Now that I have a phone that can play this I'm kinda hooked, but that's just Pac-Man, you tally can't get more addicting than one of the hottest arcade games your parents enjoyed in the 80s while you played it on a collection on the Gameboy advance or something. Took 2 stars off for two reasons. 1: It didn't work on my note 9, don't know why but now it works. 2: While the ads aren't pushed too badly there are still plenty of deceptive ones, don't hit retry or continue on the ad, please.

Can't put this game down, an absolute outstanding refresh to a classic game. With that said, the swiping is flaky. I've lost on good runs due to pacman not turning when swiping in the direction I need him to go which is absolutely frustrating in critical tight spots. No option for on-screen d-pad unfortunately.

I've been playing Pac-Man since I was a kid in the 80s. Since that time, I've played multiple versions on multiple platforms but I've never encountered a version that worked well without a joystick, until now. PM 256 took about 12 seconds to get used to, but after that gameplay feels very fun and natural. I like the various power ups and the set roles the ghosts have. I've only been playing for a week, so it's tough for me to say it's perfect. But I can't name any flaws so it's 5 stars from me.

They really abandoned the game after year and a half. It was one of my favorites when I had an IPhone 7 and had my first real taste of mobile games. Good memories, but the game at the moment doesn't hold up. Bugs everywhere, aspect ratio doesn't fill screen, pretty much optimizations of recent years are completely missing. If you want to play an actual working version of this, there's a new Pacman collection on consoles and I believe switch.

Pretty fun, but has bugs annoyances. I lost a ton of progress even though the game description says it backs up progress and I was signed into Google Play Games. It also has a glitch where the sound will randomly stop working until you close and reopen the app. I really thought they'd have that fixed after all these years. Another annoyance is that when the game loads it disregards my screen rotation setting and forces rotation based on gravity.

Addictive, unique take on the endless runner subgenre, walking the line between nostalgic, or retro, and innovative. Different unlockable themes, including a "shuffle themes" option, keep things from getting monotonous. Unlockable power ups also incentivize coming back. Unlockables can realistically be obtained through gameplay. That is to say, there is NO pay to win scenario, here.

This is a fantastic mobile game!! ..... This version is superior to the console & PC versions as powerups level to 12 versus only 8. This makes the end game the perfect pick up and play for minutes or hours depending on your mood. A single game lasts just about 5 minutes on average and is easily my alltime favorite game to play when gaming on a phone!

Game is a pretty fun, endless version of Pac-Man. Just go as far as you can, eat as many Pac-Dots, fruit, ghosts, and Power-Ups as possible. It is very simple but still requires strategy and good reflexes to get a good score. There is only a few issues with the game though. Game crashes a good amount of times, thankfully it is when you just start a game, so you don't lost much, but it is still annoying.

Not sure anyone sees these since it hasn't been updated since 2015, but the game has developed another glitch. I migrated to a new phone and the game now wants me to upgrade a power up (like a tutorial when you start over) but I have no coins. So it just stays stuck on the screen and I can no longer play it/go back to the home screen etc. Uninstalled/reinstalled and it does the same thing. Considering I bought skins for this, it is very frustrating.

Pac-Man256 is a game based on the original Pac-Man. It's an arcade game, which means a simple game with simple controls and no plot. It's also endless, which means the main goal is to go far and get points. It's exciting to use quick thinking for planning routes and avoiding ghosts to go as far as possible, but I don't care much about getting points. The aesthetics are the weakest part, with great visual themes but no music at all. Taking all this into account, I believe the game deserves a 4/5.

Over all this game is far more fun than l would have guessed. The adds are mostly optional, though l would like the ability to pay a few bucks to turn them off. The only thing l don't care for are the controls. Having to drag your finger in the direction you want to go is cumbersome. It would be far more intuitive to just tap the direction you wish to go instead. Still, a fun game though.

Pacman 256 is the classic game with an endless runner twist. The crossy road guys pulled off the charm and mechanics of the arcade classic. Plus there's a variety of different maps to unlock. However the flaws I noticed is that the game would not save your in app purchases nor your progress as well as a 2 rare occasions were the game crashed. But that was on my old phone and my latest model manages to obtain the power-ups I had unlocked previously.

I cannot stop playing. The graphics stay true to the original Pac-Man while the game introduces new mechanics such as powerups which are upgradable. I'd recommend this game to literally anyone that enjoys pacman. Edit: 5 years later and this game is still such a treasure. It's a great way to pass the time even if you're offline. No crashes, no bugs/glitches, and no lag. The game still runs as smooth as ever.

Love love loove this game they give you percs (over time) but that's all you gotta do it wait a little bit, i.e. you don't gotta spend money 🩷🤍🩷🥰 it also has different themes you can play and try for free and you can buy it you like it or you can play allot and win big and then you can buy it with your winning coins! Soo amazing and only have to watch ads if you choose to, to get more coins. Does NOT cost any coins to start/play game!!! Again does NOT cost any money or game coins to play 🤗

Game is fun! I've been playing this for a while. Only complaint is at this point I've bought all the in game rewards, which are maxed out at level 12. Would be nice if that limit were raised with rewards of longer duration or new rewards added. For example if the "cherries" reward could be upgraded to other fruit. Or get the option to only have one or two rewards instead of three to make it easier to collect for quests.

Entertainingly chaotic! I only play a few games a week or so, but they're still pretty fun regardless. I'd tweak some of the powerups so they're less useless or annoying and actually helpful, but they're fine for the most part. Ads are present, but mostly optional. Really no other complaints. Never found any bugs ir glitches, aside from the raging wall of glitches chasing behind ya every run-but I think it's intentional...

Fun game, worth the download. My only complaint in the years and multiple devices I've put this on, is that the map hasn't been updated yet. There's maybe 7 configurations that you run through in a randomly generated manner, would it be possible to add a few more in the mix? Maybe some inspired by Ms. Pacman? And although I do like the extra powerups, maybe a challenge mode where the only power is the power pellet, or a change in orientation so you "run" from right to left, or vice versa.
