Always loved this game! I spent one night after work for 6 hours learning (and a whole lot of quarters) šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£ I got really good at this game!!! I had the 2nd highest score and I doubt anyone could beat the first. Free TV set to the number one winner. Not me sadly. I still struggle with the game, those little monsters I wish I had more time to kill them and right as I attempt to get them, it switches back to the regular game. Lost my avatar on this game! After 35+ years I definitely forgot, lots

Game is fun. I like that there's so many mazes available on easy, medium and hard levels! But the glitches are horrible. I havent been able to open the application all day. When i was able to play, there would be glitches where my screen would black out. This forced me to restart the application when going back to the other mazes once i completed one. Im sad this was the only game i found worthy enough to download outside of candy crush

Game is good. But there seems to be a glitch. At the end of each game, after winning a set; where u choose to go back to menu, it freezes. When tapping to go back to menu it doesnt go back, instead the screen stays stuck there. With the only option of shutting down the game and restarting; its very inconvenient. Who wants to restart a game after each level completion??? Not me, so ill be uninstalling unless this issue is resolved. Thnx...

It's Pac-Man. The gameplay is fun when you're not being screwed over by the positioning of the control stick. Despite the abundance of unused space on the bottom half of the screen, the developers thought it would be a good idea to place the control stick at the literal bottom-most portion of the screen, closest to the edge. This unfortunately results in clunky controls, inability to move downward easily, most often resulting in death. Other control methods are just as bad due to this oversight

I had 75% of the Original Pac-Man they had on here beat until they suddenly erased it and all of my progress and replaced it with this piece of garbage. Finally I decided to try this and beat 8 levels and unlocked a machine. But when I came back they had erased all of my data, again, and wanted me to start over. I want the original Pac-Man game back, it was 100 times better than this one. Way better levels, way better challenges, it had themed levels. Is anyone at Namco even paying attention?!!

I understand that most of this is probably experimental, but I have a few things to complain about that I want to mention: 1)Locking the Classic mode and forcing us to play the Story mode in order to access it was a terrible choice and could easily turn off newcomers. 2)What on earth happened to the sprite direction?! The ghosts arent as expressive as they used to be, and Pac-Man's mouth doesn't cycle as fast as it use to either! 3)The menus are awkward to navigate and poorly optimized.

Definitely needs work. Too many ads and hate that it's even an option to "watch an ad for another life". But I guess that's the world of mobile apps. But beyond that, the controls are bad. The best option is using the swipe, but the "joystick" is at the very bottom of the screen so any slight wrong move closes the app on Android. Plus it makes it awkward. The least that could happen is give users the option to place the controls wherever we want in that unused space at the bottom.

I love, love, love PAC-MAN! And this is a fun game to play, but if you accidentally turn your screen off or exit the app, it goes back to the start screen without saving what level progress you have made. Also, sometimes when I hit the button to watch an ad for extra coins or life, usually it doesn't respond the first time so I end up losing my double reward, and I know my internet connection is great.

I used to play this game all the time and I stopped awhile back so I went in to see why and I remembered. There was a major update about a year ago that took away the ability to save your level on the Classic maze after every level. Now you have to win several levels to get to the next "safe". Well, it's pretty hard to beat levels 50-55 for instance so it's basically impossible to eventually make it to 256. That was my final achievement. Being back the ability to save after every level!

I love pacman and I love this version of it. However, a couple of issues I thought I'd mention so you can fix them, 1 has already been mentioned but I'm mentioning it again, is the ads that pop up. I've had a few apps that did the same thing and I removed them because it took too much away from the value of the app and I don't want to remove pacman but I don't want to be bombarded with ads either so I really think the ads should go. Also, when playing classic pacman, it only gives an extra life after the first 10 thousand points but every 10 thousand after that, it doesn't. The other mazes do but when playing the classic pacman, it doesn't. Other than that, I really enjoy the game and I enjoy the variety of mazes that are available to play. It's a great game and I believe it can continue to be a great game as long as there's no ads because those take away from gameplay and the enjoyment of the game. Thank you.

It's Pacman. The game usually runs smoothly, and the classic game mode is well-executed. They added checkpoints, which is a nice touch. The game menus are very buggy, especially the pause menu. I personally didn't care for the "story mode" levels. It's an easier game mode that might be nice for casual play. However, the ad breaks in story mode were constant and way too long to be worth it.

swipe input is cumbersome and doesn't respond like the good ol' joystick did back in the day because its area is limited so it doesn't always pickup quick swipes, especially when turning multiple corners or trying to go back and forth or up and . i think it would be better if you could use any part of the screen to swipe. Otherwise, it brings back good old memories and at least I don't have to spend a quarter for every game šŸ˜

This is as fantastic a Pac-Man game as you can get on smart devices. It's quick to download and start, and great fun for a casual playthrough of the game; however, hardcore Pac-Enthusiasts beware, this game lacks the precision that you would get with a joystick from an arcade cabinet, or even a directional pad or analog stick if you own one of Pac-Man's various console/handheld re-releases. It's not the app's fault - it's a limitation inherent to touchscreens by their nature.

Up until the most recent update, I absolutely loved this game. The gameplay was smooth, the UI was very pleasant to interact with, there were selectable difficulty settings, you could choose the input style, and you had an actual joystick. This last update messed around with all of these things and removed the last three things on that list. It's a shame that I can't roll back to the prior version of the game because the new update killed vital aspects of the game for me.

I loved the 80s. I love this Pac-man. 2021 EDIT: I shouldn't complain about a game thats completely free...but its really lost something over 3 years. Several of the best mazes have been removed and they haven't added any new ones for quite a while, even on holidays like they always did. EDIT on 2/5/22: I had to change my 5 stars to just one. For the past MONTH the game won't even load, much less play. It just fades to black right after you "press play." This is on an Android device.

I'm a gamer, and I absolutely love Pac man, So I can't complain. Update: this app has gone downhill ever since. For one, it's not arcade accurate, so if you want to practice for the arcade, look elsewhere. Secondly, it's astonishing how badly this game runs. It freezes, drops frames, lags, and on a decent phone. I didn't think it was possible to have such an old and simplistic game run badly in 2022, 42 years later, truly a feat in the art of terrible programming. Horrible optimization.

Original: Classic Pac-Man with tons of new mazes for free! Does it get any better than this? Edit: Changed to 1-Star review. Hadn't played in a long while and the game is completely different. Menus are slow to load and cluttered, menu navigation is difficult and slow, and the game crashes and throws up error screens frequently. Very disappointed currently.

Great. Just like the arcade game, from the 80s! One caveat: I purchased the 'No Ads Forever' option, as an in-app purchase, but I was still getting ads, even after restarting the app. I ended up contacting their customer service department, in order to effectively get the ads removed. Also, you can use it with a gamepad, which really makes it that much more enjoyable. Now, I'm getting ads again and it locked up my phone so that I had to reboot my phone! Nicht gut!!!

I would've given this app 5 stars, but EVERY TIME I try to use it, I sit thru the loading and then the little music comes on, and if I make it to the home screen, once I click "play," the game crashes. It wasn't just once or twice - I got 2 updates, and still no improvement. Finally, I am giving up. Like I explained to a friend, "This game would be awesome, if I could actually get on the app!"

I used to play this game when I was younger and I really liked it. I've noticed now though that the maze selection thing is gone and you can only play new mazes through the tournaments and stuff. I feel like removing that look a lot out of the game. Still pretty decent but I would REALLY like for the free maze selection to be added back.
