More About Parchis - Parcheesi Board Game

Parcheesi is a brand-name American adaptation of the Indian cross and circle board pachisi game, parchis.
Parchis Rules and Gameplay:
A player rolls the dice and must use the top die pip values shown to move their pawns around the board in one of the following ways:

Only pawns not in the nest may move forward on the board, pachisi game.
Pawns may only leave the nest with a roll of a five on a single die or the sum of the dice. A double five can be used to move two pawns out from the nest simultaneously, Parchis.
In the case of a non-doubles roll, a player may move one or two pawns, either one pawn by each of the numbers on the two dice or one pawn by the total. If no move is possible, the turn is forfeited, Parcheesi Board Game.

When moving a single pawn the total of two dice the turn is taken in increments, allowing pawns to be captured along the way, Parchis. For example, if a double two is rolled and an opponent's piece lies on a cream space two spaces in front of the piece you wish to move the full four, you would move the pawn two, and then two again, allowing the opponent's pawn to be captured.

All die rolls must be taken and may not be voluntarily forfeited by a player.
If either of two rolls must be forfeited, the player must forfeit the lower number.
All die moves must be taken before the application of any extra rewards for sending an opponent to their nest or moving a piece to its home position.

With a roll of doubles, the player makes four moves, one for each of the numbers on top of the two dice and one for each of the numbers on the bottoms. The player may distribute these four moves among one, two, three, or four pawns. Note that the sum of numbers on the opposite sides of a die is always seven, so with doubles, there are a total of fourteen spaces to move. This can only be done if all four pawns are out of the nest.
When the player rolls doubles, the player rolls again after moving.
When a pawn ends its move in the same space as an opponent's pawn, the opponent's pawn is sent back to its nest,Parchis.

A pawn may not be placed in a safe space if it is occupied by an opponent's pawn. The exception is the safe space used when a pawn leaves its nest a single pawn occupying such a safe space is sent back to its nest when an opponent's piece leaves the nest and occupies the space, Parcheesi Board Game.

Blockade:
A blockade is formed when two pawns of a single player occupy the same space. No pawn of any player may move through a blockade, including pawns of the blockade owner. Blockade pawns may not be moved forward together with the roll of a double, Parchis. Another player's pawn cannot land in a space occupied by a blockade, even to leave its nest. Local rules may limit the number of turns that a blockade can stay in place.

A pawn is not required to enter the home row and can pass the row and start another circuit of the board voluntarily or as the result of the requirement of the use of the total die roll.
A turn ends when the next player rolls the dice with the consent of the current player. Any rewards not taken are lost.

Parchis - Rewards of extra moves:
The reward for sending an opponent's pawn to the nest is a free move of twenty spaces that may not be split between pawns.
The reward for landing a pawn in the home space is a free move to ten spaces that may not be split between pawns.

Winning the game:
Moving all four pawns to the home position wins the game.
Pawns may only be moved to the home position with an exact application of the total roll, the value on a single die, or the complete application of a reward.

Any chance you can fix it so we can name our players? Maybe a scoreboard? I do enjoy playing it.

It is very entertaining. It fails on moves and rules once in a while.

Fun to play but I can't follow all the rules. Sometimes I can't move certain pieces and I can not figure out why. No Rhyme or Reason. With that being said it doesn't stop me from playing 2 dozen games every day. 😀👍👍

Why does the yellow player (computer) go around the board twice????? Why does every other player go through doubles but mine???? Why will the game not let me move in my home lane???? Answer please!!

"If your opponent is on a blue space, you cannot land on the same blue space. You may pass your opponent’s piece that sits on a blue space." I was allowed to land on a Blue Safe spot that was Occupied by Another Pawn.

Growing up I would play the board game version and there are safe spaces on the board that you can't be sent home from except the other players home base but in this game there are no safe spaces...kinda shady but overall ok game

Fast playing game. Ads are after each game, no forced ads while playing. Really like this game. You can choose AI or play with others around you by customizing board players. Colors arent over whelming bright. They start you off with many gems to be able redraw if you dont like your luck(chance) card No need to purchuse gems less you like re drawing if you dont like your card. First redraw is 3 gems 2nd is 8 etc. If you decide to purchuse gems, they give you many options for low prices. Nice app

The games have gotten extremely unfair. The computer makes me miss plays that would disadvantage me. I am never uploading your game again. All i need is fair play and makers here have been anything but.... very disappointed as i was enjoying the competition until it became unfair.

Enjoy this game but notice a couple issues. Why does the yellow frequently bypass the home lane? Why does it not let me move the piece I want sometimes repeatedly clicking on it works. Thanks! Keep the fun stuff coming!

Don't play yellow. Your man might pass the home stretch and have to go aroynd again. Blocades sometimes fail. Majes the gane more fun as the bugs putvin a random factor. Computer players play conservatively, camp on home base waiting for someone to go by.

This is pretty but rules are not applied consistently. Yellow will run past the last turn to home and start the treck again, killing a pawn and getting 20 moves will let computer move past blockades, dice rolls will not be available for legal pawns some times when in home stretch, just to name the big issues. Looks like it was popular enough to make it look good but no one cares about fixing issues.

The game overall is good, i love how its really simple. I took me forever to find a parchesi app that i actually like, but it be nice if we could be able to finish the game after the first person wins. Also it be great if you guys could add the feature to know where the dice will end up, instead of counting the tiny little rectangles.

Could be a lot of fun but there's are all wrong. If this is a variatio. then they should have a option to play by standard rules. There are some standard variations i am aware , but this game doesnt follow those either. It won't let you play sometimes for no obvious reason. Sometimes cant select the correct piece. Blockade doesn't exist which is ridiculous. So many issues

Fun... addictive. But sometimes it will skip a turn for a player for no reason. Also, it prevents some preferred moves for no reason. Took off one star for those bugs. Big problem: the yellow piece will completely bypass the final lane if it has to travel from a distance to get to the turnoff in that one move; no other color has that problem. Took off one more star because of the major handicap with the yellow.

This could be a great game, but it is so frustrating how they've incorrectly interpreted the rules of the game Parcheesi! So many things wrong here. Since when can your opponent blow right past your blockade?? And it won't let you move certain pieces for no reason! What bothers me the most is when our pieces are right next to each other, we can't accurately pick the one we want to move. And when it moves the wrong one, there's no way to undo it! Definitely needs an "undo last move" feature.

Bought ad free. Had to reinstall since I had several Parcheesi games and uninstalled the wrong one. When I reinstalled, it shows the ad free button. When I click it, it says I already own it. However, it continues to show me ads. Uninstalling again, this time on purpose, will find a better one. Also, blockades aren't honored, which is not according to the traditional rules. Disappointing.

I like game, but have some issues. When two men of the same color are close together it is diificult to move them the way the way one wants. Secondly, yellow's turn is often skipped. One can roll the dice, but before a move can be made, the games shifts to the next player. Thirdly, yellow men sometimes skip around home and must cucle the board again. Fourthly, sometimes some players do not seem to be eligible to be moved, particularly going home. Fifthly, blockades do not always work.
