This new update is bad. Why is 1/3 of the opening scene taking up by the title of the screen and why have "hidden content" right where everyone can see it? Might as well put a neon flashing light around it since it got rid of plausible deniability. **Update** They have brought back being able to see all your photos so I guess there's that. Everything else still is trash.

Useless "upgrade". One of the most used tools - CROP - is now hidden behind another screen tap (on Adjust). What makes that even worse is that the bottom row of choices where "Adjust" sits has only 3 icons and a lightyear of empty space!!! Please for the sake of all that is still reasonable and pragmatic: Don't mess with "Works well" and leave functional things alone

I get random galleries full of ad cache (mainly UnityAds) every once and a while! I've looked up solutions, downloaded a cache clearer, and uninstalled some games that could be causing the problem. Please just make it to where I don't have to bother deleting them! I had an iPhone and I have to say their gallery never allowed any unauthorized random downloads in my gallery and they were generally a better feeling interface (zooming/swiping was more intuitive). iOS > Android in this department.

The new gallery redesign is a big step in the wrong direction. there's no way to customize the order of the collections! So a collection you use often and you want easily available is Now hidden under apps. there's also no way to hide collections as there used to which was very useful for personal images. please return customizability and the ability to hide collections back to this gallery

The edit/delete buttons don't need to disappear if you don't tap something fast enough. They don't hide any of the picture, and sometimes they won't come back until you swipe between pictures. Also, why is the ability to share an edited photo without saving a copy only in the screenshot editor? There's no reason that can't be part of the "normal" editor.

Currently, I am having trouble looking through my collections. I've tried refreshing, force stopping and deleting cache and it still stalls. The "not responding" screen still appears. I've given feedback before but I doubt anything has changed. I don't know if an update caused this or maybe I have too many pictures in there, but even still, I should be able to view them without it stop responding.

Would like for the app to be more flexible with their UI, instead of forcing the whole "having ALL your folders showing and separate them in categories that makes no sense". And the "favorites" folder is so unnecessary - let us choose what folders we do want to see in the gallery and which ones we don't. Also, they removed the capability to share towards specific apps (to include Snapchat).

Thank goodness for Titanium Backup. The new update is so slow I can be looking at photos from a week ago before the photos I took 10 minutes ago even show up. Even when I take a picture or a video they show up all pixelated and then they disappear and then I have to hit the back button and then find it again. What a mess please fix the gallery the last version was so much better on Android 10

Edit: Deducting 2-stars now because can't view folders vertically in the, "Collections" tab anymore without having to tap on, "VIEW ALL" first with latest update. Much easier to see/view photos & folders scrolling vertically than horizontally. Simple, direct & easy to use prior to update. Options to edit photo names & move, "Recently Deleted" section to the top instead of the bottom would be nice. Annoying to scroll all the way down just to permanently delete pics especially one's I just took.

Normally a nice app, but the latest update brought some terrible design changes. The app has previously been broken into Photos, Collections, and Explore sections. Now those sections each have a massive header which takes up about half the screen (with mostly whitespace) until you scroll down. Getting between the sections is also awkward now because you need to scroll sideways to do so, but the Collections are organized horizontally with sideways scrolling needed to navigate them first.

I hate the new version (3.3.1). To access my image folders now I have to reach out to the top of the giant 6.4" screen and acroll horizontally instead of the easy to use vertical swipe. New look is not even pleasing enough to enhance the experience. Please go back to the way the gallery was earlier, else I might have to look into other gallery apps.

I thought the UI was bad before the update, but I didn't think it could get worse but it did. Why are the folders reorganized AGAIN into a sub category once more. What infuriates me the most is that fact the both the top and bottom row move together when you scroll, making it even harder to locate the folders you want to go into, especially since there isn't an option to alphabetize it, so your most recent folder is the one that shows up first. There is no reasonable organization going on.

App takes forever to load pictures once you open it and you have a couple thousand pics, which, let's be real, isn't that much in 2022. Sometimes it works fine but other times I'll take a screenshot and have to wait a minute for it to appear and load, since for some reason gallery has to reload all the folders every time you open it. Not efficient and certainly doesn't look good.

App is a bit clunky. Was ok until I tried to delete photos. Now the photos are gone, but there's a ghost for each photo. All the folders still exist. Says there's still the same amount of photos but if you click them, they don't load. Have reset the cache and data. Have also checked the file locations with a file browser and there's nothing there. So it's definitely this app being buggy.

This app was tolerable until the recent update. I don't know what they were thinking, but the app is terrible now. You used to be able to organize your albums in any order you wanted, but they took that away. Now it organizes itself by the last album that was added to. Which, if you have some sensitive images in an album, you don't exactly want that at the top of your album list. You can't rename your albums either. Please fix this app, and make it actually useable.

Terrible bugs. 1. When trimming videos, no matter what video it is, the size of the video skyrockets. I can trim a 10 second video originally 5mbs to 5 seconds, and the size will go up to 20mbs. Why? There is no fix for this. 2. Whenever playing videos, the first 1-2 seconds are always cut off. You can't rewind and watch it, it's impossible. The only way to see the very beginning of your videos is to download another gallery app.

The app cannot handle having many photos. It just keeps reloading and glitching. At a point, I was stuck in a loop where the app would load my photos, which took like 5 minutes, I would try to look through them, it would freeze, I would switch out and come back (within 10 secs later), and I would be back at square one where it would be loading my photos again. In addition, it could not handle all of the photos types I have. Just a bad stock app that tries too hard to be like iOS photo app.

Since a few months ago, the app has been extremely, extremely slow. Like, you can't even scroll slow. It might register a scroll movement, but it'd perform the scroll a few sec *after* you scroll. Images load incredibly slow, and many times the Gallery app has to force close. If you scroll enough, or go through enough images, after a while the app will suddenly work perfectly fine and smooth. It's as if it's trying to preload everything, which never happened previously. Only happens on this app.

Unable to select several photos at once, have to select and perform action individually. Creating custom albums isn't available in it's settings, not everything is a story. I would LOVE to find a gallery like LG's phones, K20 Plus had a sensible layout and settings were perfect for creating dozens of albums and you could arrange, move pics to other albums, select multiple pics together for chosen option, edit, crop, set as, upload, print, share, etc., everything I needed to do was there & easy

12.3.2023 When editing photo's with your app and I want to keep the photo when done by clicking the top right check mark it states low storage. Impossible with ten's of gig's on the phone. This is my go to app. Without a fix I am forced to screenshot the fixed photo to save it. This creates duplicates and a lot of unecessary extra steps. Otherwise really good app, easy to use, gets the job done quickly all in one place! Update of stars upon a fix. Thank You and I look forward to a fix.
