I’m happy to share my experience that the fingerprint issue has been resolved, and the app is now running smoothly. However, I’m currently experiencing a delay with my approval, which has been pending for two days. While I appreciate the app's improvements, a more efficient approval process would greatly enhance the user experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Salaam Alaikum. I been having trouble trying entry to contact numbers for the verifiers. Keep saying need to have minimum 10 or maximum of 11 characters . If I put 0 in front it's say invalid character. Definitely needs to update how the contact number are entered. It's really frustrating Also should have different options for 2 step verification for the website instead of just using Google authenticator. Must have set it up already can't access the account for verification.

Useless app. The guidelines mentions that fingers should be apart and NOT CLOSED TOGETHER, but when you try to scan the fingerprints, it says keep the fingers closed together and not spaced apart. KARNA KYA HAI YEHI SAMAJH ARAHA! Also does not recognize fingerprints. Either fingers are closed together or spaced apart. THIS APP DOES NOT WORK!

The app doesn't work. First it follows frustrating long steps to sign up, once done you start the application. It asks for verification which just adds to your frustration because it's not smooth. This is not it once you're done filling the details the start application button won't work. Been trying to fill the form since last 7 days and utterly disappointed. Will be going to the Nadra Office today to get it made. That's how useless this application is.

Gov of Pakistan, what do you expect. Are we really surprised? Absolutely incompetent, lazy and useless. No wonder we suck at everything compared to other countries. 1. There is no other option that to download the app in order to renew our NICOP cards. 2. Once logged in to the app, the app cannot detect our location (don't know why would need that to begin with but regardless). 3. No live person to connect with to resolve the problem. Hope this helps you improve your app.

Like most of the government operated system this app is a disaster. After multiple failed attempts to login to my account by installing and reinstalling the app, permitting location access, and even creating new account I raised my hands up and gave up. Certainly, government systems work like cartels. There're vendors outside who provide you CNIC verification services and charge you fee. Further everyone can understand!

Different phone: Extremely stupid design requiring a selfie to be taken instead of an option to upload the photo. How is a baby (for NICOP) supposed to take a selfie. What's more, the application LOCKS you out for very long times, IDIOTIC! Update1: No, it is NOT related to internet connection. The app is unable to work on Moto g (100), Android 12. Unable to login to my Pak ID account as the app keeps on displaying "Please provide user device id" message without performing the sign in process.

Extremely frustrating app 😑 most of the functions do not work at all. I have been trying since morning to add province,district, and tehsil . But commands are broken. The link does not promote any option all. Such disappointment . There are many other things I’ve found so annoying 🙄 but no point mentioning that nothing will change until they get things prioritise.

Useless app. Just created to waste your time and energy. Issues on every page. So many complaints and still they say that they are trying to improve. It's been a week , i am trying to enter data. But, each time something happens and app shut and I reach to the first page and i have to re-enter information. It's never ending torture.

Although the camera clearly captures my fingerprint, the app consistently fails to recognize it. This has been a frustrating and time-consuming experience. This app is an absolute disaster. I've tried thousands of times to get the biometric verification to work, and it fails every single time. The camera shows my fingerprint clearly, but the app is too incompetent to process it. It's an utter waste of time and a complete mess. This app is a piece of garbage. Pathetic! Update: day 22nd, still trying to register :) this app really frustrating to use

Absolutely pathetic and useless app. Been trying since 6 days to verify my fingerprints but in the end it gives that recognition failed. What stupid system is this? Even a rookie univ student of first year can design a better recognition algorithm than this. And the top of all, there is no other way around to verify yourself. Atleast if you have that many flaws in your online system, provide an alternate way.

Very frustrating experience. I have used this app before succesfully, now it says my account needs verification and asks me for fingerprinting. Right where I click Left thumb or any other options for fingerprinting the app closes. Note that app has all permissions like Camera. This issue renders the app useless. I then tried clearing cache but after that the app won't login at all (saying it cannot retrieve my location... Again, location permission is also granted)... Developers pls test yr app.

The fingerprinting does not work. It's wild that this is the only app out there for verification. This app is flawed. I've been trying to scan my fingers and thumb correctly every time but I'm getting an error message. Don't waste your time on this, and if it's a requirement then you're screwed. There's so much technological innovation in the world and this is the best we get? The developers should be ashamed of themselves. Yikes.

The button right next to "Account non verified" disappears after multiple attempts for fingerprint or picture verification, and if the button is not there, we can not restart our verification process. There should be an option to use phone fingerprints instead of camera based fingerprints. It will make it way easier for people who have fingerprint scanners in their phones. Nadra is not refunding my money via email and the app doesn't work to be able to apply for refund from there.
