The wordings are not showing at all. After the update, once I enter into the app, I can see the listed words and I can also search but once I click on a word everything becomes blank, it doesn't display the meaning of the world or anything at all, everything is just blank, I can still see everything in the bottom bar and the top bar too but the meaning of words are just blank

It's really makes me easier in researching a word in a different another word of the same particular align search at the same time. The analyzing form of word meaning is very clinical in understanding which makes it more good to use. Most assuredly, though not all words are in the app, but the best of it is; not using internet data before making your research makes it more supperb and intensify to be admired with. Therefore, they should reconstruct the app more.

Its good. However, there reason we want a dictionary is to understand the meanings of difficult words. But in this dictionary most of the words are explained with difficult words or hard words are used in the meanings. To people who English is not their language or are learning English It could have been better if simple words were used i the meanings.

It's the best Offline English dictionary you can find! It has helped a lot in understaning words that seemed incomprensible at first, • It shows a clear definition of the word, his etimology as well. • Words can have different meanings regarding the context and this app shows those meanings in context. • It also provides examples! •It shows you the pronunciation of the word in American English and in British English, with its transcription in IPA! It's the best offline dictionary!

I love this app so much! The best dictionary app i have used so far!! I'm so happy i saw it and downloaded it back,because i once deleted it when my phone had some issues. I recommend this app to anyone looking for a good dictionary app. It has audio pronunciation for both US english and British english,and it explains words in full details,with examples and phonetic sympols😍😍 I can't just say all the goodies in this app,download it and find out more about it yourself!!!💃💃😁

This is a really great app for learning meanjng of English words, which in turn has helped me improve my vocabulary. The app also helps me pronounce a word appropriately, and shows the difference between British and American articulation. Also, the app allows me see my previous searches (vocabs) easily and the offline version works well for me. This dictionary not only provide meaning of words but meaning of idioms, too. Thanks to the team for putting this together.

Been a great dictionary with variety of definitions, etymologies, slangs, etc. The data base was updated recently and dark background, choice of colours were added. GREAT! But upon doing my word searches I was disappointed. For instance, when I put in boat, I'd see boatman, boatswain, boat woman, etc. I'd go to boat, see definition, click back arrow, return to boat listing, choose another boat term... That's not happening now. When I click it goes back to a, beginning of dictionary. YUK!

Not so great. It has a feature called "Leitner Box" that I've never heard of, so I looked it up in the dictionary. It found Leitner (a surname) but not the term Leitner Box. I googled it, but have no idea how the feature works in the app. The TTS sounds awful and robotic, doesn't use my phone's TTS voice settings, and has dedicated UK and US buttons which sound better, but for only some entries. I don't want US or UK pronunciations, however. There are no visual themes or font settings.

How I love this app you got no idea. Any time I find a new word, inside a definition of another one, I just click on it, boom. Another thing, I can type in an expression to look up its meaning! Absolutely beautiful!! I got one very humble request though: consider adding Dark Mode to the settings. It makes it comfortable on ... eyes. Thanks.

The best ever—wish I'd found it years ago! The generic name you use offers no clue how great it is. If you include "Unabridged", it'll stand out much better from all the lesser dictionary apps. Suggestions: • Add a dark theme? The white background wastes power and is hard to use in low light. • When showing an entry, how about just keeping the same menu/name/search header, and just opening the next entry list over it? Is it really necessary to return to the previous page each time? Thanks!

Best dictionary app I've ever used. But if only a function could be reversed whereby as soon as one finishes reading a word and goes back to the search area, one quickly takes of from what one has typed. I'm not sure the developer will understand this but let me try and explain. For example, if I search "develop" and I click it and I decide to go back to the search area, I'll still see "develop" there and the other list of words like "developability and developable," etc that appeared when I...

Look no further! This is the best. This dictionary is soooo simplified and has most words other dictionaries don't have and so makes learning for me a whole lot easier. Try it, I recommend. Though, it has one issue- it doesn't differenciate between British and American pronunciations until I go to my phone's settings and do it manually. I mean, the buttons are already there but I have to go all the way to my phone's settings to do it. I think this issue should be resolved soonest. Many thanks.

It is a wonderful app that works without internet and no excess ads. It gives all different meanings and forms of a word. Just by clicking on any word in a definition you can head to its separate definition which comes very handy. All this in non-paid version! I prefer to keep my use of internet minimum for both environmental reasons and it helps to focus on real life better. I'm so thankful to you people for it. It just lacks in pronounciations then it would've been an app complete in itself.

In fact, you don't need to go anywhere else. This is the best dictionary you would ever find. It provides you with every single detail of the word searched ( including the part of speech ). It even gives you the US and UK pronunciation of the word. In fact, this dictionary has really helped me a lot and boosted my English a lot. Even as a teacher, I can't teach without using Vocapture. I have come across different dictionary applications but non like Vocapture. I would really recommend this app.

I am very pleased with this dictionary app. Had to replace free Oxford Dictionary which had drastically limited daily searches rendering itself useless to a non-native speaker such as myself. Glad it's Canadian as that variant is much closer to British than American. Adds are rare&short and do not bother me at all. In fact, that solution seems perfectly fair to me. I look up all sorts of words, archaic and modern, so far there has not been one that has not been found. Well done. Thank you.

It's an excellent app.I liked it.However,it has some problems.First problem is when you type a word for example "game",there are a lot of words that contains "game".And when you tap the first,then go back, there's no other words! 😭 You need to write the word "game" again! 😡 The second problem is the definitions are slightly difficult.Please fix this

The only problem with this update for me (2.2) is when I search for a word for example "success" I see many options like "successful, successfully, successfulness, etc.." and after I tap on a word, read its definition and go back, it takes me to the home page not to the tab I was on before tapping on the word, which is tiring. This problem didn't exist in older versions like (1.7.1). I still have the old version on my tablet and have not updated it yet. Please, fix this problem!

Really great app, it works really well overall and perhaps the best offline dictionary app, at least as far as I've seen. I use it all the time and it's super useful and easy to use. I also love how it includes the etymology of most words which is perfect for me because oftentimes I like to look up where a word comes from.

I absolutely love this dictionary app, more than any of the others that I've used in the past. I like that it also includes slang, and idioms. Being a frequent reader, I refer to the app on a daily basis. I only have one small complaint/suggestion. It pronounces the words too fast, in my opinion. Sometimes the word blurs together when listening to the pronunciation. For example, the word 'contrasexual', sounds like 'contras-chill' to me. Thank you kindly.
