Just started but I like it so far, dialogue is pretty good as it almost feels like I'm talking to actual people, just wish the message bubbles came as one instead of a bunch of little one's, at least for most of the characters since I understand some people actually message like that. Lastly I would like to see a way to message characters instead of having to wait for them to message me. Maybe make it so I would have to collect something in order to message first. Good Game though!

Playing this game is a total blast! I really feel like I'm interacting with real people. Cannot recommend enough for horror fans! The only issue I have is with the mini-games, but not having to play them every so often to progress the story. That's fine. No, it's that they become unnecessarily difficult, even at the so-called "easy" levels. The only way to win them is to buy more coins, too, which is annoying. Edit: Looking forward to the finale! Edit 2: OMG! I freaking loved it!

The story is cool, I'm interested in the characters, and I really like the multimedia elements. This game would probably get a much higher review from me if I were able to finish it, but the horrible mini-game has made that impossible. It's not *just* that it's ridiculously hard after a certain point -- it's also just not any fun at all. I don't want to waste my time on a boring, frustrating slog to get back to the good parts. I wish I could get to find out what happens. Oh well.

I love this game. The story starts out as a nice, slow burn and the characters were real enough. By nature of this format, I can't say felt 100% real but it is what it is. However, further on in the story the cutscenes feel a little campy and there is a heavy reliance on jump scares, and that gets old. After a few episodes the hacking Minigames are laughably difficult, obviously rigged to make you want to buy your way out of them. Oh well. I am patient, and I want to see how it ends!

The game is very intriguing and lures you in successfully enough. Then, things get more difficult in the mini-games so that you cannot progress in the story without spending real money. This is pretty screwed up since this game is advertised to be a totally free game. In a way, it feels like false advertising. 😕 It DOES allow you to watch LONG videos to get extra turns in the mini-games. But you run out of THOSE opportunities as well. This game is only good if you have real $$$ to spend.

The story, the texting, the production is all absolutely incredible. I love it. However....when I read the reviews of this game, I thought "How bad could the mini-game be?" WOW! It is awful! Just hard luck 80% of the time unless you want to pay. Skill only works if you really are amazing at it but luck works against you. Pay or watch videos to proceed.

I love the story line and interacting with the characters. I find this game to be quite a fun experience! But, the hacks/challenges get REALLY difficult, and I feel like we should have more moves to get all the colors, instead of constantly watching an add to get 2 more moves or paying five coins to get 4 more. It just makes it a little frustrating when you can't get past a level and would like to see where the story goes next. But over all, great game! 😊

So slow. You can only interact and engage as the game thinks you will. At first, I was super engaged in the story, but oof. It really gets drawn out. I bought the flat pack thinking that I would speed everything along... not so much. Premise is good, but I'd prefer a skip option if you've figured out where things are leading.

I was enjoying the story and didn't mind the mini games (at first). Now I'm stuck trying to win what seems like an impossible mini game just to continue. The mini games seem to not drop the color you are needing to complete it and it becomes infuriating.

Very interactive, immersion is out of this world. It's mind bending and intriguing, you're constantly on the edge of your seat. Horror just blends with the theatrical thiller mystery of haunted places, spine chilling screams echoes of a horrific end to damned souls trapped in limbo. You're welcome to dive deeper into the roleplaying single player horror game that distracts you from any annoyance

Ghosts of tortured orphans, an apocalypse desiring demon? What could go wrong?? Orphans was a lot of fun to play. It really is worth paying the fee to skip the mini games or be able to choose the premium answers. Also at the end you get to go back and change answers if you want and change how the story went. If you like these text mystery games and jump scares, this one is awesome!

Tried to keep going for the story but its just not engaging enough for the terrible minigames. They are uninteresting and mostly rigged for you to fail so that you will either watch an ad for extra plays, or have to purchase more hearts. There's alot of ads. While I enjoy having the OPTION to watch ads, I don't like it shoved in my face, especially when you realize so much of the game is based around them. Wanted to like this game. Sad I can't get through it.

I love these kinds of games, and I'm hooked so far, I even enjoy the mini games. The issue is that it's impossible to get through the mini game levels without spending in-game money or watching a ton of ads (which doesn't always help.) They feel rigged to lose to the point that waiting for your lives to restore makes you lose interest. Other than that, the game is fun and pretty spooky!

Favorite game I've ever played on my phone, bar none. I enjoy other adventure games and puzzle games but I have never enjoyed a game as much as this. Discovering this game reminds me of discovering the original Myst, way back when. It was fun, scary, freaky, and heart pounding. I could have done without the mini games, but only because they slowed down my progress, not because I disliked them. I will be looking for more by these people! Bravo!

Fun and immersive game! Great for fans of Duskwood! I like that I can play without paying for the additional content, although if it were more affordable then I would be more likely to buy it. I can't justify $13/month or $35 once. If it were $5/month or $20 once, that would be more reasonable, especially since there's no way of knowing whether the purchase even affects the storyline.

Orphans was suggested to me as being similar to An Elmwood Trail, but it isn't. They both use conversations on a cell phone with limited responses on my end to tell a story. Orphans also only has one screen, which is the phone. I played Orphans for around an hour and the plot barely progressed. The text appears so slow to me, as an avid reader, that I was bored waiting for it to pop up. If I could tap to speed up messages I might play more but as is it's boring.

Great game so far, I enjoy the characters, the story is interesting and the chat system is cool. The video, pictures and audio are all also good quality and I really appreciate it. That said, whoever created the connect system, made it unskippable and charged $13.00 has committed a crime against humanity. It's the most annoying set up I've ever seen in this kind of game.

The story is really fun! I just hate how there isn't really any puzzles like An Elmwood Trail. Well, there is the hacking dot game, but that really sucks. It's super repetitive, and you only get one coin from doing so, and if you don't want to do it, you have to pay coins to skip it. And if you can't do it in the very few moves they give you, you either have to pay coins to get more moves or watch ads, and eventually, the ads go away. And the sad thing is, is that you can't avoid them.

It's a pretty cool like reality game. You feel as if you're really living this life with these characters in the game. The only thing that I wish would change a little is how much each character writes in a message. Instead of breaking up each message, I wish they would put their messages into one instead of one after the other after the other. But, it's still really nothing to complain about or taking away stars because it's so a really good game!

The puzzles are designed to be impossible unless you pay money or just wait until the game allows you to pass. They're not *really* puzzles because they aren't actually solvable. It's more like a slot machine. It will pay out... eventually. The problem is is that I've been stuck on a "puzzle" for long enough I've forgotten the plot. So I'm just done playing.
