I don't appreciate the forced update, and without warning. I don't have room to do so without eliminating other apps and I can't pickup my items unless I do. Not happy.

so the app does say that if it's a salvage item, it is sold as is. That being said, there is a basic understanding that they are not selling items completely destroyed. I bought a hockey bag and it was ripped in half. they didn't show a picture of the current condition, just the brand new version. what can anyone do with a bag ripped in half.... beware it is deceitful. They do have other good deals, though.

so petty. first purchase ever and I received the wrong item. I didn't know I needed to check the item before I left to make sure it was correct - I had no clue that could even be an issue. after I got home and I live 30 min away I realized and emailed them. because I requested a refund they blocked me from ever purchasing again... it's so rude and unfair. had I known I'd be banned like a criminal I wouldn't have asked for a refund.. my word.

Cannot add payment method. The app will not allow me to add a payment method and you cannot bid without a payment method therefore it is useless.

The recent updates made app harder to use. Notifications are now required. If I turn them off, the app redirects me to settings, and there’s no way to choose which alerts I want. Please add an option to manage alerts. Second, the bottom of the screen is cut off. On item pages, the “olarr#” is hidden behind the current bid, and on my watch list, bid buttons are blocked by the home menu bar. These issues make it hard to see details and place bids. I really hope these things are fixed soon.

I would've liked to use the app but haven't been able to. It will not save my payment info. I've re- installed the app, cleared the cache, and tried different cards. Still can't click the "save" button. Frustrating..

app is ok but, the business has many issues. first, it clearly states that each auction will be charged a %15 fee plus $2 (and tax). If you win an item for $1, you'll be charged $3.40 My complaint is that their item condition description rarely matches actual condition. To claim a refund, U have to open/inspect thoroughly b4 you leave.. Sometimes, the problem isnt obvious until you try to use it. I would say %35 of items aren't as described. Parking at Brookpark location usually sucks

Unless something drastic happens, I'll be deleting the ap in a couple days. So far, I can't find a desktop version. The location is not readily visible. OLA now has a $2 per item fee with another fee of 22% which covers their 15% plus taxes. Do the folks at OLA not realize that the small iffy stuff probably won't sell. I used to buy things and give them to a charity thrift store... not any more. I tried for 0 stars but it wouldn't let me.

Bring back the website. This app is one step forward (better than their old app) but 3 steps back (harder to use, price compare, and view ACTUAL images.) I have spent ~$50k before this change and have bought very little since the switch. Additionally they have increased their fee structure with this app change in the fine print. Hides tax fine print in separate details

The app is great simple to run through, no problems there. It's mainly how shady ola is. You're winning the bid for 24 hours and there's no one else trying to put a bid in, yet you'll get the same bidding number from a ghost(ola) trying to push your bid higher at the last 5 mins so you don't get the stuff damn near free. All I can say is play with your money with caution they will cheat you so fast out of 50 bucks in 30 seconds. Best to walk away from those trying to snatch on you.. cheaters.

Does the job. This would get 5 stars if it didn't consume so much battery and if the bids win/losing were sorted by time left like watch list is. Also it would be nice if once you removed item from watch list you wouldn't get any more notifications on that item. If I took it off watch, I no longer care. I like that bids are easy to place but hard to make an accidental bid. I like how max bid can be set at bid time or later which doesn't increase current bid. I like max bid can be removed.

Edit: Updating my review based on some changes to the app. Devs listened to criticisms. It's much easier to use now than it was. I do still wish the items had titles/descriptions on page when browsing since some aren't obvious from the photo and it's faster than having to open it, but that's minor. The app is fairly reasonable to use and I now think it's better than the desktop version was.

DO NOT USE! To be clear and concise, you are bidding on literal garbage. These are amazon returns that amazon did not deem worthy of accepting. Read that again. Everything on the site is someone elses garbage. You are NOT getting a good deal you are paying less for less. I bought 2 items, listed as new. One was broke and didn't even turn on. The second was listed as new in open box. It was clearly used, dirty and missing critical parts. No returns either. This is a scam. DO NOT USE!!!

Got introduced to this app when I moved to Ohio and Its' okay but the hidden fees can be a little ridiculous. Example: won an item for 24 bucks. At the end of taxes, it is now 31. Or a 50 dollar item is now 64. Kinda high,to be honest. The items I've gotten so f all been decent quality. Pick up times schedule thing. Is ridiculous. I'm only able to pick up on Fridays or Saturdays, and the time frames I need are "NEVER" available. And we only get 3 days to pick up. It's rather frustrating.

You better double check that everything they claim is in your package, is actually in there. Literally open it up in the parking lot and check for every little piece. They'll claim something is "like new, open box", when it's missing half of the components. They also over inflate the "retail value", and most of the time people will end up bidding over what something's actually worth. I'm so done with ola.

I just got hip to you guys last night and I do enjoy it but I am so confused on how to search for a catagory because a lot goes to search not found. I think that this would be an awesome app if you would put a categorized list on your app so we can click on one of them and be directed to that specific category. I also don't like the fact that after the clock runs down it adds time on to the clock. That's pretty unfair to people who have been checking all day on their bid

the experience is great but the app takes too long to open on a brand new phone and by the time you open the app from a notification that a item is ending soon it's already closed. they have to expand that time. I've lost so many bids because it's gone by the time the app opens. neat just to set your own timer/alarm. and the $2 fee on every win is a a little steep. People think their getting a deal but when all is said and done a lot of times you get a better price for a new item at retailer.

Shady ah. When I first started I got some pretty good finds. I've been trying to win a bed frame for over a month. Won my first one, and when I went to pick it up, they couldn't find it. Won my 2nd one just now and they re-opened the bidding as I watched the countdown hit 0. After I won the item, 2 more minutes were placed on the clock. What is the point of having a countdown if the app doesn't follow it? And no, no one else bid on the item until it reopened up and they had another 20 seconds.

I love OLA. Unlike penny auctions, bids are free. The condition is listed for each item and they have links to a google search of the item so you can see reviews. The fees are standardized in which there is a flat fee per item ($2), an auction fee (15% of your final bid price), and then sales tax. So you can roughly figure out what your final out of pocket amount is and determine your maximum bid. My only issue is the notification system for a bid closing soon will sometimes come too late.
