How to Play

Some items will restore HP, others restore mana or give you temporary boosts. If you find yourself low on life or mana, you can stop at any given time and come here to replenish. Enemies move as you move in this turn-based roguelike game so it's important to have a strategy between each battle.

It's a fun game, simple and easy to pick up. However, the unapologetic insta-death just for exploring "going backwards" is insane, with no way to revive aside from paying money or waiting 30 minutes, really ruined it for me by halting the good momentum/first impression I had starting out. Made me want to switch to another app instead.

I haven't really gotten into the heart of the game since I've only played for an hour or so (so rating might change), but I'm addicted. The controls are extremely simple and I love that the game doesn't hand hold you for every single thing. The music and the style remind me of my time playing dragon quest and I can't get over how fun this is. There's just something about advancing... floors? Lines? That make me want to climb higher.

OneBit Adventure has a good idea of being a very simple roguelike adventure game that's accessible to anyone, but at the cost of feeling a little too simple and repetitive. The game feels like a grind, you just move forward, collect coins, bash into enemies, heal every now and then, rinse repeat. Graphically, simplicity is what gives the game a ton of charm. But, gameplay wise, it feels shallow and doesn't compel me to return. I hope that future updates add more elements to the game.

I'm enjoying the game so far, but there are bugs. Most recently, I equiped my archer with a bow and my range decreased from 2 to 1; I kind of doubt that's how it's supposed to work. Some text errors, it can be difficult to press the lock/unlock on equipment as well as the Necromancer's soul count tab. Mostly fairly minor nuisances, overall it's fun and easy to learn.

One of the best games I've played; not just on mobile, but on console even. I'm absolutely in love with it ❤ It's a fantastic game for anyone that wants to jump right into action. It cuts away to the best parts of an adventure; leveling up, treasure, weapons/armor, upgrades, potions/items, interesting enemies/bosses, and dungeons. I could seriously play this all day long, I really want to 😅

WYSIWYG. Super simple play, since there are only four choices to make. Easy on the eyes, being bit-style graphics. Many features and details to explore, but the core gameplay loop is very small. No ad or pay pressure - would donate a dollar or two. Suggestions; 1. A one handed option for the UI, so active skills can be moved to the other side of the screen 2. The same 10x option used to buy from the seller, but for using consumables in your inventory. 3. No player effects in guide. Quick break?

Addictive. I've spent too much time playing this. I'm not sure why I like it as much as I do. You move in one direction, up the screen, further onward in the world of the game. Along the way you level up, collect weapons and armor, and eventually new skills. There are shops and inventory management and bosses. I think I like it because it contains all the basic elements of an RPG and delivers it in a stripped down low def package. This is to a granola or Clif bar as RPGs are to full meals

I really admire this game for it's combination of effect and simplicity. Progression is paced well and I haven't found myself bored with it yet. However there is one mechanic that bothers me and that is regarding the base-stats of equipment. I would like to be able to view the base-stats of equipment that I have upgraded, so I can more accurately compare new equipment to the rest of inventory. I think it would help players overall to know a bit more about equipment.

This is the most fun I've had playing a mobile game. Seriously. The adventuring really is endless, the characters are interesting with their own specific traits (and you can switch between them, having different playthrough for each one), the graphics are of course adorable. Plus it's challenging enough to make me strategize a bit. No annoying ads either; they're entirely optional. I have nothing bad to say about it. marvelous job, devs.

Only just passed the first cave, and wow already this game has me hooked. The enemies and their attack patterns and the upgrade and leveling system are all fun and engaging, the game is fast-paced with the psuedo auto-scroll level design, goodies are paced well and incentivize planning routes for all the best loot, and so far the game is a solid 10/10 for me. One thing I'd like to ask about, the enemy's health bars sometimes appear in random places on the screen? Just curious if that is intended

OneBit Adventure is a neat survival game which involves collecting coins and equipment, fighting monsters, and the intrinsic goal of going as far as possible. It's a simple vertical scroller with its main focus being the utilization of the various character's abilities. With no end in sight, the black-and-white pixel environment alongside the adventure bit-music can be tiresome stimulus. I wish there was more content, such as different environments and music after a certain number of steps. 3/5.

Update: Game was removed from Play Pass, so i removed my feeback about pay elements. Thanks for the quick response! Been playing a lot, and enjoy the base systems! In general, would like more documentation! Character classes can be a little confusing, for instance, I don't quite understand the advantage of playing as the Necro when transforming feels random and requires greater numbers of kills each time.

I have played much, but I like it, only thing I noticed that was a bit annoying, the controls are just a bit difficult, since you can go diagonal with the cursor but not the character, it makes controlling it for long periods of time difficult, a d-pad type control might work a bit easier to use for control, but otherwise, fun, I will continue to update things too, bc the game just seems fun and interesting, recommending it to my friends

Played pretty consistently, found the game play simple but addictive. Later in the game, around level 40, suddenly you begin seeing enemies that inflict "death" which makes you die in ad little as 10 steps. Basically makes certain areas impossible to pass without using diamonds to revive, which inherently becomes a pay wall. Would have happily continued playing, even spending money on diamonds but this can drain your entire supply (I lost about 2000) so quickly I am going to uninstall.

Excellent game. I love rogue like games, and the charm behind this one is only rivaled by it's simplicity and its entertainment. I can spend hours walking through the dungeons and feel like no time has passed. I'm especially grateful for the lack of interruptions during gameplay and the lack of emphasis on micro-transactions. Skins for your characters and themes for the game can be bought using the in-game collectibles, which encourages more gameplay. Absolutely recommend this to anyone.

This game is the opposite of "it gets better". By 12000 steps you have done everything there is to do. It goes to 100k steps, and you can reset your character at level 100, but there is no point. Not only that, but it actively gets worse as you play. Dungeon spawns and bosses become fewer and fewer, at 18k-21k steps I encountered 2 dungeons and 2 bosses. Otherwise it was just the same terrain on repeat. It gets worse, because the quest system relies on dungeons.

One of the best rouge likes I've played on my phone. I love the game, I just have a few recommendations for the developers. 1. When drinking a potion, it will make you exit your inventory, and any enemy can move/attack. In other words, you can only drink one potion, or eat one item, and then your turn is over. 2. Balance the wizard, and buff status-basrd characters (like the pyromancer). Their entire character built off of fire, and you need skill points to get more of fire? Thanks for reading!

So far... good. About a week later: I really enjoy this adorable little game... Except one aspect. I have to use the in game rare currency to make it easier for me to see. I'm colorblind and it is difficult to see everything on the screen so I'll need to pick a theme I can actually use... Problem is, that costs in game currency. Stays at only 4 stars.

Finally, a decent mobile roguelike! There are no ads, and spending real money doesn't seem necessary to progress (in fact, the purchases are so unobtrusive, I'm having trouble finding them). My only complaint is that I can't see the stats on my gear in the equipment menu (or if there's a way to see it, I can't find it). This will keep me busy for a while.

It's quite addictive... Fun at first, but I have a couple gripes about this game; I don't have time to spend 30 minutes walking to the next save spot, sometimes I only have 15. I've completely stopped playing because I look at the time I have, and don't have that kind of time to invest at one time. Another thing that I don't like is how hard it is to find out what things do. Does magic effect puppets, like magic effect? It gets so repetitive and there are plenty of games to be addicted to.
