Fast pair on Oneplus buds z not working anymore. It works at first time, then after I update it it didn't work anymore. I've uninstalled this app to see if the problem was from the app or not and I found out it's from the app because I've installed melody and it works. Edit: i found out that the firmware changed to chinese version although that it was in global version and the buds is a global version, so how is that happened!!

Seems like the audio drops that almost all the users were facing is finally fixed after a numerous amounts of complaints. I haven't experienced any since updating to the latest version of this app that was pushed a few days back but I will still hold my final judgement until a few more days. It's all good now and there are finally no audio drops but I will update again later. This was for OnePlus Buds Z + OnePlus 6. Edit: Back to 1*. I was wrong. The audio drop problem still exists.

I like hey melody more than this app. Unable to access one plus buds pro settings unless i go to bluetooth settings. Another thing that I hate the most is the limitation for single and double tap customisation. I depend on asistant most of the time esp. when riding bike. Tripple pinch is not so easy when you wear helmet. Please allow customisation for single and double pinch. Otherwise, I will have to ditch one Plus for samsung. They allow customisation as well as voice trigger for Bixby.

Everytime I switch between apps My Buds stops giving output for a Sec and them play again. A lot of bugs can't connect when opening the case, the Battery meter for the case should be live so that we can check directly from the phone and don't have to open the case again and again also the battery percentage for case is inaccurate fix these bugs I can't access the Audio tuner for the buds which was Accessible when i first bought it, tried to reset but didn't fix the issue. What are you doing 1+

I got my One Plus Buds Z couple of days back. It works perfectly fine when connected to my One Plus 7. But once I am connected to PC , output goes mute for couple of seconds and gets back on. And sometimes for a second it only plays in one ear and then goes back to the normal. I searched for the same issue over Google and found lot of other Buds owners are also facing the same issue. Any suggestions plz.

Forced on me, don't want it, don't need it and seems i can't even disable it! The fact it is unobtrusive and takes up little space is irrelevant, it's the principal of the thing. I came to OnePlus because of it's near stock android experience and lack of bloatware. Their new Android 11 skin (on its way) seems to be a less polished version of Samsung's UI and now they are forcing Facebook bloatware. I love my 7pro but it's likely to be my last OnePlus phone… Shame!

Purchased as soon as available. Excellent sound specially after update spatial effect quite pronounced. Many instruments in songs earlier not audible in normal speaker is now very clear. Voice quality also very good. Battery life quite good. However facing issue with bluetooth disconnection, now quite frequent both with bluetooth 4 and 5 devices. This needs for urgent rectification - that's why 4 star.

I just recently bought the Ear buds. It was working fine in the beginning, but later the Ear buds microphone stopped working. It stopped working after an update. Even after the latest update the microphone of the ear buds doesn't work. The app dosent have any troubleshooter to find the issue. The app can have some tester to check whether the ear buds are working fine.

The buds audio quality is just fine. There are connectivity issues and the limited functions of the touch pads. There are basically only two controls. You need to add single touch and long press function. Also the battery levels displays are just way off. It disconnects for a second while I move my head. Needs a lot of bug fixes

The sound quality of the buds are great but the auto pause and play is awful, randomly stops every 10 seconds thinking you have taken the bud out of your ear, no amount of cleaning the sensors fixes it. Why don't you add a switch to disable auto pause/play. A lot of people have suggested this on your website but you don't seem to listen, I've had to stop using my buds and likely won't buy again unless this is fixed as it makes them unusable

Functions as intended, but *desperately* needs to add additional gesture controls—currently there's double tap with 4 actions, and you can only have one programmed to each side. Single and triple tap controls, along with other customized controls and actions are an absolute MUST for this otherwise excellent software/hardware combo.

This really should be an individual/standalone app, not an addition in the Bluetooth menu. It's just a bad and unintuitive user experience. As an individual app, we could place it on the home screen, create shortcuts, or it could even have interactive widgets. Overall, it works OK, but the implementation could be a lot better.

I really like the OnePlus buds and in my opinion the base is better than that of the Galaxy Buds. But the big thing I am missing is the luxury/options like on the Galaxy Buds app. For example controlling functions like tap once, twice and hold. As of now you can only change tap twice. I would really like to see this in a future software update. This is the biggest issue for me.

Horrible! It took me 15 minutes to connect buds z on my 7T, then accidentally forgot device and it will not reconnect for the past 30 minutes. On Nord it connected immediately. FIX IT!!! Update: for all who might have connection problem, I managed to connect my 7T by pressing the connect button until the light becomes white, BUT DIDN'T press the add device in Bluetooth settings. It then recognized it. If you press the add, it adds it without the special functions for each bud.

Same message as other users - don't force this on us! OP seems to be heading down a very questionable road as of late, having seemingly lost sight of what originally made them great (listening to what users actually want, not what OP feels is best). First Netflix & FB, then Android 11's ground-up overhaul, now this. Not great choices, OP!!

The app is good, but it lacks so much I mean the original OnePlus buds should have controls that mimick the razer hammer head true wireless or basically anything that's not just two controls. Also there should be an option to save audio presets or presets like bass boost, treble focus for like pop music. Legit it's been like 3 months and they haven't fixed a simple firmware issue just add more custom controls.

Would like to write a review about this app.......if it would activate when the headphones connect. I'm having issues with that alone, they won't even pair when I open the case and I just got them 30 MINS AGO!!!! Are you kidding me!? By some miracle I was able to connect them, but my phone (OnePlus 8) won't even recognize them for what they are. It thinks it's just another headphone. Ridiculous

Buds worked great the last 4 months. Within the last few days the call volume has become so faint that it has essentially disappeared. What happened? Since I'm not the only person complaining about this, I assume this is caused by a recent update. Seems to me that incoming call would be a basic function that should be tested before rolling out an update. Another example of how OnePlus has fallen from its glory days.

The Bud battery level prompt is a mess and really unresponsive. It often disconnects for no reason and I shouldn't have to put the buds into the case for it to connect. Keep in mind through my experience, you cannot connect to just the bud without the case open and inside. Please continue to optimize the app to not just the newer OnePlus devices, but oh I don't know the ones released last year? I'm starting to get jealous of the flawless Apple ecosystem.

Sound fine for what they are so far and connect ok. But not having volume controls is a bit of a dealbreaker for tws. Phone is still on me like normal headphones. Skips are pretty much useless in my case when listening to music streams. Try adding skips for long taps and quick taps for volume changes something. Just skips and voice assistance is a bit annoying and limited. Posted here as its not a physical issue and the tech is there but software lacking.
