The best survival manual app out there. Bonus for availability offline, and NO annoying ads! It covers all the essentials and more, and the illustrations are very helpful. I rarely give a 5/5 rating for any app, but this one deserves it! It's a must-have for everyone who want to be prepared for worst case scenarios.

Lifesaver! I am a person that likes to be prepared in absolutely any situation that may come along. This is the best survival app I have found. The information is both helpful and easy to understand for novice survivalists. The fact that it is both practical and informational puts it above and beyond. Ad free and offline, perfect for using if you are in a difficult situation and need to know information quickly. Perfect.

Has a lot of good information. Wish it was organized a bit better so that you could more easily and quick get to the information your looking for. It has a lot of good information but because of that it can take a min to find the right info and when your in a survival situation and needed this the phone battery is very import to keep up. Other than that though it's a great informative app.

Excellent source of information. I have a decent library of survival books for urban, rural, wilderness, and emergency situations and this "app" it still provided new information for me. It's well-written and the diagrams are very useful. Definitely something I'm going to keep on my phone as they're ready resource in the event I don't have my library with me when the information is needed. Highly recommended having this if only as an emergency resource, but it is quite enjoyable to read.

This is one of the best apps of this type out there, and has fairly extensive content. Great read / resource. It's light enough that I'm able to just keep it installed all the time. It's really fun to refer to, practice, and test myself with, even if it is just in the comfort of my own backyard or a camping trip. Far easier to have this in my pocket than 2+ print books taking up space.

I like using this app because as somebody who goes on many hikes around the forest or mountains these tips are very important in the situations. But I feel like there should be pictures to explain some things like showing a picture of poisonous plants so you know what it looks like. But other that I like the app and recommend it to anyone who enjoys hiking.

So much information. And the best part is it can also be used offline. Well, it's in the name. But this can work In scenarios as if you survived a plane crash in a remote forest and you have zero survival experience so you look into this app and it gives you a quick guide on building Shelter and what's safe and not safe to eat. Of course on planes they may have survival manuals, but what if the manual is burnt with the plane. Of course theres the problem with our phones, and it's that they die.

Honestly, very informative and helpful. I originally uninstalled it because, I thought I wouldn't have access to my phone in a crisis situation, but I later re-downloaded the app to find they had added a section on the use of phones. This shows it genuinly cares about customer feedback and will continue to grow as time passes. All and all, I like it.

Very good and informative to have. My only issue is a few grammatical errors, some of the pictures and diagrams do not show up but instead display a box of useless text and the "hostile areas" section seems to be biased towards American troops. This is likely a situation that could impact any countries military personal and so I don't know why it needed to be specified to let the "friendly" forces know you're American.

It's a great app. It's short, but explains everything necessary. It is missing a lot, but it's very organized and right to the point. I'm writing this down (with other stuff) in a notebook because I don't think I'll be able to use my phone. It's a solid 8/10 because of the missing info. There should also be a communications section, where it talks about long-range communications and radio.

Prime app. 100% needed for all phones. This app is super minimal in space and info as to not mess up your storage. It is easy to understand even if you have very little understanding of the outside whatsoever. If you're a city person, you might want to find something more through in it's explanations and ease. I have practiced several of the standard things and take my knife with me for long trips and such as well as a tarp and a few other survival essentials.

Great resource with good details (sometimes). App covers basic survival needs and is a good resource for even experienced survivalists. It attempts to cover all environment scenarios, but leaves out much that would be covered in more comprehensive manuals. But it's simplicity and length are among its appeals, making comprehention and retainability a snap. Illustrations could use more detail for better clarity for novices (that or replaced with photos). Overall, well done.

This is a direct copy of an Army survival book I had, but easier to use. The book was heavy, worn, and just not all that convenient. Provided you have an efficient battery, this app is by far the best in survival knowledge. Would recommend to any hiker, camper, or any outdoorsman in general. Edit: some of the descriptions are hard to follow, such as the tipi building in the shelter category. Those who are out in the wilderness and reading these may have to have an extensive vocabulary to understand, but still rated 5 stars for usefulness and convenience.

It's a very informative and very thorough. There are plenty of diagrams explaning how to craft certain tools and what to look for. It covers all the necessary aspects of survival and even ones most people wouldn't consider. It doesn't take up much storage space compared to how potentially lifesaving it is. It's a pretty great app and I have had it for several years now just incase and cuz it is an interesting read when you have no service.

Thorough, well written with zero typos, and easy to understand for the inexperienced. I do wish there were more pictures, and better quality pictures instead of only hand-drawn images. That's my only suggestion, the rest is incredible work. I'm not sure if I paid for this app or if it was free, but I would definitely pay for this app. It's all offline so I can access it anytime.

This app needs to be on every phone. I had this app on my old phone. I definitely recommend this if you're an outdoorsy type. Or if taking the family on a camping trip to a place you have never been before. Or for the apocalypse! This is perfect for the prepper! This and Plant information app.!! I like it. Some parts might be difficult for the beginners to read. Still a good offline app that fricken works. Why not be ready for anything?

PSA: If you're one of the few people worried about it, you can turn off background data for the app. App looks great, easy to navigate, tons of useful information and a night mode which is always appreciated. The only thing that would make it better is an annotation feature (Highlighting and boomarking). Can't wait to dig in and start reading.

This manual is great! It's comprehensive without being unessisarily long, it's easy to understand, easy to navigate, and does an excellent job of presenting dangers. However it has a few techinical issues to work out yet. For example, some of the images don't actually exist, and some of the references refer to places that don't exist. A few of the diagrams are meaningless blocks of text. Overall 9/10

Absolutely essential to understanding the outdoors and how to operate in them. Also helps for studying up on the military if you're looking to join. For example, looking into SERE training. It's a very small and basic app that might seem boring, but it will for sure save your life if you come into such confrontation. It highlights things from camouflage (my personal fav,) to interacting with people, tracking psychology, building fires, and giving your body what it needs. Great app, check it out.

As others have mentioned, there are issues with some images, references, and text. This definitely needs some polish to make it a finished product. The other big oversight is the lack of a search tool. It becomes far more useful when we can find specific information quickly and reliably. These are basic requirements for an app or any similar product. That said, it's free. So I'm thankful to have it, even imperfectly.
