Entertaining word game, with a decent variety of subjects and a mix of difficulty, although some words show up so often that they are predictable. I purchased a pack of tokens to reduce the amount of ads, it was worth it once, but there needs to be a way to use the coins to get tokens...I had over 10,000 coins by chapter 7. With token requirements increasing, I have to watch more ads and play fewer puzzles each time I log on. It won't be long before an ad catches my interest and I switch games.

Really good challenging game. It's keeps you intrigued and engaged. Ads are not bad except at times there's no option to exit even after the 25sec mark and you've to force close the app and open again. Cons: Cannot zoom the image. Don't have the option to buy the 1st words of the puzzle using coins unless it automatically pops up. This option should be there for the bonus puzzle since they're are harder to solve!

I love the game.. But the ads hang up the app everytime I watch them now. They don't end and I have to close the app and restart and then also I don't get the reward which the ad should have got for me. Very frustrating. Gonna stick with it for now because the game is so good (that's why 2 stars) and entertaining but if this continues, I'll have to uninstall it.

I understand that ads are necessary in a free game, but when you agree to watch an ad for more tokens, and then another unskippable ad automatically plays right after, that's overkill. Every time you move between screens an ad plays. I actually like this game and would play it longer if I had the option to skip some ads, but many times I get so frustrated with the ads that I quit and go play something else.

UPDATE: Had to change to a three. The ads have gotten ridiculous! One before you start the game and on after. They are all over 30 seconds too. This is my new favorite game! Harder than it looks. If you enjoy a good crossword puzzle, this is the game for you! I also like that they continue to give you free tokens without having to pay. You might have to watch a video but that's it! I just wish they would stop with the notifications! One a day would suffice! Fun!

This is a really enjoyable game that is exactly what it says: You solve crosswords based on one image. Some of the words aren't what you'd expect, so you have to think out of the box sometimes. I appreciate that we get to choose when and why we watch ads; very good balance between preserving their ad revenue and not overwhelming the gameplay with ads. Love doing this while waiting for appointments.

It's a fun word game, quite enjoyable. The downsides are that there are some words tgat are not common and therefore hard to find, the tokens run out quickly without many ways of replenishing, and there are a good number of ads. I also caught a typo in one of the words early on, but overall I think the game is definitely still worth a try for anyone looking for a fun word scramble/crossword.

It's fun and a great concept but it is very slow. If they streamline the time it takes to move to the next puzzle that would make things better. The worst part, in my opinion, is how slow the sticker popup screen is and, not only that, but the timer to lose tokens KEEPS GOING! It would also be helpful to be at to accumulate more than 10 coins. these problems were fixed it'd easily get a solid five stars from me!

The gameplay is perfect. The tokens are terrible. You need tokens to play levels, and they recharge over time to a maximum of 10 but most puzzles cost more than 10 - some of the puzzles cost 30! You can get more tokens by watching ads, but they also have pop up ads in the game. So if you want to actually play the levels, you have to watch tons of ads. Not worth it which is shame because I really love this game.

It's fairly fun but a ton of ads! Sometimes I have to watch 2 or 3 add between each game. After I solve it goes to an ad, then when I click "continue" another ad. And many of them don't allow you to click out a few seconds in, you have to watch the entire 30 seconds or so. One ad is very irritating, last nearly a minute due to multiple clicks getting it closed out. I can see myself getting tired of this app real soon.

I like the game. I do not like how slow things are between puzzles. I need to wait for yes/no & continue options between every puzzle. Some graphics are not necessary. And WOW! Ad city! I detest ads that occur too frequently. I like the option of "do you want to watch an ad" but when I'm inundated with "You said no? Well, here's an ad anyway!" I feel abused.

I loved this when I started playing...then the onslaught of ads came along. I'm fine with ads, I know they keep some apps running, but the amount of ads compared to game play here is absolutely ridiculous. And it's the same ad over and over and over. Great concept, it combines two of my favorites type of word puzzles... crossword and word scramble. But it's not worth the frustrating ads and being kicked off due to the repetitiveness.

Well I liked it enough after just a couple of levels to throw $3 at it for no ads...and then the next level had a word misspelled. And then the next level had two words that weren't in the picture. It looks good, gameplay is easy and fun, and they grabbed me with the collectable "stickers," so I recommend giving it a shot. But if you get stuck, keep in mind the word might not be spelled right or even in the picture. Idk consider it hard mode I guess. ;P

The game is fun for a while, but each time you get into the app, one token gets added every 2 minutes and completely stops at 10. So once you get to the puzzles that need 11 or more tokens to play, you can't play them without buying more tokens. Then all you can do is play the "daily puzzle" once per day unless you're willing to pay money to continue, which I'm not!

Way too many ads! You run out of tokens to play fast, and they don't give much options to get more unless you buy. It takes a lot of tokens to play one puzzle. I don't buy anything on any games, especially this one because the tokens are very costly... just not worth it! I finally gave up and uninstalled. Considering all if the bs ads you watch, you'd think they'd give you more tokens... nope, just coins the majority of the time.

It could be great, but it maxes you out at 10 tokens when you wait on the timer refills. But you need 40-60 tokens to play levels. Right now there is a *sale!* so it won't let me watch ads for tokens at all. That leaves me waiting for bonus games. You can't skip the 30+ second ads. Thats most of them. The game is hard, but engaging, so it could be a great game... but with unfair token lock-outs and not being able to skip ads that are looonnngggg, I might have to find a new game to play.

The game itself seems nice, although the ads before purchase are definitely too intrusive. The biggest issues with the game itself come when the answer is not actually in the picture, or with the unfair token cap vs cost of puzzle. But the reason this is 3 stars is that you need to fix your ads. I agree to watch an ad for a bonus- I get a black screen, with the ad audio playing. Eventually an X pops, I press it, being notified I'm forfeiting reward. And then the ad starts. And I get nothing, ofc

I really love playing this. I try to play it everyday and sometimes more. The only problem is that if I can't figure out the words and keep ahead being able of getting the coins or token I miss getting to play. I do know you do offer free coins and tokens at different times. Not enough. Don't have the option of buying more coins or token. After awhile I'll just delete the game completely and quit telling anybody how I enjoy it. Out of 1-5 it would have been a 5+.

I really love one clue crosswords. But there are FAR too many ads, and also too many unnecessary taps on "Continue" buttons. If I claim a reward, you already have an animation indicating that. Just close the pop-up. But the biggest issue: If I take a few seconds sitting on the home screen deciding which puzzle to play, an ad will pop up. That is NOT acceptable. Time-based ads in an idle portion of the app is far beyond the bounds of good sense.

Update: The game has stopped working for me entirely. I contacted support and they said, "Oh, wait for an update for your phone and it should be fine. Definitely dont delete the app though." At least a month later, phone's been updated and nothing's changed. App still doesn't work. Now it's just taking up space... Loved the game and I'm fine with ads before and after crosswords since I haven't paid but I'm now getting ads in the middle of puzzles multiple times like popups and it's too much.
