Great game, been one of my Android favorites since it was openpanzer. However, the save issues are frustrating enough that I never want to play it. Really too bad as its otherwise an excellent game. Please fix, you'd be my hero.

European War and John Tiller products certainly have their charm (and I've purchased both). But nothing beats some good old PG. Its surprising that with devices almost perfect for grid based wargames that it has taken us this long to procure an honest to God port of a classic. *****EDIT***** app frequently forces device restarts not good.

This is one of the best games I have ever played:) Thank you The highly detailed level if work you have done is above and beyond. The historical accuracy is not lost on me. One request though: Can you please add a written manual for this version of the game please? Also, can you make it possible to purchase ground transport vehicles by themselves? Again, thank you. This is a true gem of a treasure:) Well done and greatly appreciated:)

This is an almost direct port of the beloved PG2/OG with one very annoying mistake or oversight, the AI is not bound by spotting rules that is. It is completely futile to use effective manuveres, cautious advance and tactical retreat as the opponent knows exactly where your units are at any given time. Tested it countless times and it is very sad. Would give 5 stars if the issue would be resolved.

I am utterly bewildered by what I just experienced. I tried to play the tutorial. I was told that enemy positions were marked by enemy flags surrounded by a gold border. I could find no flags, anywhere on the small on the map surrounded by a gold border. The tutorial went sharply downhill from there. The difference between what the tutorial instructions claimed would happen, and what actually happened, were really quite remarkable. I have not seen a game this far off the mark since...I dunno...

As others have stated the games save and load will be corrupted at some point and you'll be unable to advance. I loaded a previous level from way back in the campaign and now I can't load a saved game. Until this is fixed there's no point in playing. Shame cause it's a great game. It's just not supported anymore.

Roll play optional. Americans start in Morocco and battle through Europe. Germans start in Poland and go through Russia , my favorite. Very detailed maps, tons of unit combat values like movement,soft/hard defence/attack, entrenchment, range, fuel, and experience points. I'm looking forward to all the campaigns only have trouble saving and restarting havnt figured it out so I play till I can't anymore and restart a campaign. Like old Nintendo. lol GG :-)

This is cool oldschool strategy game! I love it. Please add 'next unit' button to quickly browse units that have not moved yet. Some notification of arriving reinforcements would be great. Units are highlighted in green and orange - what does it mean? Option to zoom in and out would greatly help in battlefield overview. It would be cool if there would be some units database but I can imagine that's not gonna happen. For now I just check units in wikipedia :)

Game itself great. However is plagued by issued, when said issues are raised on github nico just closed the ticket and literally said he couldn't be bothered and updates on playstore weren't worth his time. The game is a decent version of Panzer General but it's completely unplayable. You get a few missions in and then nothing will save, nothing will load, the hud breaks, the save files you think you have don't function at all also bs like whirlwind not being able to shoot ground targets = BS

What a great game, this is the only game that gives you so many options to choose between troops, artillery. Etc i have only stopped playing because it just needs better graphics, I think if someone upgrade this game it will be a big hit, small tip: add secret weapons from ww2 like flying wing, v2, v3, etc. Most of games seems to be missing it.

Every one who liked Panzer General should like this one. I played previous version, so going to find out how it is after update. There was no too difficult scenarios for me, with good core units can win everything as brilliant win. There are a few other issues though. Biggest were crashing, game saving, enemy reinforcement units poping up in between my forces out of nowhere, fuel/ammo issues when upgrading units, artillery units getting cant be surprised skill (useless for artillery).

I love this game, totally addictive. Campaigns are great as you can fine tune your army and build their experience level to veteran. (I originally thought it was buggy but realised their are a few quirks, such as deploy screens stopping movement etc). Once you learn this and few others, there are no problems. I would love to see flanking options open up a bit more. This game on desktop (OSX) is also great. Very similar to Panzer General from the 90's which I loved. Thanks

I am thrilled by the plentiful amount of combat scenarios in the campaign, by the authenticity of the units available, and by the ability to save across platforms (meaning I can play on my Android phone or tablet, and if I want to pick it up later, can continue on my PC). The fact the game is free makes it all the better (currently a poor college student). I'm having a ton of fun!

I loaded this again and they fixed a lot.of the issues. I wish the interface was a bit more like Panzer General as I guess I am used to it. It is about 80% similar so almost. I can't find the option to turn off.supplies and I really miss it. Lots of new scenarios. Great jpb improving the program.

So close to being good, but frequent crashes and excessive randomness bring it down. Certain missions are impossible to win with Brilliant Victory, and the "predicted casualties" might as well not be there. it's a beautiful game and I appreciate the effort, a lot of work went into it but it's really not worth more than a quick look in its current state.

Frustrating and mediocre, to say the least. The U.I. is clunky and the tutorial only answers the most basic of controls. There are no tool tips, so you will have to guess what most units are in the menus. Graphics are rather low resolution too. Oh and this game seems tp have adware. While I had it on my phone, I reveived frequent pop ups while in other apps, even while the game was off. Once I deleted it, the pop ups stopped and random apps stopped appearing in my app list too.

Great job getting this game back up. Just an all around fun time for sure. Love the detail and variety of units, the scale is appropriate for the platform it's on (S7). Would love a little pdf file that helps explain the units and symbols in the game. Thanks for the game! I haven't been able to access the pacific campaigns, are they on the android app? Thank you again!

Would be a good game, BUT I also have random save problems and bad screen size interface. Today won and started next battle. The drop down window shows my prestige points gaining all the way up to 21000ish as I battle, however when I hit the wrench button to put out units it doesn't change color and the top window with my units doesn't appear. The second window down appears but only shows 686 points and none of the buttons work! Now I am stuck with the only the units already on the battle field!

When the game works, it's great. Plays like panzer general. The biggest problem is that the app gets stuck on stupid. It drops off the screen and doesn't always restart where you where in the game. Other times it just doesn't load your saved game. I really like the game but I'm tied of playing the same missions repeatedly when the game will not load properly. Giving this another shot, hopefully i can get the game to continue after the 10 scenario or so.

Excellent strategy game, with heavy inspiration from the panzer general series. It's very well done, and retains the fun of the games that inspired it. My only critique is I wish there was an animation that played over the attacked unit in addition to your units firing animation. Something simple like dots or sparks for machine guns, and a small explosion for bombs or artillery; something like that would give a little more visual confirmation which unit was attacked when the AI makes it's move.
