My review is actually based on the fact that I had a miscarriage. The app had an option under settings to report a pregnancy loss and (if I recall correctly) I received a very kind email afterwards with resources & info. After that I never received another email from Ovia. That was really nice. The constant emails & advertisements from other companies was really painful and it sucked having to meticulously unsubscribe from every one.

Updated review: 5 stars again! Customer service responded same day I was experiencing some glitches and helped me get the app working properly again. Quick easy fix and back to daily usage of my favorite app. Thank you! Former Review: Giving 2 stars due to inability to open the app without it crashing. I've emailed support and once they get back to me and help me fix it, I'll come back and re-rate. Before this, I absolutely loved this app! Please fix crashes!

New update made the bugs even worse! All activity data except for steps vanish from the data page the next day (have to go into the previous days log to see it at all), any data under sexuality records as "other" no matter what you input, it crashes when i try to share home page blurbs, and if another app is running you have to close and restart ovia or it just sits on the load screen indefinitely. Used to be a great app. Now id almost rather hand write this stuff than risk losing more data.

It's ok. The food and drink tracking needs updated especially when it comes to logging properly. Doesn't even show how many ounces of anything and the community couldn't even agree on numbers as far as tracking went. I documented that I'm having a girl and Ovia is supposed to be tailored to the user, right? Well, sometimes I get, "he" and sometimes I get "she." Very annoying, but then again, any little thing annoys me at this point. I'll just find another app. Good while it lasted though! :)

I used ovia fertility and ovia pregnancy for my first pregnancy and loved it, only a year ago. It had ads, but they weren't terrible. i used to screenshot the development stage of the pregnancy with the weeks. Now I'm starting to use it again and the ads are out of control. You have to scroll through 4 ads before you get your daily pregnancy development update. I don't mind the ads, but arrange them so I can see what's important to me. I don't want to constantly see an ad about opioid use/abuse.

My baby is almost three and I still go back to reminisce on milestones and my notes. There are two reasons I gave four stars: 1. there is no place for offering feedback, 2. I would like to have some kind of physical copy of my experience (which is a suggestion I would have given in feedback). Otherwise I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

In terms of providing helpful information regarding the growth and changes of you and your baby in an easy to consume way, I'd give this app 5 stars. However there are many things that could use improvement. I don't want to be asked every single day to log my prenatal, or a doc appt, or my weight. I know the features are there. I'll do it if I want. Additionally, the chat feature is not monitored at all and the flagging of questionable or inappropriate posts does not work.

This is definitely the best pregnancy app that I have found so far. I do wish it had a setting for those who conceived through IVF because in the first trimester it's off by a bit on development and conception. Possibly even adding ALL (IUI, etc) the different ways of conceiving as the "traditional" method is not the only way. Infertility or alternative ways of getting pregnant are more and more common and it would be great if we could be accounted for.

I love this pregnancy tracker. It's very informational and helpful. I have used this for 3 of my 4 successful pregnancies and recommend it to everyone who's looking for a pregnancy app. Only thing I would want to change if for when someone is pregnant with multiple babies, they have an idea of what they are looking forward to like the app offers for single pregnancies. Otherwise, hands down, my favorite pregnancy tracker app

Ovia is my favorite pregnancy app! I've tried using others, but I always come back to this one because it's user-friendly, informative, has a calendar, etc. The only thing it's missing is more detailed and realistic pictures of a baby in the womb, or ultrasound pics. I love to see what Baby might look like each week, so I have another app for that.

This app is amazing! Not only does it come with multiple ways to track moods, appointments, eating habits, and so much more, it also provides multiple themes for you to choose from for how it looks and what type of growth comparison you want for your baby. You can write notes to yourself, count kicks, track contractions, find amazing recipes, and read articles about pretty much anything pregnancy related.

It's a great app to keep track of what is happening with your baby each week. Also there is helpful tips on the feed. Community posts sometimes gets a little dramatic but if someone really gets out of hand you can flag their post as inappropriate. Overall a great app! Update: The baby name generator is kind of silly, there's like 4 normal names then a bunch of ridiculous ones. In the womb option is really cool. Its been taking FOREVER to loads posts though, very annoying.

I feel as though this first pregnancy of mine has flown by, and I believe that's due, in part, to Ovia! It gives you weekly updates to look forward to and anticipate, as opposed to just looking forward to the big trimester milestones. I LOVE the interface and options, and I LOVE the resources and articles you have access to with this app! Highly recommend!

This is my favorite pregnancy app, and I've tried about 10. It's got everything I need! Only downside is that there is no way to hide articles or topics that you're not interested in, which can make the home page feel very cluttered. I'd love it if they either added an articles board so that it's separated from the baby and mom tracking, or a way to filter or hide what is showing up on your home/article page, or both. Other than that I'd say it's perfect!

Over all I like Ovia, because I do not have to pay for it, unlike most other pregnancy apps (of what I am looking for in a pregnancy app). However, majority articles do not want to open for me to read, or how to read the development of my baby. Also, I wish there was more than one graph. The only graph is for weight, everything else, I wish I can see how it trends. In some ways I feel like there is just so much on Ovia that it is hard to utilize the apps full potential and difficult to navigate.

Overall I really like this app. I don't use all of the tracking, but its really useful for medication tracking. I wish I could pin certain medications or at least have more than three "recent" ones at the top. Being able to set a notification if I don't record prenatals by a certain time would be a good addition. I like being able to record milestones for future reference. The community function seems unnecessary and could be left to other sources to instead focus on what this app does best.

The contraction timer just deleted one of my entries (i watched it disappear off the screen with no prompting ... and i couldn't correct the app's error manually, so I lost my latest entry), which defeats the purpose of having a contractor timer. There are so many other emotions, and symptoms, activities that count as exercises, and physical complications than they list. and the food safety list isn't very complete for someone who doesn't shop at a generic box grocery store either.

I love this app and feel guilty leaving only four stars, but I do have a few qualms. There are features where you can track and schedule doctor's appointments, which I find very useful, but a notification feature which does not appear to look at that data and repeatedly asks you to record any upcoming visits. At 3 appointments per week, that gets pretty obnoxious. Likewise with health concerns, you can track symptoms, and it will alert you to potentially dangerous situations (headaches and high BP, you should contact your doctor about Pre-eclampsia!), but no option to say. "Yes, my doctor and I are aware of the situation." Otherwise, the app is lovely. Tracking my scheduled appointments was so useful, and I love the tidbits and articles.

This app had some great features like tracking appointments, and cute info each day about the progress of your pregnancy. What it lacks is good trend analysis. I want to be able to look back at all the blood pressure and weight data points, and see trends. It tries to do this for weight but it doesn't let you zoom. I'd like to see compiled info on when I started taking medications, l exercised, or had certain symptoms. What's the point in tracking if you can't do anything with the data?

The information is nice but the user interface is so clunky and crowded that it ruins the functionality. I'd get emails telling me to do things like change the theme of the size comparison (fun!) but then would click the link and be unable to find any way to do so. Also they were feeding me articles about topics I'm uninterested but I couldn't find a way to curate the feed.
