Hello Darkempire, App doesn't close with lock screen. i.e. when the lock screen button is pushed screen turns off but when it's pushed again the calc app is open and usable without unlocking the phone. I actually like that it does this but it needs a setting to enable or disable this function. Keep up the good work.

Imagine, place of Zero is same in Calling Pad, also in most popular Calculator apps, but diffirent in this app 🤦‍♂️ And you can't change it, although it's open-source app

It's good calculator, the UI/UX like Google Calculator. Developer have to provide other theme, I sure I will pay for premium version with another themes.

Great and lightweight. I would appreciate an automatically scaling font size for numbers in calculation, and also option to enable using multiple rows for the calculation. This would enable viewing a long calculation at once, without horizontal scrolling.

I've had to delete this app because no matter what I do, it will not retain history. I've emptied cache and storage and it's made no difference. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it's made no difference, the history is not retained.

This app is an open source replica of the Google Calculator. This app unlike Google Calculator doesn't collect any data and doesn't therefore require Google Play Services on your device. The Material You design looks identical to the one found on Google Calculator. There haven't been many issues and if there were, a bug report on Github and it gets fixed very fast. Would recommend this app to everyone.

All good except one small point. The history doesn't work until you enter a new calculation. Open the app, try to access the history, it's blank. Enter 1+2 and hit return and the history is there.

great app EXCEPT it blocks the input of a decimal point before an operator symbol. (edit: only when there is another decimal later in the equation. try changing 52x0.5 into 52.5x0.5. the program will not accept adding a decimal between 2 and x.) Please change this behaviour!!! What we type should be what we get. just display syntax error if it doesn't make sense. (further edit: also doesn't accept lone operators? stupid. it shouldn't block any inputs. at least make that a setting plz)

Open as in open to use ...heads up even a simple calculator will give you free math which one could do with a pen and paper lol only to threaten to go on math strike if you refuse to buy into a freaking upgrade to numbers upgrade or this calculator goes on strike! WELL I CHECKED OUT MANY FREE CALCULATORS THIS ONE IS BEST the last one I just uninstalled was way cool...they all sell out ....me giving 5 stars here just speeds up the sell out process

Where's the memory keys?!?! This app would be perfect otherwise. The memory keys could be turned on in the settings. Otherwise this would be five stars perfection.

It's what it says on the tin, a free, open source calculator app, extremely similar to the stock android calculator, such as the one you'd have in a Pixel phone. Would like to see the option to further customize decimal markers beyond what is set by the device locale!

A feature request: 1. Decrease space occupied by buttons, give more space for results. 2. Option to decrease font size. 3. Adjust font size automatically so that expression and result fits the screen without horizontal scrolling. 4. Show not just the latest result but also previous results, as much as fits into the result space depending on font size (i.e. always show a little history without even dragging history bar) 5. Show not just the result but also the expression.

Absolutely the BEST simple yet function available calculator, elegant and easy to use. Best yet, NO afs. Unless you absolutely need graphing fn() THIS is the App you will want Only minor gripe, and there probably already are skins available... For the geek in me. Actually the appearance is quite well designed so probably skins not necessary! Support to development definitely deserved. Thanks. M.

Works as intended & looks good. That's all that matters. Has no ads, tracking or overwhelmingly complex UI, good for daily use. Being able to write/edit mathematical expressions is one important thing I want in a calculator. This is one of the very few calculators which offer this feature.

Finally, no more using the annoying default Google Calculator which has tons of Google data collection draining my battery sending my data back to Google servers. This calculator is very lightweight at only 2MB and it has a lot of options in the settings. I love the AMOLED dark theme which helps save battery. My only suggestion would to add a "floating window" option like on LG's old apps (known as QSlide).

A FANTASTIC alternative to Google Calculator!!! OpenCalc can do everything Google Calculator can do, and more. The Material You theme is plain eye candy, and I appreciate the automatic switching of themes based on time. The history feature is valuable, letting me access calculations made months or years ago. The app collects no data. And of course, it can do a plethora of operations, from basic addition and subtraction to trigonometry to logarithms. I'm officially in love with OpenCalc!

Whoa! An calculator without spying and constantly updated privacy terms! 😆 And it can calculate too! I hope it also is without constant updates and updated privacy violations too as math is quite stable. Think about the density of the dystopia we are living in, you dont natively have a unspying calculator (or keyboard or etc..) on your superphone and at the same time such option is made hard to find with dark patterns on app store.

I had a long formula. I needed to delete 2 digits. I tapped the back / delete button twice and the whole equation vanished. It should NOT work that way. It still happens without a long press. So messed up. Old: Decimal points are not accepted in this app in certain situations though needed.

Good start, my 1 issue: Dark theme buttons are egregious. The bright RGB UI looks amateur. E.g: Using the My Material design with my phones dark mode on looks amazing. There needs to be a My Material (dark) theme as an option, Im not switching to dark mode on my phone only for this app. @dev, it wasn't working initially, forced stop the app after turning scientific now works! Thank you! (My Material dark theme, someday? Maybe? Pwease.)

This is basically the same as the built in calculator, except it takes up less space. The only problem is that when I open the scientific calculator section, the symbols don't shrink, so everything looks cramped and partially cut off. It's still better for small screens than other FOSS calculators I tried (which didn't work at all because of the screen size) and I can still read the symbols.
