Won't connect to app. Says Device Unauthorized. Prompt when earbuds are turned on is in Chinese not English. Plus, the earbuds I got were not what was pictured. Has no battery indicator. Earbuds don't have an on/ off button. Despite several emails asking to return and get refund, they wanted to compensate me with $7. Don't recommend the earbuds or app.

Doesn't actually translate very well.. Not sure if the app is fast enough to translate Spanish to English for a basic conversation.. I'm thinking about returning this as Google translate would work the same.. Any help would be appreciated, might change rating too.. Also I thought the earbuds would translate the conversation in real time to me.. That doesn't work.. You HAVE TO USE your phone, no translation directly into your ear.. That's the whole reason I purchased it.

It is excellent. The next stage would be to reproduce the expression of the original sentence in the translation.

App won't work at all. I purchased the M8 Translator Ear Buds and used the QR Code in the manual to download the One Click Translate App. It all started and synced on the first try. After that I keep getting a "Recognition Failure" message every time I try to use one of the translation modes. So basically the app doesn't recognize the ear buds even though this is the app recommended for them. No good.

These ear bugs is 100% complete rip off. Do not purchase this item as it simply does not work as advertised.

earphoneinstructions in Chinese ONLY! Ironic for translation partners. 2 point type and crypto instructions then follow! needs refinement and a better printing budget.....

You have to pay for the translation to work. I only bought them because the reviews said otherwise. The description of the item did not specify that a subscription was needed. It's not worth the headache, thanks.

although the translation works great. I paid for 1 yr normal translation and after conversing with my step son. he got outta range and the ear pieces disconnected and now I have to reinstall the activation code. funny I can't find it. shouldn't it be readily available? hope i get some sorta support.

M8 Translate ear buds. Brilliant for listening to music. BUT useless for translation. Very disappointed. I've tried different ways but very hit and miss. I live in Spain and was hoping to use these for hospital appointment. As i can't alway get a translator.☹️

Filipino is a VERY common language where I am. The paid portion that says it is"value added" only offers 10 languages. This is a WASTE OF MONEY! To add further insult to this. I put the earbuds in the case to charge and the app turns off. I turned it on and it said that my connection was not authorized. I had to disconnect my smart watch before it started to work again.

The app is good at translation but it stole more than 6 payments attempts at requesting the "offline" version package. Until they fix that and refund me, I'm keeping this as a warning for everyone else to not buy anything from them. edit: why does this app REQUIRE the earbuds to be used every time? having to open the ear buds every time just to use the translation app that can work without them, made me juggle apps. if to force purchase of earbuds, allow registration and then unlock without buds

it worked for about 10 minutes then shut down. error message says "network anomaly" and not recording. instructions are impossible to decipher. waste of money!

I bought a translator device off temu that had me download this app. I bought this for work because we have so many customers who do not speak English. Along with a couple of my co workers. It's done so AMAZING at allowing us to communicate with each other. It's not the ear buds it is one that we have to pass back and forth but it's way better than Google translate! Highly recommend the handheld one that goes with this app.

While the translation works well, at least from my few limited tests, the delay and clunkieness of having to activate the Bluetooth to use these make them really only useful for rudimentary communication or in an emergency. Bluetooth uses so much power, you cannot just "leave it on" all the time, while walking around a forign village far from a power supply. It depleats the phone battery fairly quickly. At least on my older Android Samsung S9 Plus. Time to replace the battery maybe? 4 Stars!

Reading the description of the app it says any Bluetooth device. Nope! Only authorized devices will work. The earbuds have good sound quality when someone is talking to you on the phone. That they barely hear you when you're trying to speak back. So far that's the only thing that sounds good, music. Haven't made it to having to pay for anything yet. Because it seems to not work. As far as translating anything? It doesn't understand Dutch, Spanish, German or French. So far cannot translate any.
