos, received one. I had to go back and forth with customer service and ended up using another service just so I would have the photos in time. *eta- customer service was willing to refund whatever it cost to have my photos printed elsewhere. So they try to make things right.

Really easy way to get passport photos done in the comfort of your home. Also really nice that they verify that the phone will meet the guidelines and you can retake and submit as many times as needed. There is an option to receive a printed 2x2 for a few extra bucks and arrives a week or so after you submit an acceptable photo. Overall, I highly recommend and would use again

Worth the time and money! I read terrible reviews and almost skipped out on this app. I'm so glad I didn't. I took my photo at work and bam they had it ready quickly and it passed!!! I just received my passport with the photo I took from the app. I sent the photo to Walmart and they printed the passport photos to mail in with my renewal. All together saved me a ton of time and effort since I live in a small rural town and can't hop over to CVS because the closest one is about 45 minutes away.

whoever is checking the photos manually... There must be multiple people.. because the picture can go through and they'll say there's just one problem such as there needs to be more torso in the photo... so then I will go and recrop the original photo to have more torso and then suddenly the next person will say there's too many shadows on the face except for the first person didn't say that. so if they have a problem with your picture but you think it's correct just re-upload it.

The app guides you through everything you need to know to get a photo accepted for a passport or other type of ID. If the lighting isn't quite right, the app guides you in how to correct; if you accidentally have your head turned slightly, the app guides you about where to look. There's a frame that goes around your face that keeps you in the correct position and when it's green, you know you can take that photo. It's super easy and affordable!

Taking your photo from home is very convenient and the process was easy. The app says your photo will arrive in 2-4 business days. I sent an email after 7 days. Customer service was prompt and courteous, explaining the delay was with the postal service. I was asked to wait a few more days and if it still didn't arrive, they would resend the pics free of charge. It took about 10 days to receive my photos & I had to reschedule my passport appointment, but I am happy with the quality of the photos.

3 family members needed photos for the passport. We took photo and downloaded the file, but apparently the lighting wasn't good enough. They reached out to us almost immediately. We sent new photos with improved lighting, and received the files in a few hours. Taking a passport photo costs $17 at local CVS per person, but we spent $17 for all! Totally worth it. Lighting tips: take your photo under white light than yellow.

I didn't use the app, just did it on the website. It worked so well! I did the Download & Print, which created a 4x6 that I then sent to be printed at Walgreens. I had a problem with 2 of my 5 passport photos not being able to be printed at either Walgreens or Shutterfly, but Chris at customer support helped me out and got the problem solved quickly for me! I also had one photo that a human determined to be poor lighting and likely to not be accepted, so they sent me a link to do it again without paying again. I'm so glad to not have found out the hard way after sending my passport forms in.

Having a child with Autism, its hard to get a pic of him looking at the camera. Had to renew his passport and took a pic with this app. What a GREAT APP. It had a nice outline to line him up. The background remover was GREAT. As long as I get him looking at the camera, I was good. They send me an email that my photo could use some help and within 10 mins I had a 200% guaranteed to work photo. What a stress reliever that I dont have to depend on a stranger doing there best trying to get him to sit still (sometimes I have to go back). And I love it has been checked by a human, so once I go to the post office for renewal, I should be good to go! My suggestion for improvements would help with ALL kids is to allow more then one pic at a time. In this case, we get the pic of the kiddo while in motion, we can just keep snapping instead of hitting retake. Those seconds matter when trying to keep a kid still. Also, the printout template, they should not have a background color, just wasted all that ink for something I'm throwing away. Would HIGHLY recommended this app to any parent trying to get an ID photo of there kids or even for yourself. Yes there is a small price for the download, but they have a "human" confirming it will pass and for some reason it doesn't there is a 200% warranty. Any photo place charges way more and sometimes you have to retake anyway!

Useless Edit: to be specific, any time I try to use an image from my gallery, your app takes me back to the previous screen and doesn't let me use it. When I try to use the camera through the app, the photos are grainy and the camera seems to be operating in a ridiculous zoom mode that I can't get out of. Wouldn't be a problem if I could use pictures from the gallery, but like I said, useless. If you're sure it does a great job, you must be blind.

Just as described. The photo was easy to take. During the processing time the background was replaced with a nice white background. I was happy with the entire process. BUT - Digital $16.95/Prints & Digital $19.95 - I was not informed in any way about this cost. There are several businesses near to me that will charge $12.00 or less. So, No, I did not purchase.

Great app, but pricing is very misleading. Website says you can use their app to create a digital image and then pay only $0.37 to print at Walgreen's - "a life hack"; however they don't tell you that you have to pay $13.95 for the digital photo. That means a total of $14.32 vs. $15.99 if I go straight to Walgreen's, so you're not really saving that much. I thought the photo was free, and I'd only need to pay $0.37 out of pocket to print. Website should be more clear on pricing.

Wow! I no longer need to make a trip to CVS and spend tens of dollars to get my photo ID. Not to mention that you can shoot as many times as you want before uploading the photos online (you know how our facial expression becomes awkward as soon as it is for our official documents). They would also ensure that the photos you upload would meet the requirements (cons of trying to take the photos at home, until this app :) ). This app is awesome!

I couldn't get my photo right, no matter how hard I tried. I knew it was the lighting I was in, so I had given up after 18x tries and was planning to just wait until I returned home, but the app services helped me out! They went out of their way without me even having to ask them and fixed up my photo for me! I'm really thankful for what they did and hope all those who are thinking of using this app definitely should! It's alot harder trying to get a perfect passport ID then one would think. ♡

I would give 10 stars if I could. They are absolutely AMAZING! The app itself was easy to work with, but what really impressed me was how responsive, patient, and understanding the people were. We were trying to get a photo of my toddler for his passport, and had numerous email exchanges because the photos weren't meeting the standards. The people helping us have been so kind through the whole process and kept working with us. The customer service and attention to detail are greatly appreciated.

I gave this App 3 stars because it is simply operating and easy to get your ID photo, but it made me uncomfortable is that they charge you after you set up everything , I do think everyone 's work should be respected , I do not mind to pay for a App, but I think it should make the price more straight and clearly, be honest! Finally I decided to uninstall it, it is not reasonable for paying $13•98 to get a digital photo, thanks for all the developers!

This is misleading. There's no mention that it's paid-only for checkout, (should say in app purchases) also has no free options available. The Play Store description only mentions in-app advertisements, but that’s not the case. I wasted my time as I was looking for a free photo app, like many others that make money from ads while providing basic services for free
